i never considered eva mendes that beautiful…nor ashley green, she is really cute, but not for the most beautiful people of the decade…and i’m wondering..where is Angelina Jolie???????

I was thinking the exact same thing. I will never get the appeal of Eva Mendes. I think she was voted most beautiful woman, and I was like, really? You couldn’t find women more beautiful than Eva??
I think my favorite is Milla but that’s not a flattering picture.
Wow.. Am I the only one that sees Evas appeal.. I think she is beautiful beyond words.. I remember posting the pic of her in fast in the furious 2 (where she is wearing the little white bikini) next to my treadmill for inspiration..

Yes, I agree too! There are about 100 more better celebrities out there. Same thing with Kate Moss, I don’t understand that. I mean it’s refreshing to see a list without Angelina Jolie because sometimes I think it’s just become an automatic habit to put her on these types of lists. (Don’t get me wrong – I am huge Angelina fan, and think she’s stunning). But really?? Kate Moss and Dita von Teese have got nothing on her or even the other celebrities mentioned on this list!
But even overall, this list is not a good list. So, so many other beautiful celebrities. This looks more of a “young hot babes” list to me.

clearly beauty is in the eye of the beholder but i disagree with many of these being included. and if we are talking about the DECADE here, why is the list so focused on who has been in the spotlight the past yr or 2?
I don’t like Dita Von Teese’s look… Neither Kate Moss’s… In my opinion the most beautiful is Natalie… But there are a lot of beautiful women that aren’t there, such as:

I agree…I love how Camilla Belle looks and dresses. I don’t find Kate Moss beautiful, neither Eva Mendes nor Dita vo Teese…that was a weird classification! Ashley Greene and Natalie are really pretty though!!!

i mean.. where is Angelina or Megan?
i have never thought angelina is beautiful. striking but not beautiful but then its a very personal thing and i always find the desire to quantify beauty and distill it down into a list a very odd thing.
if i were to make a personal list i would have very few from above on it. but then neither would i have eva green, camilla belle or isla fischer on it. but i can’t argue that any of the names mentioned are attractive in their own way.
oh and as a natural blonde, how come most of the names are brunettes??? i feel overlooked and under represented!!!
Of the above list, I consider Alicia Keys and Ashley Greene beautiful.
I’d replace others with Lucy Liu, Kate Beckinsale, Halle Berry, Emanuela de Paula and Sophie Ellis Bextor.

What makes these particular women the most beautiful? Is it their facial features, body, hair, personality??? Is it based on their acting/singing/modeling ability? How much money they rake in annually or how popular they are? Or is it because they have devoted their time to help other (underprivileged, poor, sick) people, not because its the thing to do but because they wanted to? Do they influence others to better themselves wholly or just their looks??? Are they truly role models that send out the right message to young females???
Personally I think the only two that really belong on the list (no offence to others) are Natalie Portman and Alicia Keys.

I love A Keys too, but you know she is the “ther woman” responsible for breaking up Swizz Beatz’ marriage and is constantly flaunting it. She is beautiful and I love her music anyway!

It’s her man (he’s a famous music producer) and is still married…they’ve been together forever, and it’s just funny b/c the person above me posted how she is beautiful inside and out. I am remarking that perhaps her “inner beauty” is not all it’s cracked up to be.
I read it as ‘body hair’ – “OMG she’s like so pretty, her feet are so hairy!!!!”.
A lot of people just see celebrities as something to gossip about, and nothing makes better gossip than looks. So, in this case, face and body makes beauty – also, you’re on a site where the question “who has the better body?” is asked quite frequently, so I’m guessing you’re not here to see if they donate to charity.

What you can’t forget is that some, if not all, of these people buy there way onto these lists. Ashley Greene, while a very cute girl, has been buying up publicity ever since her ‘leaked’ nude photos came out. It’s a career move. Buy your way onto a ‘most beautiful people’ list and you get 2 perks: 1) publicity and 2) the public will perceive you as beautiful even if you aren’t.
It’s all business, not reality and that’s why you see some faces and others that should be there are missing.

This list is awful. Kate Moss is not beautiful. Nor is Dita von Teese. No Marion Cotillard? That Twilight girl is more beautiful than Emma Watson? How about the youngs Britney Spear (at the beginning of the decade)? Can anyone compete with that?

Dita Von Teese! She is my next favorite beauty after Iman. No, her look will not please everyone; It certainly pleases me. Natalie Portman has grown on me a lot too. Another thing, most of the women that I consider “omg, I’m gonna shoot myself” gorgeous are not Hollywood celebrities. Claudia Lynx, Tilda Swinton, Eugenia Volodina.

“Most Beautiful of the Decade” means people who were around for at most the whole of the decade or any time during?
If the first then Ashley Green should not be on the list.
If the second, I think there were many other “new comers” that could effortlessly take her place (but seeing she’s on the list, I guess not).
Scarlett Johansson and Milla Jovovich are the ONLY ones on this list I see as worthy of being called beautiful. Everyone else is just hideous…Sienna Miller? Ashley Greene? Come ON. Guess they were really reaching this year. And the guys…no comment.

Wow, I know this is all based on opinion, but this list is so off. One person that should definitely be on it is Sophia Bush. Anyone with eyes knows that she should make any top ten beautiful list. She’s prettier than every singe girl on that list! And the most important thing is, Sophia’s beauty is natural beauty, half the girls on the list won’t look nearly as they do in the pics with no makeup, but Sophia is a classic, true beauty, and I speak as someone who has seen her in person without makeup. Still very gorgeous!

As a matter of opinion, I find sophia bush to be incredibly plain and am not the least bit surprised she has not made any recent beauty lists. As I have also seen her in person at the airport, she looked rather short and stalky with a plain jane face.. But beauty remains in the eye of the beholder. Natalie portman is by far the most beautiful on this list. Dita von teese!??! Come one! She is almost as homely as sophia bush!

Ok, I know that this comment is like YEARS after the original post, but couldn’t resist pointing out that the list may seem a bit ‘off’ or biased because this is not really meant to be a comprehensive “Top 20 Beauties of the Decade” list. It’s a selection by Interview Magazine of who they consider to be the most beautiful people that THEY have profiled. Some people who seem to be conspicuously absent from the list may just not have been profiled by Interview.
