A Curvier & Softer-Looking Gisele from a While Back
To those of you who think that Gisele didn’t lose any weight… well here’s a hot & sexy Gisele in a shoot from the time when she was still working for Victoria’s Secret (so a few years ago). And:
* her shoulders were not angular / bony at all here, but they are now.
* she had a softer look all over
* even her face was slightly fuller
* her arms are slightly meatier, now they’re skinnier
* her bust seemed bigger
* her lower abdomen area (mainly rear) is much thinner now (in 2009) than it was when these pics were taken
* she was clearly thin here as well, but she was also curvier.

She’s deff. lost weight, but its important to remember that vs i known for making their models look alot softer. Its especially visible in pictures of Gisele, Marisa, Alessandra and doutzen.

I know, but these photos are offical behind the scenes photos and they are always retouched as well. Its crazy. But she actually lost alot of weight. I wonder why, because its not like she weren’t being booked for things. At that time and after she was prob. on her heighest in her career.
She did lose weight. Overall while she wasn’t over weight here, she looks better and more toned in today’s shots. She worked hard for her new look and looks great.

In the pictures in this particular article, I agree, she does look a nice and normal weight. But in her more recent pictures(especially the candids) I think she looks underweight.
I’m not a fan of her, but I must admit she looks insanily gorgeous here! Too bad she looks different right now…
Am I being retarded in thinking she looks heavier than normal, or at least what I expect to see? I mean she looks gorgeous with an amazing figure, but she looks a lot more “normal” than I expected… i.e I could imagine someone walking down the street could have similar dimensions.

yea- i think she does look ‘normal’ like someone of fthe street would look similar and i think it looks great and refreshing and sexy!!! look at the 5th pic- that looks still thin- but curvy- like softness in the arms etc rather than 2 bones, with bones in the chest and 2 biog boobs plonked on top…it looks like everythin fits how it should and she actually looks HOT in my opinion! usually gieselle does NOTHIN for me…but here…WOAH

She looks better here, but then again don’t most people look better in there younger days (excluding the lucky ones who age beautifully)? While she looks so youthful, soft, and slightly curvier here I think she’d look better with a little more muscle definition in the stomach area.
I don’t think she looks much different. She also looks “softer” in the Calzedonia ads you showed a while back! The only difference I can see is her muscle tone. When you look at pictures of her at the beginning of her career you can see that she was even skinnier (impossibly skinny legs) but without much muscle definition and with a higher body fat percentage.

Well, I think she looks perfectly fine at this (clearly) slightly higher weight, and I happen to think she looks fine skinnier too. I honestly think that PART of the reason she left VS (other than the $$$ situations) was that they wanted her to stay this size, and she wanted to be thinner. When that whole situation came out with the ana model dying, and they set a “BMI” limit for models, she was NOT a fan of being told to stay at a certain weight. Also I think the trend is for the VS models to have a TINY LITTLE bit of curve (they still are not “CURVY”) and Giselle just wasn’t a fan. I can definitely picture her pissed at being told to do ANYTHING. I find Miranda Kerr gorgeous and lovely, but a bit thin for the VS type.

Giselle’s figure to me is a combo of boyish and hourglass. She has no waistline or hips but she’s got decent boobs and a round bum for her frame.

I like these pics of her. She looks softer and more feminine. To me, she’s a little more masculine looking these days and I don’t care for that.
Why on earth would she choose to look the way she does nowadays over this look? She became the world’s #1 model when she looked like this for a reason! She certainly shouldn’t be #1 nowadays considering how washed out she looks..
She looks alot softer than now, But then again she suits how she looks now, and back then.

She looks better with a little more meat on. Here she was fit, but still very slim. Now she is starting to blend in with the other models a bit..
