Plus-Size Model Hunter McGrady in Sports Illustrated

Name: Hunter McGrady

Age: 23

Height: 5’11” / 180 cm

Measurements: 45″-38″-52″ / 114-97-132 cm

Ashley Graham is not the only plus-size model in Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Edition this year (and Robyn Lawley definitely doesn’t qualify as plus anymore) – meet blonde beauty Hunter McGrady, who rocks the pages of the publication dressed in… well, nothing besides body paint.

A few quotes from Hunter:

“I always wanted to be a model. My mom was a model, and my grandma, and my aunt, so I was always around it. And I always remember looking at my mom and being like ‘I want to be you.’ That never changed for me. I knew from the moment I knew what it was that I wanted to do this. I didn’t work very much as a straight sized model because I am a very hippy person. Although I was 115 pounds and I’m 5’11—I was very very tiny for my height—I could never get rid of my hips.”

“My main goal is to get across to women that you are able to love your body at any size and that you’re sexy and beautiful at any size. Beauty is not a size and I’m really happy that the industry is accepting body diversity. I use my Instagram a lot to promote body diversity because it’s a building platform and it’s continuing to grow. And just even posting on there unphotoshopped photos, photos of me where my cellulite is showing, where my stretch marks are showing, where I have rolls. And I think women, and girls, and teenagers see that and can relate and feel comfortable in their body to know I’m putting myself out there saying ‘I have these things too.”

Ashley, Kendal and Gigi Share the Cover of Vogue

0317-VO-COVR01-01_NOUPC - Ashley, Kendal and Gigi Share the Cover of Vogue

Ashley Graham finally scored the cover of American Vogue – a shared covered, that is. The size 14 beauty posed together with six straight size models: Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid, Liu Wen, Ashley, Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid, Imaan Hammam, Adwoa Aboah and Vittoria Ceretti.

As soon as the cover was released, various outlets started to point out the marks Photoshop has left on the image – from Ashley looking slimmer than in reality to Gigi’s freaky extended arm.

How do you guys like Vogue’s cover?

Natalia Vodianova Has Half of a Pain au Chocolaton on Her ‘Cheat’ Day:

On keeping her kids’ weight in check – she has 5 kids:

‘Here’s what I did with my son. At 10, he was frankly getting a little chubby. I said to him, “You cannot sit down with this thing happening to your stomach.” So yes, I am a little military when it comes to them eating c**p… Well I tell them they are gorgeous and beautiful and all those good things, but I tell them to watch what they eat, because those habits will stay for ever, so you need to make healthier choices from the start.’

On her biggest craving:

‘When I moved to France, for two years I had a pain au chocolat every morning. Finally, I woke up and thought, I truly cannot face another one.’

On having one cheat day per week:

‘So now my daughter and I have half each on a Saturday morning – it’s our ritual. And we’re good with that.’

… says the 34 year-old supermodel in Net-a-Porter.

On her very active childhood:

‘I grew up very active, and my parents made me try every single sport there was. I would pick some of them up, but with others, I’d be like, “I hate it.” So they’d say, “OK, let’s try something else.”‘

On the fact that she hates running:

‘I wish I loved to run, because I’d love to run through Central Park or on vacation on the beach, but I absolutely hate it. I do it for five minutes and I’m like, “Ugh, why am I doing this?”‘ she said.

On why she loves working out:

‘I always feel better after a workout. I have more energy, and mentally I’m in a better place.’

On where she gains weight first:

‘God, my butt. My friends always joke around because whenever I turn around, I’ll bump into stuff because I forget that it’s there. In stores, I’ll knock over glasses or candles or whatever. Everything goes there or on my face. But definitely down there.’

… says Sports Illustrated beauty Nina Agdal.
