Kourtney Kardashian admits she’s a food snob and an avid pre-shower exercise fanatic – and she also isn’t keen on keeping her biggest beauty secret to herself:

On getting ready for a special event and for bikini season:

If bikini time is coming up or something I want to be shape for I’ll do dips on my bathtub and no matter what I’ll do 100 squats before I get in the shower. That way I won’t forget. Once in a while, when I’m feeling anxious, we’ll say let’s do boxing but usually we leave it up to the trainer because I think it’s good to shock your body.

On her biggest beauty secret:

I make an avocado smoothie in the morning. It makes my skin glow my hair really healthy everyone asks why my hair is so shiny.

On how she is the food snob that cleans up her family’s fridges:

We eat gluten free and dairy free in my house, try to eat as little processed food as possible. I love to share whatever things I’m into. I was at [my sister] Kim’s the other day looking through her freezer and said I can’t believe you have this or that and she was like you’re right and changed a bunch of her things to organic. I’m a food snob.

On losing weight because of her stressful breakup:

Everyone deals with hard times in their lives differently. I’m generally not a nervous person but I get anxious. I also get nauseated; I feel like I can’t eat when it is really bad, but I force myself to stay healthy. When my anxiety is extreme, it feels like my body is constantly burning calories all day long. One thing I’ve found that really helps is working out. Of course, when I’m having an anxious day, my workout is so much harder. But that’s when it feels good to power through it! I try to exercise 5 days a week. My anxiety is always worse in the mornings so that’s when I schedule my workouts. I usually start with a quick run or jumping rope to warm up.

“I try to eat pretty healthy, but I think it’s fun and important to listen to your cravings. I develop a thing for Nilla Wafer cookies every time [I’m pregnant]. I have no idea why! I’ve also been into cheese and pickle sandwiches. Everyone thinks I’m gross when I order them.”

On her family’s diet:

“We definitely make exceptions, like if we’re at Disneyland. But we eat organic when we can, and I try to keep healthy food and snacks at home, where I have the most rules and restrictions. I saw my mom making meals for my kids, and I said, ‘This is the cheese you use? This is the butter?’ But I guess that’s just part of going to Grandma’s house.”
