Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Talks Turning Thirty

turning-thirty - Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Talks Turning Thirty

On turning thirty and the beauty it brings:

Oh I’m excited, I can’t wait to turn 30, I feel so grown up! One of the things I see with women who are older than me is how confident they are within their skin, how they’ve grown and how they have so much experience in life. And I think that becomes truly beautiful.

On the physical changes of turning thirty:

Who looks forward to their boobs sagging and bum going flat?! No one! I hope by that point there will be other things that really matter. You have to build something for yourself from it. Looks go and you fade. Modelling is short lived.

On how she became a lingerie designer:

I wanted something for when I want to take a back seat. There’ll be a brand that I’ll be sitting at the helm of and enjoying. This is really the start of something I see as a long-term thing. I see my career as work. I don’t see it as a lifestyle.

On her minimalist style as a traveling model & actress:

“Recently, I’ve challenged myself, because I come back and forth from LA so frequently, to pack less. The last few times I’ve thought, ‘Ok, this is crazy, I pack so much, I don’t wear any of it, I need to get more organized.’ So I said to myself, ‘I’m only going to pack four colors: navy blue, white, grey and black.’ The same with shoes, the same with accessories, the same with all my clothes.”
