Skinny VS Curvy

As you all know, Katie’s fashion sense has been in the gossip spotlight lately, as both experts (Tim Gunn) and amateurs have been commenting on Katie’s manly, baggy or rolled jeans and on her boyish look.

Well, no sign of the boyish look on this occasion, when Katie went for tight jeans, heels and a feminine blouse that clearly allowed us to have a look at yet another feminine clothing item, Katie’s bra.

It’s no surprise to anyone at this point that Katie is walking around in men’s clothes (as Katie herself declared) or that even when she’s wearing women’s clothes, she’s going for a masculine or boyish look – like in this case above.

We could say that, at least body-wise, the looks is working for her, thus making her look tall and lean, slim and trim.

Katie Holmes loves wearing Tom’s clothes – wow, it even rhymes! So yes, that’s true. The masculine look that Katie has been sporting lately is all because of the fact that Katie was, indeed, wearing men’s clothes, as she admitted herself. Why, you ask?

Apparently, Katie “feels closer to Tom” when she’s in her husband’s outfits. Furthermore, she was surprised to find out that the manly items fit her really well – but require a belt for a perfect fit.

What do you have to say?

Last time we saw Katie, she was wearing men’s jeans. And gloves. And no, the last time we saw Katie was not in January, she was wearing long, black gloves in the middle of the summer, without any apparent reason. In case you missed it, click here!

This time, Katie is, yet again, really close to a manly outfit – thank God for the shoes that are saving the situation a little. But the rest, starting with the large jeans to the belt and from the cardigan that screams “Tom’s style” to the (overly debated) hair, Katie is just very, very far (on another planet, actually) from the Katie she once was.

I am aware that this is not the ideal picture for a body inspection, but this pic is interesting from other points of view. Such as, for once, the fact that Katie’s wearing what appears to be man jeans – or just some very large jeans that many of us wouldn’t have placed in her “mature, serious, classy” wardrobe.

Secondly, one small question and I’m gone: The gloves?? Anyone has got ideas? Funny, cause there have been certain celebs who used gloves in the past… in order to hide engagement rings… or lack thereof.
