Sandra Bullock Brings the Quote of the Day

She isn’t necessarily talking about body or beauty-related stuff, but I think it applies in all fields and it’s a great message:
“Don’t change, be who you are. Society is really strong in their opinions so I made peace with the fact that the things I thought were weaknesses or flaws were just me.
Uniqueness is something my mother pounded it into me,” Bullock recently told Tarts. “She said be unique and I didn’t understand it then, now I look at it and I go I wouldn’t want to be like anyone else and I know I’m off. I had a lisp as a child, it’s all these things that made me different and I tried to squelch and then once I realized I had squelched them I didn’t feel like myself anymore.”

I like her. She donates A LOT of her money and even all of her recent pay check to charity and didn’t feel the need to scream it from the roof tops. And thank goodness she isn’t talking endlessly about her body!!
agree with Bryony. I love her.
Sandra Bullock would totally be my woman-crush if I were twenty years older. (How unbelievable is it that she’s 5 years away from 50?!?!)
Not to mention that I also idolize her because she got to fall naked of Ryan Reynolds . . . Not that’s something to strive for. lol
Anyways, I think she really often has great things to say. (And great movies to be in – Miss Congeniality, anyone?)
I just LOVE the juxtaposition of this lovely lady…
in front of her PHOTOSHOPPED to hell image of her body that’s 5 inches taller, 5 inches smaller in the hip, legs that are half in diameter, , curves that are reduces…
…actually strike that, of the image of her face plastered on someone else’s body.
I really like her, she is not like other Hollywood women, that makes her very sympathic..
