On whether she dyed her hair dark to look different:

Well, I didn’t really dye my hair to separate myself from Gigi. I started dyeing my hair when I was 14. I dyed it black and blue, I wore eyeliner—I was a punk kid. I might want to go blond eventually!

On whether she and Gigi are alike:

I don’t know about twins, but we’re definitely a lot more similar than people think. We have the same voice, the same mannerisms. Sometimes we’ll finish each other’s sentences, or we’ll be the only people laughing. We’ve always been close. As kids, especially on weekends, our mom would drive us to the barn at 6:30 A.M., and we would spend the day together riding our horses, and washing and cleaning them.

On Stephanie Seymour’s comment that the Insta-models are “the bitches of the moment”:

It’s crazy. I’ve worked with Stephanie before and loved her; she was sweet to me. I don’t know if she meant it in that mean way. But even so, it’s still hurtful. My sister and Kendall work their asses off. We’re all working hard. You just have to let your success speak for itself…because at the end of the day, we’re making our money… I don’t want anybody to fail. Why would you wish that upon somebody? If you’re a powerful woman and you’re confident in yourself, you want other people to succeed.

the first picture looks like she’s modeling trash bags…

      Yes haha

    • AlyssaMoh

      which is appropriate for her.

“My sister and Kendall work their asses off. We’re all working hard. You just have to let your success speak for itself”
I can’t. Is she aware that the word nepotism exists? If she were born into a middle class family and didn’t have plastic surgery, nobody would care. Same with Kendall and Gigi.

    • Calia

Another wealthy, connected person who started on third base but is convinced she hit a triple.

    • CarrieD

I love how she talks about going to the barn and riding her horses with her sister. That is just such a typical activity of the privileged…

      • cheeze.wiz

        She was so punk

        • CarrieD

          Hahaha 😀

        • Sasha

          good observation!! 🙂

    • Calliope

Or that ‘working your asses off” and coming away with heaps of money, success and acclaim largely through nepotism is hardly the same as working your ass off and barely being able to pay for a decent living…like most people.

      • claud

wearing missy elliott’s trash bag of the 90s for a magazine that sells thousand-dollar sweatshop runoff to your fellow beverly-hillers does not a punk make. nice try.

    • Alias

Explains why they have no ass.

  • cheeze.wiz

Guuurl you ain’t and never were punk

    • lc

Love your hair, is it gray now? I’m dying to do that 🙂

      • cheeze.wiz

        It’s a smokey aquamarine… 🙂 thanks gurlfren

        • lc

          No problem!

      • Agatha

I thought you hated the colored hair trend, haha (if I’m not mistaken you with other user). But I agree, looking good! @livalittle:disqus

        • lc

Idk if I hate it, I was just making a comment about how it’s odd it’s so mainstream these days, along with tattoos, piercings, etc. I don’t like tats and piercings though, lol.

          • cheeze.wiz

I was really into the colored hair years ago… Then I got a real person job… But now I haves a fake person job again… Haha… No tattoos or piercings though haha

  • CarrieD

I know a lot of people find this girl drop dead gorgeous but I just can’t see the appeal. Her body looks very nice but her face is just so bland to me… Not ugly, just bland.

    • ayu

To me as well. There’s just something missing. Some emotion, something quirky.

  • lc

    No go away.

  • chris

Man, when you go look at real models its such a difference. first of all, i have never seen her do a different expression. second, compared to a real beauty like natasha poly or magdalena f- she’s nothing.

    • Leighton

Nobody will ever be better than those queens. Hands down.

  • KC

She looks like Jennifer Lawrence on the cover.

  • Leighton

Argh… I find her just so freaking stunning.

  • Jojo

She has the exact same expression all the time, on candid or editorial pictures.. it really doesn’t matter.

  • ar

I thought modeling was about facial expressions as well – atleast Gigi TRIES. I’ve always found this girl to be very beautiful, but her lack of expression in every single photo shoot has made me start disliking her. She seems GENUINELY bad at modeling at this point. Her weight loss has also made her once prettier face a little too gaunt for my liking. Her wardrobe, accessories, hair, and makeup need to do most of the modeling for her. Take that away from her and she just looks like a slightly drugged (good looking) rando on the street. Although Kendall and gigi might not be as pretty as her, they have SOMETHING going on with their eyes – they’re trying. I havent seen anything other than that creepy dead expression on this girl. That will work for a picture maybe, but if you’re going to make that face for candids, red carpets, and every single photoshoot and still get paid – that’s kind of ridiculous.

  • Mel

Bella lives up to her name in terms of physical appearance and I can’t hate her for capitalizing on the opportunities given to her, unfair or not, but she’s simply not a great model. She always has a blank, almost bewildered look on her face. At 1st I thought it was maybe mysterious, but I see that it’s just bland now.

  • isa

on her instagram and candids of her i find her so beautiful…but she does not know how to translate it to modeling…every one of her modeling photos looks so bland…stephanie seymour really hit it right on the nail..

  • Alias

The Chanel campaign with Kendall Jenner and Sasha Luss was just so funny. Yeah Kendall and Gigi work SO hard. Kendall didn’t even have to go to castings to get a spot in the VSFS and a bunch of other shows.

  • sharlane

“My sister and Kendall work their asses off. We’re all working hard. You just have to let your success speak for itself”… Girl still does not recognize the privilege she and her sister and Kendall have as well-connected rich girls. Like YEAH, I’m sure you all work super hard, but so do kids going to school and working minimum wage jobs. No one is saying ya don’t work hard, but you don’t get to the tippy-top of the industry working EQUALLY as hard as all the girls still struggling to get jobs without a lil boost…

  • Sasha

    I can’t stand the “we’re all working hard”… Just can’t.
