The 93 year old lady who lives across the street has the exact same legs (and therefore she walks with a deambulator), hugh!

    • klara

haha 😀 true. modelesque legs (and shapes) often seem awkwardly thin, when not set in scene on a catwalk or photoshot – also when standing between “normal” people they often look somewhat stretched, towering everbody despite having the same weight as everybody else.
i like her legs and i love her shoes.

    • Lauren

haha agreed. she looks like a tall pre-pubescent child. if you want to be a woman BE A WOMAN. we’re supposed to be DIFFERENT to men, curves and all that!

      enough skinny girls, its over.

      • lena

enough skinny girls? seriously? women are already different from men. We have different bodies, just because girls are thin doesn’t mean they are similar to men. Its very sad that you think that way. Miranda Kerr just may be naturally skinny, as she had said several times in many of her interviews…

        • Sharen

well said, though her legs are thin they look good on her because she’s naturally that way, she’s not as sexy as other Victoria’s Secret models but she’s still a beautiful woman (yes, woman, not child).

        • Rosie

Enough skinny girls? Enough overweight, unhealthy girls in my opinion! It’s absurd how people are so judgmental over the fashion industry. I have seen some anorexic girls before, such as models for Valentino. That’s what I think is taking thin too far. But Victoria’s Secret has some of the healthiest most beautiful women and anyone saying they are “way too skinny” obviously suffer from self-esteem issues.
          Miranda looks great!

      • Casey

Lauren, what is the definition of a woman? I would really like to know, because until now, I thought I looked like a woman, past my puberty. But since I am thin, despite having hips and breasts (albeit small), I must look like a child. I guess I was under the delusion that women came in a variety of shapes and sizes. My mistake.

Also, I’m assuming that you are not thin. I think you would know what it feels like to be told that you are undesirable to men. Why would you do that to other people? I don’t like being told that I’m not desirable to men as much as you or anyone else.

    • Martine

Well, I would do anything to have legs like that. I understand why people like Sophie Monk try to wear heels and short hemlines. I have a build like that, and lovely long legs like hers make me want to cry. Everything looks graceful when your legs and neck are long. Laugh all you want but the advantage is hers. Thats why she makes that kind of money.

  • Rosita

Miranda’s lost some weight. I dont’t see how they even found clothes that fit her. David Jone’s clothes (what she is promoting here) are too big for me and im not quite as slim as her. But she does look like a doll.

    • Hayley

David Jones doesn’t make clothes they stocks brands, both local and international, such as sass and bide, bec and bridge, zimmerman, collette dinnigan, burberry, armani etc. and you are saying none of these fit you? This makes no sense.

  • Serafiina

She really is like a doll! Why, oh why, my legs are short?!

  • skirmute

She looks amazing… But her legs could be a bit fuller.

    • nicole

how do you make your legs fuller? im an apple shape and i need to know this.

  • Jenna

I don’t really understand why people love her face and body so much. Her face looks chubby and her body looks far too thin. There are many more stunning models out there that aren’t as famous as her.

    • michelle

I agree. I don’t get what the big deal is about her. There are alot more prettier girls out there with more meat on their bones.

      • sassy

I think it is because she looks friendly and approachable? I like her. . . but hey, to each his or her own!

    • I agree as well

      Her legs are sticks
Not that I hate thin figures, but a skinny figure with gisele, adriana and doutzen look good

this legs looks a bit disturbing to -me-
and she looks cute, but I think cute in an average way

anyways I dont really like a bit because of the trashy clothing she mostly wears to classy events

      • toni

        friendly and approachable?

this girl is so fake and a liar. if one is following the career of this girl for quite some time now, you’ll know why i made these claims!

        • anya

I can’t stand her either. And honestly her career is limited to vs. She will never be Gisele and others.

  • anya

She is unattractive, way to skinny and looks greasy.

  • Kristy

God I think she looks amazing. Her legs are incredible.

  • anna

I’m not a fun of chicken legs but come on gril looks fab!so effortlesly beautiful and fresh:)

  • Uma

How tall is she anyway? I have the feeling her legs are just as long as i am tall :)) But too skinny, i don’t know, skinny ruler. But a great figure for a model, i must admit.

    • skirmute

She’s not very tall, I’d say she should be considered even too short for a model, she’s about 5’9 ft or even less (174 cm). But yes, her legs look really long.

      • anna

174cm, are you sure?Than she is like 45kg?!How much you reckon she weights?

        • skirmute

Yep, she is like 45 kg. I can compare herself to me, I’m the same height and my weight is 48. She looks more skinny than me.

          • keena

what??? i’m 5’3(160 cm) and when i was 45kg(99lbs) many of my friends/family said i looked alarmingly thin, like borderline anorexic. i know many 5’3 girls who weigh 100 pounds and it looks fine if you’re small boned, but any under that and it will quickly look gaunt and grandmaish. 174cm and 45kg, that’s just crazy. go’s to show u def. CAN’T use this mecanic calculating system to compare weights between dif.

          • lena

On google, it says she’s about 130lbs? Her height is 5’9.

      • NOBODY

SHE IS NOT THE ONLY MODEL 5’9..IN FORD AGENCY YOU HAVE TO BE 5’9-5’11 TO BE A MODEL,NO LESS,NO MORE..THAT IS IT..IF SHE IS 5’9 AND THEY ACCEPET THAT AS TALL,THAT IS MEANS ITS TALL…ONLY ANA BEATRIZ IS 182 CM,OTHER MODEL ARE BETWEEN 175-180CM,ITS MEANS PEFECT..IF YOU HAVE BUIDING HEIGH THAT NO MEANS THE NORMAL HEIGH IS SHORT!

  • Aha-Aha

    @Versus

I don’t mean to offend you, but how can you be sure that most people prefer Miranda compared to the other VS angels/models?

For me, i’ll prefer Doutzen’s body and face anytime. Besides, most designers and companies prefer Doutzen than a lot of other models or VS models as proven by her existing big contracts and ads!

    • Versus

I never said “most”, I said “many”, there’s a big difference. Just like many people like Alessandra. And many people like Adriana… or Doutzen.
By the way, my favorite VS model is Doutzen as well, I’ve said that in an earlier post 🙂

      • Aha-Aha

I’m not trying to argue with you, but the word ‘many’ that you used seems like the word ‘most’ in general. Anyways, it’s all been explained.

        • Kae

“many” and “most” mean two different things. “many” refers to a lot, whereas “most” means the majority. Versus is acknowledging that many people are interested in this model, not the majority. Does that help?

      • Jenna

Yeah Doutzen is stunning and classy!

        • toni

And Doutzen doesn’t need any lies, rumors, or famous/rich boyfriend to be recognized or to be successful! I really like that girl as well.

          • me too!

Doutzen is stunning and seems a kind humble girl to me

  • mari

Beautiful as always. Wish I had her body:(

    • Miranda

Me, too! Anyone saying she’s too thin or unattractive is nuts, she’s adorable. And if anyone thinks she’s too thin, they obviously don’t pay attention to the world of fashion and modeling. This girl looks healthy compared to most models.

      • anonymous

Or maybe those of us that thinks she’s too thin doesn’t use the fashion/modeling industry as our ruler for what we consider to be desirable. Sure, she may be healthy when compared to other models(IMO, not really, especially when I think of Bar Rafaeli or Doutzen K., now those are two nice and healthy looking models), but how is she looking health wise when compared to normal, healthy, non-model women?

        • michelle

          Exactly anonymous!

        • prada

I couldn’t see much difference between this girl and those bordeline anorexic runway models! And i don’t think this girl is telling the truth when she talked about her regular workout with a trainer cause otherwise some muscle definition will be visible especially on the arms and legs. This body figure is the result of eating less, not eating healthy or regular exercise.

          • Sharen

This body figure is the result of genes, not eating less, she obviously just has thin bones..

        • Miranda

I think she looks great compared to most normal, “healthy” people. She’s prettier than the average woman, and she’s not sickly skinny in any way. So if I were to compare her to a “normal” woman it wouldn’t be fair, she’s much more attractive.

          • anonymous

When I said healthy, I really meant healthy, it wasn’t any kind of euphemism at all. I find her pretty, there’s no denying that, but I can deny that she is “healthy skinny”. She does not look healthy to me, maybe if she were to put on about 10-15 lbs., she would look a hell of a lot better. I find the “average” women out there much more easy on the eyes than her current figure.

          • Uma

Wow, so my friends and all the people i know are really stupid and retards calling me more atractive than models. How can they dare say such a thing, i am only a normal woman. I am not a model, therefore i most be ugly. And all the other girls here. Stop being such an ignorant for a chance, will you? May get you some good things in life.

          • Miranda

Your reaction to my comment alone tells me that you’re not prettier than a model, you’re acting like you’re about to cry or sh*t your pants. I said, and I quote, “I think she looks great compared to most normal, “healthy people”. Where in that sentence did I say that if you’re not a model you can’t be pretty? Learn to f***ing read. Models ARE prettier than the average woman, that’s why they’re models, dumbass! So just accept that your friends are lying to you, sweetie. If you were SO pretty like you claim you are, my comment wouldn’t even phase you. So you “stop being ignorant for a chance” (whatever the hell that’s supposed to mean, I guess grammar isn’t your strength?)

          • anonymous

Miranda, models are NOT picked for being pretty, they are picked for how the clothes will “hang” on them. There are quite a few models out there that are not prettier than non-model women(Giselle comes to mind), they are just hyped up to be “pretty” only because they are in an “exclusive” job. Now granted, when it comes to lingerie and swimsuit models, they do tend to be picked for a more pleasing facial appearance, but that doesn’t mean they are above average in their looks, they just happen to be lucky in getting the job. I’ve seen quite a few “average” women out there that I would place above Miranda in looks. Miranda has a cherubish face, I don’t find that particularly attractive on a grown woman.

          • Miranda

“Anonymous”, I’m gonna save your time and mine by informing you that I don’t give two f*cks about your opinion, it’s as worthless as dog shit. So you can stop writing to me now. 🙂

          • DT

Wow Miranda… you are a bit ” in your face”… but I love your spunk… plus I basically agree with you. Go Girl !!!!!!

          • Miranda

            Thanks, DT! lol
I’m really not a mean person, it’s just these annoying bitches always want to start an argument with me, and I’m good at insulting people.

          • Ben

So you’re proud of “being good at insulting people” huh?
I feel so sorry for you, i’m sure your mother feels the same, she must be regretting that she didn’t have an abortion, poor lass.

          • candace

Miranda- the only bitch posting here is you “sweetheart.” To say that someone’s friends are lying to them
Because they are not as pretty as a model is insane! You should be institutionalized. Being a bitch and insulting people for the hell of it makes you ugly alone.
You are rude, brash and inconsiderate. Most models are picked fo how clothes fit on them. They are even known to be awkward and lanky.
Victoria’s Secret models are usually more one dimensional (excluding a few of them) because they are usually to “commercial
for high end and haute courtue. I have worked in the fashion industry for 2 years now after graduating from Parsons in NYC. Google it if you’re unfamiliar
which I assume you might be. I majored in fashion merchandising and have worked fashion shows for many designers it is an
amazing experience and a real “eye opener” which is what you are in dire need for. Perhaps therapy would
help so you can address what makes you feel the need to attack people who disagree with you and
Call them “bitches.” Anyone who confuses your “immaturity” for “spunk,” needs a wake up call you.
I can’t stand people who act like they’re in grade school. Don’t get it twisted either, I’ve often been asked if I was one of the models, but
that is not my passion, fashion is. I know I’m beautiful inside and out. With how you act, you are definitely not pretty on the inside which makes
            you and ugly person. Period.

      • Kae

I personally don’t consider the fashion world to be relevant. I don’t find women who look like hangers or ironing boards to be attractive so I pay little attention to that industry.

I think this girl is cute. She has a pretty face. That’s about it. She has nice legs in certain outfits, sometimes she looks downright awkward. And no it’s not jealousy, she’s just not my type. I’m pretty damn secure with myself and my body. And I’m pretty sure I’m not nuts:)

        • Miranda

Why are you telling me this again?

          • Shelly

Your a bitch Miranda…and probably an ugly one at that.

          • Miranda

Any why would you assume I’m ugly? I know it’s not because I’m a bitch, plenty of beautiful women are bitches, so why would you assume I’m ugly? I’m obviously not as insecure as you. I’m betting you’re the one whose face looks like an asshole, why else would you feel the need to insult the appearance of someone you’ve never seen? Insecurity. And yes, I am a bitch. I don’t try to hide being a bitch. So if I hurt your little feelings with something I say, well then you can eat sh*t. 🙂

          • DT

Miranda… look up a little for my comments to you !!

          • Shelly

HAHAHA..this is coming from someone who just told Uma that her friends are lying to her when they tell her she is pretty and you have never seen what Uma looks like. LOL Stop contradicting yourself, because It’s starting to make you look like the idiot that you truly are. Sounds like you are a lonely depressed person with such low self esteem that you have no choice but to be a bitch to people on here. Don’t blame us for hating what you see in the mirror. Blame your parents. LOL Don’t worry maybe a man will feel sorry enough to actually date you one day.

          • Kae

            Miranda,
I wasn’t rude to you at all. I was just saying that I use the fashion world as a measure of beauty. I wasn’t putting you down. But judging by your responses to myself and others, you need some special attention. Why else would you be acting in such a manner?

My male friends were talking about bitchy women and they came to one conclusion: throw them away like a piece of garbage because in the end, their negativity will just weigh you down. If you don’t agree with their agenda, they stomp their feet and scream like children. They are victims of the princess syndrome.

          • Miranda

Ugh, you are so lame. I said that Uma’s obviously not as pretty as she thinks because her reaction to my comment, if she were really all that pretty than my comment wouldn’t have gotten under her skin so much. YOU, on the other hand, come out of nowhere saying i’m ugly, giving no worthwhile reason for why you believe that. If I were “ugly” with a “low self-esteem” I’d be behaving the way you are, like a petulant little child who lashes out at people through a computer screen. I wasn’t saying anything to you, and you took it upon yourself to attack me. That says a lot about your character, it sounds as if you were just describing yourself.

You can assume i’m ugly, and lonely all you want, it doesn’t phase me. You’re a silly bitch on the internet who knows nothing about me, and I don’t take the internet as seriously as you obviously do. Get a life.

          • Miranda

Kae, choke on my nonexistant c*ck. And with the way you’ve picked fights with me in the past, it’s very ignorant of you to assume i’d be nice to you. I don’t care about what your little guy friends say about bitchy women, I have been in a relationship with my boyfriend for 3 years and my boyfriend is my best friend. I’m not mean to people who don’t give me a reason to be mean, you won’t be able to find a single post on here where I’ve attacked another commenter without being attacked first, so shut the f*** up with your “you’re so meaaan” nonesense.

          • Shelly

Miranda…Oh how I feel sorry for your poor boyfriend. If he’s smart he will run as fast as he can away from your pathetic ass. Unlike you i have a life so this will be my last comment. Respond if you want…which you probably will because your life sucks and this is probably all you have going for you. You better keep an eye on your “boyfriend” he just may be tired of dating scumbags like you. Remember that he is supposed to be your boyfriend and NOT your therapist…seek help for your low self esteem. Give your boyfriend my condolences.

  • jo

    Looks great! Love her legs.

  • michelle

She has the same size legs as my 12 year old neice. Those are legs for kids not adults..lol

    • toni

I agree with you… sometimes it’s disgusting to look at!

      • meea

i propably had that kind of legs when i was 8…. though shorter so they didn’t look weird, and no, i’m not a fat person 🙂

    • i disagree.

  • Kelli

I love reading through these comments! LOL! I kinda agree w/ everyone. Can’t make up my mind. At first, I thought she looked long, lean and badly dressed but then the comments about how her thin legs under that skirt made her look like an old lady made me laugh. I can totally see that! Dunno, maybe a little too thin…but she does look a LOT taller though w/ those chicken legs 😀

    • michelle

      LOL!

  • Monique

I showed these pictures and asked today – just for confirmation – all my male office colleagues, my brother, husband and so on.

All of them – not even one with exception – said ” perfect legs”

    • anya

Good for them that they like an adult woman with a 12 year old girls body.

      • Kristy

My sister is 12, and last time I checked, she didn’t have the legs of a Victoria’s Secret Model.

        • anya

          Good for her

        • michelle

most victoria secret models have better looking legs. Shapelier, fuller, healthier looking legs. Not bony chicken legs. Legs of a girl who hasn’t hit puberty yet. Hopefully she realizes how horrible this look is and allows herself to eat at least a meal a day.

          • Miranda

            someone seems awfully jealous.

          • Michelle

Of Charleze Theron? Yeah..Eva Mendez? Yeah…. Jessica Biel? Yeah… Kate Hudson?… Yeah….Of Miranda Kerr? Nahhh but thanks for asking. LOL 🙂

      • Ye I thought most males liked fuller bodies

        • michelle

          most men do Toulalan.

          • Kristy

I hate this kind of attitude. As far as I’m aware men like all shapes, sizes etc etc. Why does a woman need to be “fuller” to be attractive, we aren’t all blessed with hour glass figures, and full hips and breasts. And actually I wouldn’t want that. Gees I hope men find me attractive!!

      • Monique

You do realize you have a real issue with the age of 12, as you mentioned it with negative ring to it quite a few times. Hope in time you’ll get over it.

And by the way, you’re supposed to comment on the picture, not on my opinion.

        • Monique

          I meant anya

        • anya

sweetheart, when saying she looks like a 12 year old, is as if I would said she has the body of a 10 year old, a 8 year old or a boy if you like.
And by the way do you know this is a place where we comment on each other and pictures, or can’t you read.
And don’t take you low selfesteem or your low thoughts of yourself out on others, as its quite clear that you are in possesion of legs like Mirandas and you feel the need to say that its your boyfriend, friends and so on who thinks she has the perfect legs. Get over yourself.

          • Monique

Boy you have some serious issues…..this is def the last time I’m gonna react to you….you sound quite like one of those gals needing to prove themselves through a fight…..

            Good day

      • how retarded. always got something negative to say. i wonder what you look like. there’s nothing 12 year old about miranda.

    • Kristy

Yeah that’s what my boyfriend said too lol when I showed him out of “interest”. I’m sure you’ll get a load of bitchy comments now, “omg, who cares what men think, jees!” but I think it’s interesting to compare male and female opinion.

      • Kae

I agree, I love to hear both male and female opinion as well. And I seriously doubt that women don’t care what men think. I think the vast majority of women care what men think, even if they say they don’t. I ask my husband’s opinion about other women ALL the time! It’s fun!

    • Leanna

I’m surprised by that actually. I understand many men like long slender legs, but her legs are particularly skinny with no real shape to them. Thought shape and muscle tone was just as important as length or size.

    • Instant

My husband’s comment would be “Needs to gain weight, and her boobs aren’t big enough”. I don’t know too many men that would say she’s got perfect legs, most of the guys I know like fuller legs, ones they can grab a real handful of and feel wrapped around them, they don’t want to feel bone, they want to feel flesh.

      • michelle

most men I know feel the same way Instant. Not chubby but just curvacious(sp?).

    • Ella

I think most men look at the ‘whole package’ rather than nitpicking as many women do. I’ve had women criticise my body FAR more than men have. Men can look at me and call me perfect, but women will be pointing out stubble, hair, wibbly bits, stretch marks, etc… more or less, ‘Great… but there IS room for improvement.’ Many men are able to appreciate various body types and just because they may comment on a pair of slim, gazelle-like legs as being ‘perfect’ it does not always mean those are the only legs they will ever like. I’ve known men who like both Adriana Lima and Kim Kardashian.

      • DT

Some guys simply like big boobs and they do not see past that. Guys who like legs, and I have asked around too, ALL love the legs in this picture. I agree with Monique.

        • Ella

Are you mentioning big boobs to say that men will only accept other body types because of big boobs? If so, I can’t agree. Plenty of men like Beyonce, Eva Longoria, Shakira, etc.

If you’re mentioning it to disagree with the ‘whole package’ thing, you do have a point. There are definitely some men who have a fetish for one particular thing and if it is there, they will be all over that woman regardless of how attractive the rest of her is. Vida Guerra is always called a ‘butterface’, yet men still love her and her curves.

Just as being a ‘boob man’ does not mean solely liking big boobs, being a ‘leg man’ does not mean only liking slim legs like these (even though that is always assumed). What about all the men who love thick, toned and curvy legs? A lot of these guys are also ‘butt men’, but even when the butt they like is there, I have heard men criticising a woman because she still has what they call ‘chicken legs’.

          • Uma

Most men i hang out with prefer the whole package and a certain set of legs may or may not be perfect considering the whole deal. Same goes with ass, boobs whatever. Oh yeah, and all my friends are men, cause girls don’t like me. I know what i’m talking about.

          • Kae

Great points Uma, the men I hang out with tend to prefer a certain body part over another but in the end, the overall package wins out. My man likes brunettes with blue eyes and big boobs and a nice round butt. But he likes athletic women too. He appreciates all kinds of women but certain things definitely stand out to him.

  • ms_benes

Long lean legs is what I’m seeing. She could still gain ten pounds and look awesome.

  • Kae

She’s got great legs in this outfit. I don’t like it when she wears leggings. Her legs sometimes look too thin but this outfit compliments them very nicely.

  • pia

she has a little bone structure so that legs looks good on her… she’s so gorgeous, beautiful hair, skin, face… i luv her! 🙂

  • gisellle

She is about 52 kg I Think. She cannot be 45, cause she would look very “bony”

  • tulona

i used to like her figure but now she’s way too thin.

  • Belle

She has veerrry thin legs, but then again, she looks very statuesque by nature.
It might just be me.. but I like seeing curvy girls modelling underwear.. I can see why a girl like her would be chosen for the runway, but as a lingierie model I just don’t get it.
I’m buying a bra to support my boobs, I want to see what it’s like supporting actual boobs!

  • DT

Contrary to the jealous types writing all sorts of negative remarks, Miranda probably has the most beautiful legs of anyone !!

    • michelle

here we go with the jealous crap AGAIN..Is that all you ever throw out there DT? Everytime anyone says anything negative about a girl who is underweight you throw out the jealousy card. There are plenty of hollywood woman to be jealous of…Miranda no. LOL

      • prada

How can we be jealous? Because we don’t say she’s perfect and we like other models’ body figure? STUPID

        • DT

No, because it is someone who puts her down, with the same old arguments. Those are the jealous types, not recognizing any other opinions. You should just express your own opinion.
Your opinion would be valid too, if you had not added the last word.. like a 10 year old bratty child.

          • Holly

and your opinion would be valid if you stopped writing the same old sentence stating that we are all mean, jalous and petty; you’re getting soo bOOOring DT…… get a life.

        • DT

I never used the words mean nor petty so get your reading glasses out. Come to think of it, you sound like one of those unhappy, couch potatos who complains about everything … after all you included yourself ” we” as one of those I was talking about.. so if the shoe fits, then step in Cinderella …….

          • Holly

I didn’t know that the use of the personal pronoun “we” in a sentence was forbidden or wrong.
English is not my native language, therefore I don’t know all the grammar rules yet. Practice is a good way to learn, so thanks for your participation to the process.

BTW the reason why you can’t handle someone who disagrees with your opinions it’s because you probably have been tormented about being a loser all your miserable life and confrontation via Internet with people you don’t know is just so much more confortable and safer….. How pathetic!!!!!

            Adios, Adieu, Addio, Adeus, прощай!

      • VG

AHAHAH so true well said. now someone like monica bellucci i’d be jealous of…in fact, i AM jealous of!! 🙁 hahah

        • Kae

Exactly, I WILL admit that I’m jealous of Monica Bellucci! She is incredible!

      • Julia

You probably are very jealous, yes. Given that Miranda looks fantastic and you have confidence issues. You should love your body, and if you don’t, means something’s wrong with it. Miranda is radiant because she is very comfortable with her body while you aren’t, so you post these comments.

  • Mrs.L

A breeze might knock her over! Her legs are very pin thin…my neice in 4th grade has about the same size legs…I think she is very adolescent in appearance.
I do believe she is medically underweight- not sexy-
    P.S.
A person can comment with a negative remark…it doesn’t automatically mean that they are jealous; everyone is entitled to their opinion; we are a diverse society and everyone’s thoughts vary.

    • michelle

Exactly Mrs. L! This DT idiot has been around far tooo long. With the job layoff’s she has no time for anything else. LOL

      • Kristy

        No need to get personal.

      • DT

Wow michelle, I’m glad I logged on again… how silly and childish of you to get so personal.. Let’s say… if you know how long I have been around, then you have been around as long as I, so that would make you the same as me….too bad because I can tell you are very mean spirited. And I am not out of work, thank goodness, and I hope no one here is out of work.. these are tough times and you shouldn’t joke about that. Very crude!

And for Mrs. l, it is those statements of “medically underweight” and “adolescent” that sound so foolish. Say you don’t like the look, but you ain’t no physician… Here is a model who is making big bucks and looks ( in my opinion ) very healthy , happy and also very sweet… and appeals to every guy I have asked….and that , according to you, is the opinion I too am entitled to.

        • Mrs. L

DT: There is nothing foolish in my comment. I have had to study the human body, weight, average size of women, and body issue problems in a class I have taken. When a person is estimated to be 5 foot 9 and 118 pounds…that puts them at a medically unhealthy weight…even at 124…That is by a physicians definition “underweight” according to body mass index. As for looking adolescent…you can go back to middle school for the facts if need be; GIRLS go through a “transition into woman hood” called puberty.
During this period, also in response to rising levels of estrogen, the lower half of the pelvis and thus hips widen (providing a larger birth canal). Fat tissue increases to a greater percentage of the body composition than in males, especially in the typical female distribution of breasts, hips, buttocks, thighs, upper arms, and pubis. Progressive differences in fat distribution as well as sex differences in local skeletal growth contribute to the typical female body shape by the end of puberty. At age 10 years, the average girl has 6% more body fat than the average boy, but by the end of puberty the average difference is nearly 50%. So that is my “justification” in saying she looks adolescent… a very educated comment.
I think she has a very cute face, but her figure is in my opinion very adolescent/pre-pubescent and if her estimated weight in all the magazines and on the internet of 118 is accurate, then she is underweight.
I am sorry but I do not think that is sexy…and it is not what I want my daughter looking up to as an “ideal” of what you should look like.
As for the guys you have asked; I can say from the majority of things I have read, that “more often than not” a man prefers something to hold on to… a woman with an ass, some Shakira hips and fuller thighs and a nice ample bust…a woman that looks opposite of them in skeletal structure.
          BTW
I don’t give a flip if anyones opinion is different than mine; we are all entitled to have them.

          • a man prefer what he wants regardless of what shape she’s in and i think miranda’s body is fine and nothing boyish about her. i’m so sick of people sayinf what women should look like and what men go after. i mean damn that is getting old and in case you forgot, women come in all shapes and sizes and shouldn’t have to judge by their bodies whether they’re real women or not because they are women. that may be your opinion but at the end of the day, women are women so there’s nothing boyish looking about miranda. god created women, not biology or men or society.

    • Miranda

if your niece is nine and has these legs she must be horribly disproportionate.

      • Mrs. L

        Hi,
my neice’s legs are not that long, I was referring to the “width” or lack of…

        • DT

Good for you.. you expressed yourself quite well. I can only tell you that, in my opinion, she is definitely not underweight. I don’t know where your doctor gets his ” opinion”. but 5’9″ and 118 is not unhealthy if one is small boned. If you are a big girl bone wise, then of course you will simply be fuller. If Miranda just started packing the food, she would look puffy, and I am afraid, very common looking. Now she looks superb.
Anyway, I think we have discussed this enough. Enjoy your evening.

          • anonymous

Actually, 118 lbs. IS underweight for a small framed 5’9″ woman, by about 11 lbs. Even by the BMI standards she is 7 lbs. underweight(which really doesn’t mean anything, BMI is a bunch of bs, IMO, I don’t usually like to use it as an indicator, but for small framed individuals it is an OK guide).

        • Mrs. L

          bigvinamac;
Yes, there are all different shapes and sizes out there, you are correct. But, again…girls go through puberty for a reason, to develop…I am sure you read what I wrote. Even the skeletal structure becomes different, mainly in a womans hips. A man does not have hips or the body fat a woman is SUPPOSED to have after puberty…this is something “sets us apart”.
I certainly think our perception of “what we should look like” has become distorted; and it is not by people making comments on here…it is through media, and tv, and the modeling industry! when girls/women are told they need to look like this or be a size 0-2-4 etc. Women used to be praised for having a feminine FERTILE look and men craved that in there mates. NOW -a-days this is what is portrayed as “ideal” to women/girls and I think that it is ridiculous… The majority of starlets and models are medically underweight and it is not something I believe that women or young girls should aspire to.
And as for what men prefer…statistically in polls/surverys what I wrote is the preference…and you know what?! who cares, as long as a person is HEALTHY and happy…

          FYI
The average size woman is 5 foot 4 inches, a size 14. And according to the marketing class I took, regarding womens clothing stat’s and sizes, average measurements are 38-33-43.
Far cry from 5 foot 9 inches and 110, 33-23-33 which is on average the usual contemporary fashion models measurements.

          Happy commenting everyone!

          • i see what you’re saying. the media does think that being very thin is beautiful and it’s not but i don’t agree with people saying what a woman should look mine. besides the media can always like the curvy look and say this is how women should look like. curves are beautiful but it’s also wrong because you’re bascially telling girls who don’t have curves have body issues with themselves and that’s just as wrong. we should show all body types instead of one. as far as miranda, she couls be a healthy girl and just because someone is thin doesn’t mean they’re starving or underweight. i’ve seen women that can be naturally skinny and still be healthy. it’s comments like she’s look like a boy or have a 12 year old body is the reason why young girls hates their bodies because of dumb ignorant people. i see a woman and not a boy.

          • DT

5’4″ size 14 ???????? You sure like Big Mamas …. That is obese !

          • DT

Oooops I didn’t mean to insult anyone here … I was referring to a commercial fashion model only…. and not even a character actress and the like.

          • Mrs. L

I am not intending to “tell girls” any sort of the thing…I was simply stating why girls go through puberty- to become women…who are physically structured to become “set apart” from a male… by all of what I wrote previously.
And if Miranda is under 125 pounds, at her height, she is medically underweight according to body mass index; which is not “healthy/sexy”; which again was one of my points which obviously slips by people when reading. Women do need fat on them by the way.
I am not promoting anything…other than telling my daughter and any other woman out there that you don’t have to be a skinny minni woman with no meat to be considered beautiful. Gwen Stefani is very slender with minimal curves and I think she is beautiful, mainly her face- and I also think that Whitney Thompson is gorgeous as well.

As for someones comment about “big mammas”…what a very shallow comment to make. A woman can be 5 foot 4 inches and up to 145lb’s and still be medically healthy, 170 hits the obese mark…

Some people commenting are very ignorant…

          • DT

For Mrs. L, it is too bad you cannot even follow who said what, so will say it again….. Without disrespect to other people on this site, a model , meaning someone who wants to earn money modeling fashion, would be pennyless at 5’4″ and 145 lbs. Proportionately, most guys do not even weigh that much.
There is something wrong with you promoting that it is OK to weigh up to 170 lbs at that height…. Again, saying someone would be healthy also means 5’4″ and 96 lbs would be healthy too, if they are small boned.
Only someone ignorant, as you put it, would promote playing so close to such levels of obesity.

  • jjj

She is absolutely perfect. She has awesome legs, pretty face, nice slender body, and an absolutely beautiful package. Lucky girl..

  • maya

    Wow
    wish i looked like that
Makes me wanna kill myself ! bahh.
She’s hot and looks super tall!

  • ss

I think she has gorgeous legs, thin yes, but very toned and shapely.
For me she is the whole package as a model, stunning body, beautiful face with blue blue eyes, amazing dimples and lovely thick shiny hair. Miranda has that rare combination of being sweet and sexy looking all at the same time.

    • Uma

How can you say those legs are toned and shapy? They are thin. Period. Shapy and toned are athletes’ legs, e.g. Shawn Johnson who was around here a while ago. Or check out Anna Kournikova who is indeed thin, but due to all the tenis she has been playing, her legs are toned.

      • DT

        Shapely can also be subtle.

        • Uma

Of course, they have the shape of a stick. Or a match. When calves and thighs are the same, that’s what you get. I understand that some people prefer this kind of legs, but just admit it, don’t say they are shapely, toned etc. It makes the girls that actually have shapely and toned legs feel fat. Or look fat.

          • prada

I know Gisele is slim, but look at her arms and legs… you can see some muscle definition, and that’s what i called toned in preference to models. Also, Miss Kroes has a toned body!

          • DT

Well it shouldn’t make them feel fat… beauty really comes in all sizes and shapes… but you know, I really do prefer that awesome skinny look, and for my taste, she does have shape and tone… she is not Olive Oil…. and I love the trim, tight, look. But maybe I am biased.

      • Holly

Her legs are “shapely” only if you imply that the shape is given by the bone!!! If this is the case, can we say that a beer belly is “shapely”? probably…… because it does have a shape, indeed 😉

        • anya

Gisele is deff. not slim but skinny but yes she deff. has much more muscle and definition than Miranda who has absolutely nothing.

      • ss

Shawn Johnson, oh please, she may have toned legs but they are very short, thick set and masculine. Miranda has toned legs from years of doing Yoga, you only have to look at her in swimsuits to see how supple her body is, she looks fantastic.

        • Uma

I was taking Shaws as an example for what toned and shapely means. If you think Miranda has toned and shapely legs, fine with me, but you’re wrong. And not because i say so, but because tone and shapely does NOT equal extremely thin or long. Those ARE different thing. Disagree as much as you want, i am not the one living a lie.

          • ss

I think you take yourself way too seriously!……I’m “living a lie” because I disagree with your definition of what toned and shapely means??….lol…..And btw toned means not flabby or wobbly….in other words just like Miranda’s legs…….long, slim, firm, supple, toned and shapely!

        • san

Sorry ‘SS’ you are wrong on this one. Miranda has thin/skinnt legs with out much muscle tone. Just a little. They are by NO means shapely
either. When a girls knees are wider than her calves and thighs, that’s boney. Sorry! Reality check. She is beautiful though for sur
bur just not the body-type your stating she is.

          • ss

I suggest you watch Miranda on this years VS show on youtube, you can clearly see muscle tone and how shapely her legs are, it’s obvious she practices yoga as her body has that long lean suppleness. Even though she is slim you can tell how healthy she is by her glowing skin and hair.

  • tara

i really should stop always reading these comments on this site unless i know it’s a celeb everyone loves. i mean, you girls are HARD on YOURSELVES, or other women to be exact… all this talk about “men only love thin women, oh no, men like big boobed girls, gotta be curvy, no, all men i know wouldn’t care for this and that” to be telling other women that men are so critical and women allmost should feel afraid, gosh, most men i know aren’t that picky, which isn’t to say they settle for whatever. they are loving guys that appreciate beautiful women that they like to hang out with(well my closest male friends are, not talking about the whole malepopulation). give youselves a break really.

    • Uma

Well, if you did read, you saw that is exactly what i and some others said as well. That men are not picky like us lol, and the rathery go for a woman as a whole, not looking at every single detail. But you are right, because if one really looks hard, you can find faults on everyone. Especially since everyone has different tastes.

      • Ella

Agreed… I said there are some men who like one thing and then the rest of the woman doesn’t matter, but that in general men look at the whole package and don’t go scrutinising tiny things like women do. A great example would be the fact that my husband had been seeing me naked for ages and never noticed any stretch marks, yet the moment I appeared in a bikini the first time in front of my mother-in-law, she immediately frowned, pointed them out and asked if I had ever been fat!

I also said being a boob or leg men doesn’t mean liking one size (big boobs, or slim legs). No one mentioned having to have this or that, or to be X body type to attract men.

  • Natalia

Too thin for my taste. Child-like. Weird legged.

  • Uma

Miranda: You don’t know ME. You don’t know where i come from, how many languages do i speak, what my background is and most importantly, you have no clue about my personality. So next time you feel entitled to judge me, remember this: go **** * ****, it may be more fun and more real. I am very pretty and have a stunning body. In the same time i do have a low self esteem and great issues, including eating disorders. But fortunately i am smart enough not to let them overtake me and be able to see my real self. And yes, i am prettier than many models. Not every single human being that i talked to about my looks is a liar, as you assume. So chill, express your opinions, but stop criticizing and atacking other people. You are not a bitch, you are a little girl trying to prove she’s so mean and nasty. But still, don’t make the real bitch come out. Please.

    • Ben

      Uma,
no offense, but why are you wasting your time explaining things to this loser??! i don’t think it’s worth it sweetness, you must have better things to do!

      • Uma

Ben, you are so right. I regreted to moment i pressed post comment. No offense taken 🙂 Thanks 🙂

  • Nai

She has AMAZING legs! I’m jealous!

  • Mrs. L

    DT;
WOW…my dear, I did not “promote” as you put it, that being obese was “ok”…I was relaying a information stating at what weight being 5 foot 4 inches, hits obesity…and that was 170. So clearly you missed that. And yes, in the fashion industry, an obese woman with those stats would probably not be in business, I agree.
As for men and women weighing whatever…a woman is supposed to have nearly 50% more body fat after puberty than a male.
As for “following who said what” it is you who responded to bigvinimac when I was the one commenting on the “average woman”.

I am highly entertained (which is the reason I looked at the page again) that some people commenting on here can not carry on a mature debate/conversation…without resorting to acting like a middle-schooler. It really is funny.

    Ladies;
No matter what you look like, as long as you are healthy, happy, and have confidence in yourself…you are set!

    • DT

Wow I am glad I checked again to see your long answer…. Last time I checked, this is a site for fashion, not for science. 50% more body fat…… I don’t know any guy who looks for a woman weighing more than he does… I would almost think you are basing your reasoning on cultural differences and preferences. Again though, you are missing the point of this entire site. I think what you are looking for is WebMD.

I think your last sentence of advice to all the ladies here will be a reassuring motto for everyone. Thanks. It’s so nice to feel set.

I once admired your opinionated responses but now you are trying to sound elitist…. it’s not attractive.

      • anonymous

50% more body fat does not equal weighs more. And since most guys tend to date women that are a few inches shorter than them, if they are with a woman that is with in the healthy weight/body fat% range, and the man is with in the healthy weight/body fat% range, there isn’t that much of a chance she will weigh more than he does. If they are very close in height, or if she is taller, there may be a chance that she will weigh the same as, or more than, him, but again, if she is healthy, I really don’t think too many men will care. But I don’t see how a woman that is a comparable height and health level is going to weigh more than a man(well, unless she is large framed, and he is small framed 😛 ).

      • Mrs. L

If you have complaints about a lengthy response, all I can tell you is don’t read it…and if you do, then dn’t complain.

A woman is supposed to have more essential body fat than a man… the percentage for women is greater than that for men, due to the demands of childbearing and other hormonal functions. It does not automatically mean that the woman is “fatter” than the man.

I guess I should not have assumed that everyone on here is someone who cares to back up their opinions/comments with educated information; my mistake…perhaps you are right…I should talk amongst individuals that want to share there knowledge of the human body (you know, the bodies of ladies, that are being discussed on this website) with someone who can have a mature conversation and fully comprehend without resulting to defensiveness that would strike a childs fancy.

As far as my comment about “healthy, happy, confident” I think that it was perfectly appropriate and that women should uplift each other not belittle one another.

Being educated about the human body, and relaying that information in the manner in which I did, does mean a person is demonstrating “elitism”…

I surely do not genuinely care if someone admires my comments or not; …I took a moment to check back to this page, because it really is providing some entertainment value of late.

        • Mrs. L

sorry anonymous, the reply was meant for DT…

          • DT

Gang up together, but neither of you are not living in the real world. Good night !

          • anonymous

It’s ok, I knew who you were directing that at 😛

      • anonymous

What do you mean we’re not living in the real world? I never had a problem getting a date even though my body fat % was higher than the men I dated. Hell, never even had one ask me what my body fat % was, so I don’t think it’s an issue at all, not like you are trying to make it out to be. Healthy body fat % for women is some where between 21-33%, for men it is 8-19%.

        • Leanna

Anon you don’t need to defend this information, it’s a fact that women have a higher fat percentage than men and has been since the beginning of time.

I don’t know any man that would want to date a woman with a lower fat percentage than him. No guy wants a woman with more defined abs than him : P

      • adriana

DT. This is long so brace yourself. We all know you don’t like
to read. It takes “a lot” of effort.
You are extremely rude and juvenile. It is sad that you
need to ask men to see if a girl is pretty to them. Its like
you need their “approval” because almost all of your comments
have stated what the guys say about her legs…sad. And you were so
rude to mrs. L. She is obviously well educated, and for you
to say she probably got her info from web md was so immature.
Now, I’m sure you will sign on and say something nasty to me…have at it if you must
and if it will make you “feel better.”
Miranda- you are evil. You contradict yourself so much it
is actually comical. You and your bf will not last IF you
don’t change your attitude because once he sees how ugly
you are on the inside, he won’t put up with you shit.
Not even if you say you’re pretty. Or if he does, perhaps he
thinks and has a bad attitude just like you. If I said half the rude
crap you did, my bf of 3 1/2 years, would not be with me.
Oh and she meant “life for a change” not “chance.” Doesn’t
take a genius to figure that out.
But way to be a bitch and call her out on her “grammar” which by the way was her spelling, not grammar.
Guess you are perfect and never have typos though do you? Just saying. Well, I’m anxiously awaiting the rude
comment you will leave me. I imagine it will be along the
lines of, “you suck, I don’t give a shit, suck my non-existent c*ck.”
All words of a very classy, mature lady. I wish and hope you would
grow up. When this many people are offended and telling you
that you’re rude and basically crazy…maybe its time to take
a look at yourself. For someone who doesn’t “care,” you reply a lot with
nasty comments. If you don’t care, why respond? Go get help instead.
Perhaps anger management? Oh and, I know and am prettier than lots of models. For that I am lucky. I don’t take beauty for granted like lots of people do.
There are a ton of women who are prettier but aren’t models, because they don’t want to be or the opportunity never presented itself. Timing is everything.
I’ve been asked several times if I wanted to model or if I am a model.
I’m not interested in that lifestyle though.
Plus, I have nothing to prove. I am happy being “normal” or
“Average” since I’m not a model. That label doesn’t automatically
mean your beautiful. Anyway, if I were to lose my looks from a freak accident, at least
I have my personality. What would you be left with? The need
to call out everyone who disagrees with you and attack them?
This I’m sure makes you feel better, when in fact it makes you look
like a fool. I do wish the best for you and hope you change.
The world needs less people with your attitude and mean tendencies.
Looking at oneself is the hardest thing to do. But from everything
you’ve written, and the ugliness you’ve produced. Without ever meeting
you, I know I DON’T have any desire to meet someone
like you. I never comment so much or long about anything.
But DT and you especially, really got to me. I was not about to bite my tongue.
People with you attitude are like the plague and try to draw people
in to infect them with your crudeness. Misery loves company. Best of luck with your attitude
        It won’t get you far.

That was long, and I simply commend you for expressing yourself.

haha i was there when she gave that speech 🙂 she’s got a really gorgeous face, and a small slender frame that suits her perfectly. she’s like a barbie doll 🙂

  • Susan

Wow her calves are as large as her upper legs! I’ve read her daily meal plan though I’m not surprised they are so thin it sounds like she works hard to maintain it.

  • Memo

I wish mine was that thin !!!

IMO Miranda is adorable – delicate and doll-like. Pretty face, beautiful blue eyes, cute dimples. She has a cute and firmly-toned shape for her particular body build – which is naturally small and thin. Her breasts are HER OWN – not courtesy of surgical implants, and they’re in perfect proportion to the rest of ‘the package.’ She looks great in lingerie or ‘high fashion.’ A beautifully versatile model. .

i think her face is pretty but im sorry, i’d never want her tall ugly lenky body. i’m 5’5″ and naturally thin (ish) i weigh 115 Lbs. and ive always wished i were 5’3″ and curvier. i think short curvy girls are so womanlly and beautiful. luckily i have big boobs and luckily i AM as short as i am. if i were any taller, id want to shoot myself.poor girl. 5’9″ to me, is a mega curse (its 5inches above average.) oh well, luckily i dont have to deal w/ it. i wouldnt want to be any taller if u payed me a billion dollars. honestly!

shes gorgeous, and her body is not that bad, some people are born with a naturally skinny body, like me, i eat and i eat but i never gain weight which i HATE. but please dont say that shes starving herself or that she needs to eat more because to people like me thats very hurtful. we cant help the way we look

  • Okay first of all I wanna direct what I’m gonna type to all of the ignorant people claiming that miranda is super skinny ! GOSH I’m totally obsessed with this girl I mean her pictures are all over my phone I can’t stop staring at them she has the PERFECT body! Especially for a model ! Amazing legs ! I love her shape love love love her body ! the only women who encouraged me by looking at her pictures to lose extra kgs is mrs miranda kerr and I would love to thank her ! My height is 174cm and I weigh 78 kg and I’m dying to know what is her real weight just to be as the exact weight she’s in ! Definitely GORGEOUS from head to TOE ! PERIOD!

I have legs like hers, and I always felt self conscious of them as a teenager because I was so skinny back then and looked like I had only legs and no body because I was growing so fast! (I’m 5ft10 now) Then as I grew up I started to get lots of compliments about my legs and figure etc and even though I didn’t acceot the compliments for a long time, my confidence grew and now I like my legs and feel confident about my body. I can see beauty in many different women, with different figures, heights etc. It’s important that women feel good about themselves and are positive and encouraging towards eachother. No one is perfect and we are not supposed to be. We’re all different and thats the beauty of it. We’re just human afterall. I think Miranda is cute and healthy. Thats clearly her natural weight as she is small boned and her face looks very healthy and glowy, not malnourished. Peace. xox
