OK Magazine Reveals Celebs’ Real Sizes!

April 24, 2009 in Celebrity Weight & Measurements, Eva Longoria, Halle Berry, Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Lopez, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Jessica Alba, Jessica Simpson, Kim Kardashian, Mariah Carey, Tori Spelling by Versus

OK Magazine Reveals Celebs Real Sizes! | celebrity weight measurements

A very intersting read! Slightly NOT true, but entertaining. Apparently, Jessica Alba wears size 25 jeans, Tori Spelling is 110 lbs, Kim Kardashian still fits in size 26 jeans, and Jennifer Lopez is 5′8”. Here’s the complete article, full of celebrity pounds & dress sizes!

Mariah Carey – 5′9″

The songstress, 40, has always been famous for her fluctuating waistline. “She was fitting into size 4 dresses last May, just after she married Nick Cannon,” a source tells OK!. “Now, she’s a 6, but sometimes an 8 or 29 in jeans; it always changes.”

Jennifer Aniston – 5′5″

America’s sweetheart has always been fit. “Jen’s never changed from size 26 jeans and a 0/2 dress,” a source tells OK!. Two-hour yoga sessions, 45-minute workouts and a protein-packed diet keep the Baster actress, 40, toned at 110 pounds.

Jessica Alba –  5′7″

Following the June 2008 arrival of little girl Honor Marie, Jess, 28, quickly peeled off the pounds. “She was size 28 in jeans by August; in October, a 26,” a stylist who works with a top denim line tells OK!. “By December, she was her usual size 25, 0/2 dress and 110 pounds.”

Halle Berry – 5”6″

It didn’t take long for Halle, 42, to get back into shape after the March 2008 birth of daughter Nahla. “Before the baby, she wore size 27 jeans,” a source tells OK!. “During the mid to late stages of her pregnancy, she was a 31. Now’s she’s back to a 28 for jeans and a size 4 dress.”

Jennifer Love Hewitt – 5′2″

When the actress, 30, hit a beach last June, she caught flack for her fuller bikini body (“A size 2 is not fat!” she fired back). Indeed, a stylist tells OK! that Jennifer, who works out for 90 minutes, four days a week, has worn size 27 jeans since August.

Kim Kardashian – 5′2″

Despite what you might have read in a recent tabloid, Kim, 28, is anything but plus-sized. In fact, she’s a rather petite dress size 2 to 4, and a 26 or 27 in jeans, her rep confirms to OK!. The 118-pound reality star, who has released a line of fitness DVDs, owes her curves to two-hour daily workouts that include weights and an abs series.

Tori Spelling – 5′5″

Forget the rumors that the 90210 star and mother-of-two, 35, starves herself. Tori, who weighs in at 110 lbs, says she stays slim by exercising with her family. Her rep tells OK! the actress wears size 25 jeans and a 0/2 dress.

Jessica Simpson – 5′2″

She wore size 28 jeans earlier this year, but “now Jess requests size 26,” a celebrity stylist tells OK!. The singer, 28, is currently a size 4 dress and 122 pounds. “She’s bigger up top, but has a teeny waist,” adds the stylist.

Jennifer Lopez – 5′8″ (umm, since when?)

Following the birth of twins Max and Emme in February 2008, J.Lo, 39, slimmed down with the help of trainer Gunnar Peterson, who designed her daily cardio/strength-training regime. Now, “she’s a solid 28 in jeans,” a source tells OK!.

Brooke Shields – 5′11″

The 43-year-old mother of two was a size 28 while filming her NBC TV series, Lipstick Jungle, her friend tells OK!. Now that the show’s been canceled, Brooke’s eased up on her diet. “She’s a size 29,” a source tells OK!.

Eva Longoria Parker – 5′1″

Though she packed on pounds last year for Desperate Housewives, Eva, 34, said she never went up a size. A source says, “She actually did go up to 25 in jeans, but she’s back to her normal size 24, 0 dress, 98 pounds.”

Definitely debatable! Let’s hear your thoughts!

Tori Spelling Is 95 Pounds

Tori Spelling Is 95 Pounds | celebrity weight measurements

… Says Star Magazine:

Tori Spelling’s weight continues to plunge dramatically, yet she’s still not satisfied with her look.

The 90210 icon has shrunk to a skeletal 95 lbs (at 5′6”), say experts — and those close to her are begging her to get help!

Even her estranged mother, Candy Spelling, thinks Tori is anorexic and is desperate to bury the hatchet in order to help. She has made it clear that money is no object, and she’ll pay to send Tori to a top treatment facility, a family source tells Star.

“Candy is a nervous wreck over Tori. She thinks she is really troubled and anorexic. In all the years I’ve known Tori, this is the worst I have ever seen her.”

Tori — whose jean size has shrunk to a shocking 00 — admits that her diet changed drastically after her daughter was born in June 2008. “I just changed the way that I ate after I had Stella,” says Tori, who also has a 2-year-old son, Liam, with husband Dean McDermott.

The busy mom and author of Mommywood denies she has an eating disorder, but still admits that her meals often consist of scraps from her children’s leftovers. In one interview she said that could mean eating as little as a piece of hot dog, a broccoli floret and a single french fry — a scant 130 calories!

“Everybody is trying to figure out how to convince Tori she needs help,” another insider tells Star.

Kim Kardashian Fights Back: “I’m a Size 2, Not 2XL”

April 21, 2009 in Celebrity Weight & Measurements, Kim Kardashian by Versus

Kim Kardashian

A few days ago, US Magazine published an article about Forever 21’s upcomming plus-size line and the same article mentioned Kim Kardashian’s name:

“Here’s a little faith for fuller-figured fashionistas: On May 1, they can try on a new Plus-Size line, Faith 21, from hip bargain chain Forever 21. (Kim Kardashian is a fan).”

Kim’s response?

Here’s what she wrote on her blog:

I feel that this clipping from Us Magazine is a bit misleading, so I wanted to comment on it.

I am a huge fan of Forever 21 and I’m very happy they have expanded their line to include a plus-size range, but I am not in that size category and this article makes it sound like I am! I am a curvy girl and I love my curves, but curvy and plus-sized are two very different things. I work really hard to maintain my curves while staying slim and healthy, so to be classed as a “fuller-figured woman” of extra large proportions is a little offensive.

For the record, I am a size 2, not 2XL.

Hmm… I don’t think that this response was necessary, really (and many visitors on her blog agree).  Firstly, because they aren’t really calling Kim “full-figured” and secondly, because she shouldn’t get so offended even if they did. What do YOU all think?

Oh, and thirdly, Kim looks AMAZING, but why oh why does she have to defend her size all the time? One minute she’s the proud curvy girl (which, I think, is the right attitude) and the next minute she is trying to convince us that she’s a size 2 (even though her measurements are 34-26-39, her words). A few months back, Kim was saying “Stylists would bring me a size 6 or 8, and they had to come back with 2’s and 4’s. I am only 117 lbs!”.

What are your thoughts?
