Sharon Stone in a Very Short Black Dress at Cannes

Sharon Stone made an appearance on the red carpet yesterday and she opted for a leggy look: a very tiny dress with a very big train.
So, how do you all like Sharon’s choice? Is the dress a little too short or is it perfect for her thin-and-fabulous-over-50-figure?

I think she can pull it off – she’s got nice legs. However, she seems a bit uncomfortable, so maybe she should have opted for a few centimeters longer.
She looks fantastic, way younger than 50. Her body is awesome, like that of a 20 year old!! She is really lucky because older women can look even older and gaunt when they are thin, but Sharon looks as youthful as ever.
She must have read Cher’s interview where she said “flaunt it while you have it”

She looks good, sometimes she looks as though she lacks muscle tone but it’s probably her body type. She definitely looks good for her age.

Personally, I think it is a little too short for her to wear just because of her age. At a certain age, you should lengthen the skirt/dress a little. You can still be ultra sexy and not wear a short dress like that. She looks PHENOMENAL for any age though. Great body…however, I don’t think something that short is the most appropriate after….35-40.
Something right above the knee that is figure hugging is ultra sexy. Jessica Alba, who is was younger than Sharon rarely, if ever wears things so short, and she look very sexy on the red carpet.
I think she’s stunning!!!She looks so hot…Other women in her age [and younger] would kill to have a body like hers… I wouldn’t say the dress is too short…I mean it is short obviously…but she has great legs…

I think if most of us are honest of course we would want to show off our figure if we looked that incredible at 50. Some may not be comfortable with the idea of a ‘middle aged’ woman wearing such a short skirt but that’s not really her problem, it’s ours for needing to judge. At least she has a lot more taste and class than Madonna who’s only aim is to shock everyone.

Wow…if her face was cut out of that picture I would have thought I’d been looking at a 20-something supermodel!!! It totally doesn’t suit her age, but then she can totally pull it off – it just goes to show that life doesn’t end when you reach your 50s
She looks incredible for any age. I don’t necessarily think though that just because you can still wear a minidress that you should.

I hate “age” rules when it comes to clothing. Same thing with hair – people seem to think that over a certain age everyone should have short hair. If it looks good and you feel great in it, then go ahead and wear it. I would love to look this great at 50. Every time I see Sharon Stone I’m inspired to hit the gym!
