Skinny VS Curvy

Today is the day for many new faces around here and Ashanti is one of them. Now Ashanti would definitely make an excellent candidate for the Curvy Scale, as well as a great competitor in the Skinny Versus Curvy Battle. But for now, here she is, exhibiting her hips in two different outfits, matched with two different hairstyles – both dresses are on the flashy side and both pairs of shoes on the red carpet.

Jessica Simpson is a rare case of a girl who looks better when she dresses down. How convenient, how lucky! Instead of spending hours applying a picture perfect make-up and choosing an extravagant outfit, Jessica can grab some short and walk through the door.

Kristin Davis is at a wide range of events these days, due to her increased popularity as a result of the Sex and the City premiere. So, here she is, in two different outfits that are not that different at all – Why? Simply because Kristin knows precisely how to dress for her body type and what kind of dresses embrace her figure best.

Here we have Carrie Underwood looking slim at the Country Music Awards. Carrie is one celebrity that did not escape the “she’s too skinny” comments in the past, but these days she manages to avoid them by looking slightly less skinny.

In fact, on a second look, she is looking too slim – no, I don’t mean scary – too slim for the white outfit on the right, which appears to be 2 sizes too big. The outfit on the left – well, looks pretty good on Carrie, if we are fans of the glossy-shine-extravaganza (the hair, the dress, the purse, the shoes, the skin).

Which one of these outfits do you prefer on Carrie’s body?

Yes, this is a tough one. What’s tough? Choosing which outfit looks better, or, better said, which one looks less bad on Paris. Let’s see:

1. Shiny silver leggings paired with a super-shiny silver jacket. Paris is flashy just by being tall, blonde and Paris - so extra shininess and sparkliness (that she obviously loves) are just not welcomed.

2. Beides the fact that the hat spells “Queen” which is apparently not enough, the belt spells “Paris”. But that’s not enough either. The shirt on the right spells, you guessed, “Paris”. (more…)
