Angelina and her daughters Shiloh and Zahara were spotted while going on a shopping spree in France this morning… and they also stopped by our little site.
Shiloh’s outfit looks like… fun (like she dressed herself) and Angelina is loyal to black, of course.

She doesn’t look healthier, it’s just the pictures we’ve been seeing of her looking skeleton-y have been photoshopped or were from certain angles to make her look anorexic so they have a story.

As some other poster on this site said, she has a rib cage abnormality that causes her collar bones to stick out…they did when she was her heaviest and they stick out now. It’s just now with her small frame she looks thinner, but if you ignore her collar bones she’s fine.

Thats why angelina gets her hair done just so, so that it looks like she rolled out of bed with it looking like that, when in reality it took blow drying straight and then adding waves. thats why they always have a certain look about them.

Her kids are adorable. And don’t be surprised if Shiloh picks her own outfits. My son is the same age and he likes to wear funny outfits. They’re children, let them have their fun!

I think she’s really beautiful like that, it’s just a shame that being that thin is the result of starvation than her natural shape … she looks like she’s gained some weight anyway.

“Scary skinny?” To me she looks to be about a size 2, maybe a size 4. Alessandra Ambrosio calls herself a size 4 (although I think she’s a size 2), and Angelina is definitely bigger than her. I wouldn’t call that “scary skinny.”
To me, scary skinny is a size 0 or 00, and Angelina is definitely not a size 0. But to each their own, and you might think a size 2 is scary thin and that’s just a difference of opinion. It’s just, most size 2’s are still on the bottom end of normal BMI, unless the person is very tall. I also don’t think she starves herself to be thin…if anything, it’s stress or aging.
i think scary skinny isnt so much about sizes, but about looks. while others look slender with size 2, angelina looks gaunt.
I agree. Looking frighteningly thin is more to do with proportions. A 6′0″ woman is going to look anorexic as a size 0, but if you have a 4′11″ woman at the same size, she will probably look average.
Yep, and it’s not only the height, but the frame also (big vs. small bones). Big bones stick out more easily and create a sceletonish look. However i don’t think Angie looks too bad here, given how much speculation there’s been about her being on a crazy diet. She looks skinny but normal.
I’m 4′11″ and I disagree. I look average at a size 4, which is about 98 lbs for me. To be a size 0, I have to weigh 80 lbs. That is drastically underweight, even for someone as short as me.
Thank you for writing that. I was going to but decided to ignore the comment regarding sizing. It’s the person and their build, not size. Some people look great with a smaller size and some look sick and unhealthy. It depends on the person’s body type and overall size.
We must all b e blind, because she looks great !!! I am surprised you did not say what small fingers she has….. If you would have to lose 25 lbs to be her size, then honey…. you ain’t slim, you are a very average size 6.
DT, I’m afraid average size is 14,not 6…I agree that it is too much to say she ’s really scary skinny, but I don’t think you could say she looks as great as she used to a few years ago(tomb raider days)!

The average size in America IS a size 14, but the average person in America is also overweight, which pulls the average up higher than it should be. The average healthy size and the average size in the world is a size 6.
But you are definitely right though. She was hot as hell in her Tomb Raider days. But she’s not “scary skinny” or “starving herself” either as people here are claiming, at least in my opinion.
The average size in the world is not 6. It’s more like an 8 or a ten. It is just that for the average height, this is probably the healthiest size;it doesn’t mean that most ppl of the average height are a size six.
I got that average size from an article in Health magazine. You have to remember that when you say the average size in the world, you include the overweight nations like America, and the underweight nations like countries in Africa. That’s the only way to get a true average. It wouldn’t make sense to count the overweight nations and the average nations, but not the underweight nations, because then you’re getting a skewed average not the real average.
You’re right it doesn’t mean that SOME ppl of average height are a size 6, but it means MOST are and should be, save exceptions (muscle mass due to genes or training, different bone structures, people with thyroid disorders…those people fall on the outliers of the normal distribution). When you take a true average, you CAN generalize to the majority, that’s the point of taking the average in the first place. It’s just, you can’t take an average in America or Japan and then generalize to the entire world…only to the population which you measured.
And the average height in the world is about a 5′7 or 5′8 for women I believe. A size 6 on that frame would probably be smack dab in the middle BMI of the healthy range. (which is why they said that the healthiest size for the average height is a size 6). That’s how BMI’s were designed. Then they give a range of course, because not everybody can be a size 6, (e.g. healthy range can be size 4-8 on 5′7 height). It’s just for the actual BMI they used weight instead of height but same principle.
Yep, there’s nothing wrong with being a 6! What matters is if a person takes care of themselves.
Size 14 is pretty big boned, and that is OK if that is your shape. But if you are just plain heavy on a 6 frame, then your diet is out of control, or if it is health… perhaps then it may be out of your control.
Most 14s I have seen are just eating too many twinkies !

I think people are only saying she looks fine because she has boobs. Take away the boobs and you have one freaky looking creature. That’s how I looked after I’d had my jaw wired shut for 6 weeks. And I’m not hefty to begin with!

Besides, there’s a difference between a size 2 at 5′2 and a size 2 at 5′9 or whatever she is. I’ve seen her look far better and healthier at heavier weights, so it’s not like this weight is “natural” for her. Like in Mr & Mrs Smith, for example. She was hot as hell in that movie.
She looks like a size 2 to me at her height. Following your logic, how do you know this weight is not natural for her, are you her doctor? Perhaps all these years she has been packing on muscle mass to look bigger, or perhaps her body changed as bodies do with age, and instead of gaining weight she lost some which happens to some women. Or perhaps she IS starving herself.
I’ll agree that she looked much better in her Mr. and Mrs. Smith days, but you calling me anorexic because I think she looks fine is ridiculous. That’s like me calling you fat and jealous because you DON’T think she looks fine. Notice I didn’t comment on the rest of your opinion, because I don’t care, it’s your opinion and you have a right to it. But don’t go around calling people who have a different opinion than you anorexic and then complain whenever you get called fat or jealous.
I think the poster was referring to the anorexics who visit this site, and there are some. I don’t think this post was directed at you, but maybe I’m wrong.
Like Alysa’s post states below, AJ is an apple and therefore carries her weight in her midsection. In order for her not to have a tummy, she has to be quite thin and her arms and legs get very thin and veiny. I liked her Tomb Raider days.
I don’t think it was directed at me personally, I think it was directed at all the people who said that they liked how Angelina Jolie looked, judging by the context and the poster’s response.
Nevertheless, it was very insulting. Anorexics visit this site but it’s unfair to say that anybody who likes Angelina’s figure, which isn’t really that extreme, is anorexic. Also, anorexia is not something that should be “laughable,” it’s a serious issue. I’m sure the poster understood that, and I’m sure they intended to use the word anorexic as nothing more than an insult much like people come on here and call people fat and jealous. But it’s not right regardless.
A BMI of 17.4 fits the weight criteria for anorexia nervosa. At a BMI of 17.4, I am a size 2.

oh god… she’s not even anorexic looking. she’s an apple shape and if she were to gain enough weight so her legs and arms look a little fuller, her tummy would have a pudge.. which she probably doesn’t want. if you look at pictures of her from when she weighed more that aren’t photoshopped she had a tummy. i’m sure she just doesn’t want one again… WHO CARES
i doubt shes starving herself, shes a busy women got other things on her mind than tryin to be the thinnest women in the media. Leave that to tori spelling and victoria beckham.
I absolutely agree! She’s the working mother of six children under the age of ten. Whether or not she has a nanny, that’s a lot of time and energy committed before she even takes on a movie. I’d be surprised if she were “starving herself” as she doesn’t really seem to give two hoots about glamour in her personal life (which is not an insult, I promise).
She is thin, but not as thin as she has been in the past or as many, many others in Hollyweird.

Of course it does. If she’s eating a balanced diet and is still thin, how can you say that it’s unhealthy without being her doctor? If she is starving herself, then you can say that it’s unhealthy. And if she’s eating cheeseburgers but still that weight, you can say either she has one crazy metabolism or is unhealthy.
I think all of us agree that she is thinner. It’s just we disagree on why she is thin (some people think she is starving herself for Hollywood, others think it’s a natural weight decline, and others think it’s stress) Like, you say that it’s unhealthy. But I don’t think so, she still looks healthy to me. Now if I heard she is starving herself, I would agree with you. But I don’t think she is nor does she look like she is starving herself so (shrug)
