Skinny VS Curvy

Yes, this is the Simpson’s day – first dressy Jessica and now pregnant Ashlee. But as I promised, we’ve got to bring on the updates on Ashlee Simpson’s belly bulge, a belly bulge who won’t become noticeable just yet. In fact, I do spot some extra pounds on Ashlee, especially in the hip area, but that could be just the dress playing its unflattering mission.

OK, so you are wondering how come I have already written some lines without mentioning the so-out-there cleavage and boobs coming out of the very low cut dress, without a bra underneath and “oh my God, I though Jessica was the booby one”, but just so you know, I won’t say a thing. 

Ashlee and Jessica have been playing the “I’m hotter now/ No, I am” game for a long while and while Jessica is the one with a reputation that includes words like “sexy” or “hot” more, some prefer Ashlee’s less conventional hotness.

So, on the left, we’ve got younger and redder “pregnant, but not showing” Ashlee and on the right, we’ve got blonder, curvier and “more ripe” Jessica. What do these girls have in common, besides their parents, genes and some features? Count in the fact that they were at the same even last night and wore dark colored dresses and big funky earrings. Glittery knees were optional.

Who’s hotter? Ashlee or Jessica Simpson?

Not only did Ashlee finally confirm that she is expecting a baby, but she also confirmed that she is in her second semester – wow! Ashlee said she wanted to wait until after the first semester to confirm the news – or, as we, the suspicious minds might put it, until she got enough “oh I’m pregnant, oh I’m not” publicity.

What can we say? We can definitely say that she hasn’t gained any weight at all to this point and looks borderline slim to skinny. There will be updates on how big Ashlee’s belly (and other) will grow!

Wait, wait, I am looking for the baby bump. Scanning, processing… nope, no sign of it. While Ashlee Simpson is still enjoying the “Is she pregnant? Is she not?” promotion that sells albums and concert tickets, she still looks mighty slim. This is probably the slimmest look you can get without your bones protruding out. Now her body doesn’t particularly spell “hourglass” or “small waist” and the high waisted skirt sure does a great job at amplifying this fact. But well, the overall result is pretty delightful, so let’s let her be.

After joggling with “I’m pregnant”, “No, I’m not” (suspense equals constant publicity), following the well known recipe of all Hollywood soon-to-be moms, little miss Simpson or the media (no, nobody is sure) decided that future misses Wentz is, indeed, pregnant and told the world. Miss Simpson sure looks fit and slim now and, in case she is as pregnant as US Weekly says, it will definitely be entertaining to see how much (or how little) weight she will put on, how fast or how sudden she will gain and so on (yes, we could build graphics). Now the blue flared coat she has on is a great investment, considering that, even an 8 months baby bump can hide in there quite comfortably.
