Olivia Wilde recently gave birth to her second child and it seems that the new mom is a little angry these days for having to look at thin models advertising new mom products.
On unrealistic images of thin moms in advertisements:
Real quick just wanna take a break from online (lazy-person) x mas shopping to call bullshit on this ad for a breast-pump bra cuz this lady definitely did not recently birth a child who requires breastmilk to be pumped. Also want to give a quick cyber hug to this model who had to pretend to have recently birthed a milk-fed baby-child when she clearly has spent the last year lifting tiny weights and meditating. (Side note: why does Amazon insert breast-pump ads into every single goddamn search I make? I’m no longer in the market for more pump supplies Amazon! Shut it down!) PS. I own this bra and it’s awesome.

On how she doesn’t fit in the clothes on the set of her new show ‘Vinyl’:
“I’ll walk around with the wardrobe assistant saying, ‘I want that one, I want that one.’ I really have been so inspired by all the wardrobe across the board. I can’t fit into any of the pants because people in the ’70s apparently just didn’t have hips. I guess that’s all the hormones in our food, but I don’t understand it. You pick up the jeans and they’re straight — there’s no butt and there’s no hips. They’re for a straight body.”
On how she can’t follow the ‘boyfriend jeans’ trend either:
“I try to wear the trend, but it always looks terrible, because I have really short legs.”

The story from Us Weekly:
Sophisticated, yes. But old?! Olivia Wilde revealed to Howard Stern on his SiriusXM radio show on Tuesday, March 15, that she was considered too old to play the role of Leonardo DiCaprio’s wife in 2013′s The Wolf of Wall Street.
“The funniest thing I heard recently was, I had heard for a part that I was too sophisticated,” Wilde, 32, revealed to Stern. “I thought, ‘Oh, that sounds nice. I like that feedback. I didn’t get the part but I’m a very sophisticated person.’”
“Sophisticated,” apparently, has an underlying meaning in Hollywood. “Then I found out later they actually said ‘old,’” the Vinyl actress recalled with a laugh. “I had auditioned unsuccessfully for Wolf of Wall Street. That was the one I was too old for.”
The part of Jordan Belfort’s second wife, Naomi Lapaglia, ultimately went to Australian bombshell Margot Robbie, who was praised for her portrayal of the Brooklyn native.
“I thought she kicked so much ass in that movie,” Wilde said of the 25-year-old.
On feeling ‘minimized’ by being too attractive:
“When I was younger, it felt like the main point was that [I was] one of the attractive actresses, and I felt totally minimalized by it, as everyone does. But it’s worn off, in a good way; I’m happy to have grown out of the place where that is the main point being made about me.”
