Christina Aguilera Lost 80 Pounds, Says Radar

From Radar:

Now that is beautiful! Christina Aguilera is back in the red chair on the Voice looking spectacular with her super slimmed down figure, which two top doctors estimate to is an extreme 80 pound weight loss that may have been achieved by a drastic diet and plastic surgery!

The 32-year-old former Mouseketeer had struggled with her weight for the last few years, weathering difficult criticism including claims that she was pregnant because of extra pounds, but she’s shed the weight from exactly a year ago and is rocking a much slimmer frame lately.

I think she was 165 to 170 and now is a perfect 110 to 115,” Dr. Fred Pescatore, who has not treated Christina, told about the 5’2” star.

The “Dirrty” singer has been happily flaunting her lithe figure and told Redbook magazine that she doesn’t always make hitting the gym a priority.

“If I have to choose between working out and spending time with my son after a hard day, it’s not even a question,” she said in the November issue of the magazine.

One way that Xtina may have been able to slim down is by going under the knife.

“The only surgery she may have had is a breast lift because if you notice, they reduced in size perfectly which could happen but is unlikely,” Dr. Pescatore, nutritionist and author of The Hamptons Diet, told

According to Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Lance Wyatt, who also has not treated Christina, extreme weight loss is possible in under a year.

In 10 months, patients may lose up to as much as 80 lbs or more with aggressive diet, exercise, diet pills, and/or bariatric surgery,” he told “Looks like Christina may have had liposuction of her body and/or tummy tuck for flatter abdomen and more narrow waistline.  Her face seems a little thinner but not much, again probably weight loss by natural or surgical means.”

I think she crash diets when it suits her. I just always get the feeling that she’s not particularly concerned with her health, just about achieving a certain “look”, when need be.

  • Alex

    LOL. That is all.

  • AlexD

“Drastic diet and surgery! Now that is beautiful!” you tell those teenage girls that read your magazine, you tell them!

I do wonder how exactly she does it. It’s got to be some sort of extreme measures because she constantly goes from teeny tiny to overweight and back again. And also, how does she get the will power for such extreme dieting? It amazes me when people fluctuate so much.

  • charlotte

ok so 170-110=80? since when is that..?!

    • AlyssaMoh

its because it’s targeted at girls.
Apparently some people still think women are bad at math..

      *eye roll*

Christina can sing, and that’s all she’s good for. I would not take a page out of her book on anything else – health, fitness, attitude, marital life or mothering.

  • Nonsense – can’t believe people actually read these sorts of things and believe them!
However she lost the weight, she looks much better now than she did – she did not suit being so heavy at all. She’s always rubbed me the wrong way though – that hasn’t changed!

  • M.Jay

NO way she lost 80 pounds…maybe around 35-40. I dont think she was 170 pounds before…she is so short, and sure she was heavy, but would look morbidly obese at that weight.

    • sara

i think you’re right. Speaking as a short girl with a tiny frame, that heavy of a weight would have left her very different looking and shapeless, whereas she was heavy but still had a defined figure. I could be wrong but I think anything over 145 at her heaviest would be a stretch.
It seems to me that people always over estimate petite and short girls weight. I’m 4ft 9, and people always guess me around 110, 25 pounds above my average weight. And if I try to explain to them that 110 would be very unhealthy on my frame they don’t believe me or think I’m lieing. And I’m not super skinny, just average athletic sort of thin I guess, but they can’t associate that small of a weight with a health adult person

    • Laura

I agree with you. I’m 5’2″ and even ten pounds look like a huge difference on such a small frame. I guess she might’ve been about 140 – 150 lbs or something like that but there’s no way she was 170 lbs!

  • Fabeuless

There is no way she lost 80lbs. Christina is tiny-short and small boned. At her heaviest, she was probably 150 lbs tops. They are probably right on about her current weight, but that makes for a loss of 40 pounds.

  • lc

Hahaha!! I thought she “loved her curves”…

  • Tonyee

    Her face is BUSTED
But she looks great, hot body and HEALTHY

Some of these “Doctors” quotes are weird man…lol a ‘perfect 110, 115’?
    -_- mmmk lol.

  • Ka’uilani Kim

She ain’t no 115. The doctors are full of bullshit. She is at least 135. 115 was what she was in “Burlesque.” You can still see her stomach protruding when she is sitting down. Not knocking her, she looks great, but these doctors are full of shit.

    • Soph

Hmm disagree. I reckon she was about 105lbs in Burlesque. She was ultra thin. I reckon she is about 110- 115 now. I’m her exact height and fluctuate at those weights and she looks like I do when I’m on the slimmer side.

      • Ka’uilani Kim

When she first came out, she was what, 100 pounds. In Burlesque she is at least 15 pounds heavier than what she was then. Looking at her now, she is heavier than what she was in Burlesque. So maybe 130. 115 is where I would put her at during the movie. Like I said, you can still see her stomach folds in The Voice. It was absolutely flat in Burlesque.

    • Saige

Are you joking? Your perception of body weight must be extremely distorted. At 5’1″ Christina is likely 110-115 lbs, nowhere near 135 which is overweight at her height. And you’re morbidly obese but claiming you don’t look obese while criticizing Xtina’s figure? Very odd perception of body size you have.

      • Ka’uilani Kim

I do not have an odd perception of body size. And I am not morbidly obese. Maybe you ought to look that up before you call someone that. Unless you know me personally, shut your piehole. I am fat, I give you that, I recently had a 9 and a half pound baby, but I am not obese. STFU and get to know what the phrase means before you name call. Can I just not be surrounded by asinine people?

And I am not critcising her weight. Merely thinking the doctors are guessing wrong. I think this is perfect for her. I love her at this size, so I don’t know what your problem is. As I said, Can I not be surrounded by asinine people?

        • Saige

Normally I wouldn’t be so mean but since you’re calling me asinine I won’t hold back – you’re 175 lbs at just 5 ft, that is extremely obese, like 50 lbs overweight, and you’re in denial. I’m guessing that when the doctors tell you you’re morbidly obese you call them asinine too. No wonder 1 out of 3 Americans are obese now, obesity has become so normal that morbidly obese people are in denial about it.

And Christina is massive in the ‘before’ picture. She lost at least 40-50 lbs, maybe surgery, who knows?

          • Ka’uilani Kim

You’re in denial of how stupid you are. Like I said, unless you have seen me in person, or even a picture, zip your lip. I am more muscle mass than fat.

          • Saige

You don’t know my IQ so you can’t determine how smart I am. But I know your height/weight so it’s easy to determine that you’re obese. No surprise your baby came out t 9.5 lbs, because obese women have big children.

Male bodybuilders can have an extreme BMI due to a ton of muscle, but women lack testosterone to become extremely muscular like male bodybuilders.

Feel free to post a pic of your body if I’m wrong. But I know you won’t, it’s easier to make ad hominem attacks like calling me stupid, than to acknowledge the truth. Obesity has become normalized in Western culture.

But it’s not my job to lecture you so I’ll shut my ‘piehole’ now as you said (funny how you refer to a ‘mouth’ as simply a hole for dessert, interesting mindset you have about food).

          • Ka’uilani Kim

Actually, your IQ does not equate intelligence, so, yeah, I can determine how smart you are, especially with the information posted in your last comment. I am overweight BECAUSE of the baby, not before, and his father is a strapping 6 foot African-American man, so that is why he was nearly ten pounds at birth. My best friend is 98 pounds soaking wet, and she also gave birth to a 10 pound baby, so your logic fails. There are women who have more testosterone than other women, making them more muscular b nature, and getting into gymnastics and weight training will add more muscle mass. Height and weight do not determine an accurate BMI so again, you’re not very smart. I laugh at people who try to be witty. I’m merely dumbing down so that you can understand better. I know you’re going to reply to this, and that’s fine, but my replies end here. Done feeding the troll.
