Then and Now: Amy Winehouse
Be honest: how many of you would have guessed that the curvy brunette on the left is (was) Amy Winehouse? Yep, that is right – Amy Winehouse was once (besides clean, neat, put together), attractive and shapely. How is she now? Well, for starters, she is on the line between skinny and emaciated – never would have guessed that she had the right curves in the right places to begin with.
Now we’re not going to speculate on the reasons that were responsible for the transformation from curvy to scary skinny or from pretty to messy, but it’s a fact that Amy suffered a very noticeable, if not unbelievable make-under.
What do you all have to say?

sorry, but she looks better now, at least body-wise. she was fat before, it is that clear. if it weren’t for the hair and the messy look and if she dressed LIKE A NORMAL HUMAN BEING then she would definitely be more attractive now.

Everybody is saying she looks good in the left one where she had more weight and she was healphy and curvy. i used to like her when she was skinny beacuse i like skinny but i ralised that it’s dangerous. What pictures dose amy winhouse look good in the healphy picture or the skinny pictures?

The second picture is of a very sick, emaciated drug addicted woman….. she looks unwell.

I like the hair and make-up better in the second picture. In the first picture everything about her face looks big. The big messy hair is her style and the eye make-up was a part of her getting famous. That is what i remarked about her the first time I saw her!
What it comes down to is….the pic on the left was taken when Amy was likely clean and sober. The pic on the right was taken while Amy has been struggling with alcoholism and addiction. She is currently not eating properly or healthfully, has been in and out of hospital, has been stressed from her husband being in jail, she is the poster child for what heavy drug use can do. Please don’t admire her post-drug use body, she really wouldn’t look like that if she was happy and healthy. Look at her beautiful smile in the first, doesn’t that speak to you?!
I agree…she looks very happy in the first pic…i love her songs and she is the reason why i started to sing….because a singer doesn’t needs to have a perfect body to sing…i’m curvy…and i’m happy about it….

Neither are a representation of a healthy woman. At least, healthy as defined by medical terms. Overweight does not signal health. It puts so much more strain on your body. Please stop spreading lies.
Are you serious? I agree with the basic principles that overweight equals fat anf fat is unattractive, but I’m not even sure that would be called overweight. She seems to naturally have some breasts and I think it’s the outfit that is somewhat unflattering around the middle to be honest. Her limbs don’t look fat to me. Of course the recommended weight per height has increased over the years for, um some reason but I really think she would have fit into it perfectly fine.
