Skinny VS Curvy

Right on the “body shape and clothes” subject:

The good?

The color of the shoes. Nude shoes extend the leg visually and contribute to a slimming effect. No “eww, look at the calves” comments for Jennifer.

The bad?

Looks like the dress doesn’t want to stay in the right place and Jeniffer’s curvaceous hips are definitely not helping the cause.

Versus’s expert advice: Buy fluid dresses, throw the stiff fabrics, keep the shoes, choose more bra support, no deep cut wrap dress unless you unstress.

Yes, they exist: the pants that managed to make even Paris Hilton’s legs look rotund, and by rotund I literally mean rotund, but also the p-trio, puffy, plump and pudgy . So I guess they would have to be on everybody’s top of the “things I would never ever purchase” list – that is, everybody who is as skinny as or less skinny than Paris, even though I am pretty sure these pants would not have a slimming nor flattering effect on anyone.

Is there anybody out there who thinks these pants look good? If so, on who’s body?

Salma Hayek has got perfect hourglass shape, let’s start from that. But is she as gorgeous as she can be in the above picture? Umm, nope. Why nope? Simply “thanks” to the clothes. Yes, it’s another one of those: body shape and clothes.

Firstly, Salma’s blouse and large boobs – a “no no”. Why? Because what the blouse does is that it creates the impression of the chest meeting the bellybutton. Next, Salma’s neck is not particularly long and lean – so the neck and the bow at its base is yet another big “no no” to put on the “what not to wear” list. Thirdly, we know that Salma lost the baby weight, but the chosen outfit almost, almost shows the contrary. What are your thoughts?

I figured since Lindsay is a passionista for leggings, we should all decide once and for all whether or not she looks good in this “compromise between pants and stockings”. So, here we go: Lindsay Lohan in (yet another pair of) leggings: Wow or Eww?

Criteria to decide:

1. Do leggings flatter Lindsay’s figure?

2. Are they the right choice for her body type?

3. Does she look skinny/chubby/curvy/fit/etc. in leggings?

4. Should she opt for a different style, more suitable for her shape?

Versus’s expert verdict: Lindsay has a great potential to be Wow. How? Minus blonde hair, plus red hair, minus orange skin, plus white skin, minus leggings, plus pants.

It is due to lindsay that a different genre of women’s shoes was introduced in the campus range. This includes the jewelry as well as diamonds. Soon we will be having watches too.

Victoria Beckham sure knows how to get all eyes on her! While sometimes she uses the “the more the merrier” technique for her cleavage, other times she insists to wear impossibly unnoticeable colors, like phosphorescent green dress matched with, you guessed, phosphorescent green shoes. This time I can only appreciate that she didn’t match the “as pink as it gets” pants with a “as pink as it gets” bag. While there is no argue that these pants would make even the skinny ones look not so skinny, she manages to look as slim as ever, regardless if we are enjoying the front or the back view.
