Skinny VS Curvy

At this point, it’s a little sad and a little comical that Kim talks (and thinks) about her figure THIS much.

After last week Kim twitted a bikini picture that looked visibly stretched (or at least her body and face looked elongated because of the angle) to prove the fact that she has reached her weight goal (see the highly debated post HERE!), now she felt the need to post more proof on her blog that she is, indeed, as thin as she wants (a few days ago she was the advocate for curves in a magazine) and included her sister Khloe in the picture – a picture which, again, is taken from the same angle and has the same unrealistic, inaccurate result (proof: Khloe looks like a bobble-head, which she is not).

I Twittered one of these pics last week, but I wanted to share the rest with you guys here. I really feel like I have reached my fitness goal and now I am toned, fit and at a healthy weight and I just need to keep it up!

Getting fit is great, being informed on what to eat and how to dress for your body type is great as well, embracing and loving your figure is great, admiring and finding inspiration in other women is OK too, it’s all part of being the best you can be at a physical level – but if you spend most of your effort, energy and time on your looks alone, I’m wondering about how much effort, energy and time there are left to be the best you can be at an intellectual, emotional and spiritual level.

Kim Kardashian did an interview and a photo-shoot with Saturday Night Magazine and of course, her figure was one of the debated issues. Here are the parts that might interest you:

SNMag: Part of what comes with being in the public eye is having your image scrutinized. What are your thoughts on this and having to field questions relating to your body all the time?
KK: I was looking at picture of myself during an appearance the other day, and they always zoom in on my butt and take pictures of just my butt. That’s just pointless. But at the end of the day, I really love being fit and getting in shape. I am an advocate for curves because I have them and that will never change and I will embrace them. But, I am also an advocate for being in shape. Right now I feel like I am in the best shape of my life, and I feel like my curves have never looked better. I spend one to one and a half hours in the gym daily. I really watch what I eat. I love curves, and I am really proud that I can help other girls be proud of their curvy bodies, but I am not into being lazy and not being in shape.

SNMag: What’s your current workout/diet regimen?
KK: I have a trainer and I am in a class called boot camp. I just try and figure out new ways to keep my workouts exciting. It does tend to be boring when you do the same thing over and over again. I have my fitness DVDs and I am doing everything I can for my next workout DVD. Eating better helps. I have the biggest sweet tooth and it ruins everything.

I am not one of her fans, but I do like the way she looks in this shoot, especially in the first 3 pictures – they look much classier than most of the things she has done.

Yes, the angle makes Kim look less curvier than she is, but she is also slimmer – check out her middle area.

UPDATE: OK guys, so I am including a side-by-side comparison between Kim in a bikini 2 months ago (a pic she posted on her blog) and the new Kim in a bikini. You can decide where she looks curvy or less curvy now.

Star Magazine is saying I had plastic surgery to make my nose and lips smaller! Why would someone want smaller lips?! LOL

In the first photo I am about 15 lbs heavier than the second photo! Your face always looks different when you lose weight, plus with the contouring on my nose it gives the illusion of a thinner nose. I actually think my nose looks smaller in the first pic than it does in the second. It’s ridiculous… it’s all about the makeup and the angle from which the photo was taken! See the pics below:

It’s no secret I contour my nose now to make the bump go away! I guess it’s a compliment to my makeup artist that he does such a good job contouring my nose that it appears smaller. But hey, Star mag thinks it looks smaller… yay! My dream come true, hahaha!

Stories like this are so funny! I love that there’s a Dr who I’ve never even met giving his ‘professional’ opinion on my face!
