Breasts do not harm children. It’s just another part of a body for them: a part that helped them grow and a sign of the differences between men and women.

Typical American views… Unfortunately, we’ve become so obsessed with what is wrong, we’ve become ridiculous and not understanding. In most European countries it is very common to see women walk around topless on the beach, sometimes even nude. It is not sexual, guys do not drool staring at them (maybe the tourists), it is not to show off the goods. Stop thinking that it’s a bad influence, it’s not. It’s how you raise your child that determines how they become. Frick man, my mom used to walk around topless at the beach when I was younger, I personally don’t do it because I’m not confident in my body, but I never once thought it was trashy, slutty, disgusting, a bad influence, or w/e makes you think nudity is so wrong.
You are so right. In certain non fashionable resorts – where i personally go – nudity on the beach it typical. Ok, i wear a bathing suit b/c that’s how i feel comfortable, but for one second it does not bother me that others choose something else. And just like you, as a kid at the beach there were plenty of topless ladies. It really did not poke my eyes out or anything else and b/c my parents didn’t say OMG THAT IS WRONG AND EVIL!!!! i saw it as a natural choice of those women.
wow…you are ignorant…have you ever lived in a Muslim majority country, Saudi Arabia in particular? While women have less rights there, most Westerners who have lived there would agree that Saudi Arabia is a much safer place to live than most countries. An American family I know who worked there, had their kids raised there even feared for the safety of their children once they had to return to the US. In Saudi Arabia dating is not allowed, nightclubs are non-existent and alcohol is prohibited, so meeting men is not easy, and women usually go out accompanied by family members, hence rape is rare, though it still does occur (usually between young couples who date in secret), I won’t deny that. There are just no date rapes and stuff like that. No coutry is perfect, and every nation has its up sides and down sides. For all you know, most Saudi women wouldn’t trade the lifestyle they have for a Western one even if they could do with more rights, just like most Western women would never give up their lifestyles even with problems they have, and regardless of the flaws seen in these two societies.
It is restricted to the beach and when they are older, they can make their own choices as to whether they will follow their parents’ examples or not. Neither choice is wrong.
Also, as Erin said, it’s not sexual. Some people think that walking around revealing skin is going to get you raped, but actually the countries with the highest number of rapes in the world are Muslim countries where many women walk around covered from head to toe!

Yes, the data is only reported rapes, but still you have to provide support for such a statement. It is prejudice and insulting.

Actually, in places where you say the rapes are below the UK and such places, well…. most of the time women can’t report a rape without a witness to prove that it happened. Hello? The witness to the rape would be the one of the ones raping them, and they won’t report themselves.
Plus, many women in those countries don’t have our rights and freedoms and don’t have equal rights, if they went to the cops or court, their word word would hold no threat against a mans. So, the courts don’t count the rapes. It’s the fact that women’s rights are not the same as in the America’s and many parts of Europe and Australia.
Please, read some books and don’t rely on statistics. You do know that surveys and polls and statistics are NEVER accurate, right? They are skewed. I hope that isn’t your only source to prove your point. I actually read books to get my information, i don’t rely on media-fed statistics. Please, read a book or two. Internet sources don’t work for me either.
