Alicia Keys is in the air… and we mean it literally. In fact, the flowing effect is sure making Alicia look like she’s as light as a feather, even though her thighs represent a curvy, voluptuous woman that, besides having curvy thighs, also has a pretty slim waist – and we can observe them all thanks to the tight and high-waisted pants.
And since we mentioned the pants – not that Alicia’s is not looking fab, but there might be better and even “fabber” choices of pants for a pear shaped girl – like something not as tights on the lower legs.
What do you say?

Jennifer knows precisely how to dress for her new body that slightly differs from her pre-pregnancy fit figure:
1. Jennifer knows just how short the dress can be in order to hide the back thigh cellulite (that appears in the bikini pictures).
2. Jennifer knows that one of the most efficient ways to camouflage any negative post-pregnancy effects on her body is to flaunt the positive effects instead, such as: full cleavage.
3. Jennifer also knows that dresses with a high waist and delicately pleated just above the stomach can perfectly hide all possible love handles or any new mommy flab.
4. Jennifer knows that a thick belt displayed on the right spot does a great job in hiding a small post-baby belly.

Since I wrote the title, which was exactly 3 seconds ago, I changed my mind about trading the word “interesting” for the word “terrible”. I’m not exactly gonna say that Lily doesn’t have the mini thighs that she would need in order to pull off those pants, because I’m pretty sure that they will look tacky on anyone, regardless of the thigh circumference.
Now besides the animal print (which works and rocks may clothing items, just not pants), she cut of the pants is truly unflattering – girls with pear body shapes can rarely pull off tight pants that are cut below the knees, especially light colored ones. And since the top is only accentuating Lily’s A shape and “small breasts-big thighs combo”, I’d say that the outfit is, unfortunately, terrible.

So we recently saw Jennifer looking like a slim and curvy goddess in a little black dress, making the most out of her pear body shape. Well, that was then. Now, on the other hand, she is making the least out of her pear body shape by choosing the above outfits – OK, not her fault in the second picture, since she was on set – which explains the comfy shoes on a break – though nothing explains the monster sleeves that add unneeded volume.
What’s wrong with the outfit on the left? Well, one of Jen’s highlights is the fact that she’s got a tiny waist – even though nobody would believe it if looking at her in that maternity-like top that ”thanks” to its A shape, also happens to accentuate Jennifer’s A shape (as in pear shape). And when you add big boobs to the equation, you’ve got a balloonish result on a body that could have looked flawless, if the right outfit was chosen.

June 28, 2008 in Body Type and Clothes, Kim Kardashian by Versus

When you’ve already got a very curvy body that also happens to respect the proportion of an hourglass, then the last thing you want is to add some extra puffiness and roundness to it, especially in your middle section. It wouldn’t be a pity if Kim didn’t have a slim and nicely contoured waist – but she does and she should definitely accentuate it with the cut of the dresses. Because if she doesn’t…
Big and balloonish booty + big and balloonish boobs + balloonish dress = a really balloonish result.
