Skinny VS Curvy

Today is “White Dresses Day!” - following Heidi Klum, but on a more casual level, here are Jennifer Love Hewitt and Kristin Davis, both wearing some long, flowy white dresses (or skirt and blouse, in Kristin’s case). And yes, the white dresses will keep on coming, stay tuned.

And you know what these white outfits do, besides blowing in the wind and being part of a laid back style? They pretty much cover Jennifer’s and Kristin’s curvy hips - but while Kristin opted for a bow (?) to point out her slim waist, Jennifer pointed out something else (at a very close look).

So, which one of these curvy ladies do you prefer? Who looks better/hotter/prettier in this white look?

Kristin Davis is at a wide range of events these days, due to her increased popularity as a result of the Sex and the City premiere. So, here she is, in two different outfits that are not that different at all - Why? Simply because Kristin knows precisely how to dress for her body type and what kind of dresses embrace her figure best.

How is her body type? Since Kristin has small shoulders, small waist, wider hips and also appears to carry her weight on her thighs and upper legs, Kristin is a perfect pear shape. How to dress for a pear shape body type?

Lots of things can be said about this picture that illustrates the Sex and the City: The Movie girls at, you guessed, the “Oh my God how long I’ve waited for” movie’s premiere. Let’s see:

1. Most importantly and most not-body-related of all: the giant green bushy-flowery-leafy-stuff is NOT part of the background. It is actually on Sarah’s head who, thanks to the giant green bushy-flowery-leafy-stuff, stops being Sarah and begins being Carrie.

2. That is a lot more cleavage than I would have expected from Cynthia Nixon.

3. Sarah is definitely the skinniest one and Kristin appears to be the curviest one. Even if Kim might look bigger in size, Kristin has a more voluptuous shape and a curvier figure overall.

Now one question for you all: take a look at these made-up ladies and decide: Who is the hottest? Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon or Kristin Davis? Let’s hear it!

Sarah Jessica Parker has been skinny all her career long and she is not about to disappoint the skinny lovers any time soon. Kristin Davis has always been curvier, especially in the lower half, to be more exact. In fact, her character on the super-popular Sex and the City admitted in one of the first episodes that she was too self-conscious about her thighs (at the same time, Carrie was mentioning her, umm, nose).

So, there you go: two ladies, one on the skinny side, one on the curvier side. One has some pin thin legs, the other has shapely legs and thicker thighs. One shows more bones all around, the other shows more curves. One has a leaner figure and a gaunter face and the other has a rounder face and a fuller figure. The question is: which one do you prefer? The skinny or the curvy?
