Ashley and Salma definitely don’t share the same age prefix, nor the same clothing style, not to mention that they’ve got pretty different body types. But on these occasions, they went for pretty similar outfits, as in midi grey skirts and white tops. OK, Ashley’s is a bit more trendy than Salma, who went for a rather classic look (excluding the electric blue bag), but it still counts.

Here is a clear example on how clothes, in collaboration with one’s body type, can upgrade or downgrade a look. You might remember that a few days ago, Salma looked less gorgeous than she looks in this green dress at Cannes Festival - and no, her body did not change in a mater of days; her outfit did. Refresh my memory! Now there is no denying that the above dress is totally complimenting Salma’s hourglass shape, thus accentuating the hot spots known as cleavage, waist and hips.

How do you like Salma in this dress?

Salma Hayek has got perfect hourglass shape, let’s start from that. But is she as gorgeous as she can be in the above picture? Umm, nope. Why nope? Simply “thanks” to the clothes. Yes, it’s another one of those: body shape and clothes.

Firstly, Salma’s blouse and large boobs - a “no no”. Why? Because what the blouse does is that it creates the impression of the chest meeting the bellybutton. Next, Salma’s neck is not particularly long and lean - so the neck and the bow at its base is yet another big “no no” to put on the “what not to wear” list. Thirdly, we know that Salma lost the baby weight, but the chosen outfit almost, almost shows the contrary. What are your thoughts?
