women come in different shapes and sizes, but i really believe that even if she is healthy it would be even healthier if she eats a little more.

hmm she looks skinny-fat, she kind of has abs, but still, that lose skin combined with prominent bones doesn’t make a fit looking package. I don’t think she’s too too thin and she’s said to be eating well, but somehow this woman does not scream “health” to me. Her body looks weak in some ways. And for that she doesn’t look all that amazing to me, has a nice body and is very pretty but doesn’t make my jaw drop. My fav is the balloon pic, reminds me of Lacoste ads.

Skinny-fat?? Never heard of that before, how can that be possible??
skinny fat is when you’re a small size but aren’t toned at all. so even though you’re thin you don’t look particularly great (IMO).

In my opinion we shouldnt call skinny fat a person who isnt toned cause fat gives me the idea of losing weight, and take this example if this girl loses any weight she will be death so… yes.

Hmmm, she sort of does…but, it looks more like she’s bloated…from not eating or something.
she’s always had a round face… ever since she was first discovered at a really young age… it’s nothing new!
But she doesn’t have lose skin – of course she her skin creases when she arches to the side like that (so would yours) otherwise she wouldn’t be able to stand up straight.
I agree with the others – she just plain skinny.
It’s amazing that you could associate MK with the word ‘fat’.
I understand the term skinny-fat, though I’m trying to think how I could phrase it better, because i’ve seen many girls become like that losing weight the wrong way. A girl at my work place used to only eat salad and brown rice and did no toning and thus lost a lot of muscle mass that made her thinner but still had rolls because she had not really lost much body fat. Being thin in size doesn’t automate roll free toned skin; it has to be worked on.
No way does this refer to MK. She may not be that toned but she’s not skinny-fat at all. Her skin only appears loose when she’s arching her body; as would do with most girls.
i dont understand how everyone can judge lindsay lohan and call her anorexic and “disgusting” but when a models skinny, ooh noooo how dare we its a whole different story.

Skinny is skinny to me, regardless of who you are. And she is TOOOOOO SKINNY! It boggles my mind to think that anyone would wanna look like they’re hungry. Fack that.

In case anyone gets the wrong idea (!) what I mean is that I was an fuller A cup and had some booty by 12 years old. And I remember one girl in my class who was a C cup by 11!
The difference between LiLo an Miranda is, that LiLo is not naturally skinny. She always had a healthy body until she discovered drugs and more. 3 Years ago she looked like this.

On the other side there are really skinny women who stay skinny as they are no matter what they eat or do. But I agree beeing a model mostly interferes with having a really healthy model.

I think she looks fabulous! I don’t know if Miranda has always been so slender or not but she looks healthy IMO.
@ Lacey- I love Lindsay but I think the main difference with her is that she used to be a spirited curvy girl who absolutely was glowing but she has taken herself down to a very thin, gaunt, pale shell. If you’ve seen any interviews of her after her fashion show, she was “out of it”. It’s sad to see.
BTW, I don’t think tan= healthy looking. There are many beautiful pale skinned women. IMO you can see the difference between a pale skin that is glowing from within (REESE WITHERSPOON) and a pale skin that looks a little dead and gray (LINDSAY).
Gorgeous face. I’m not that struck by her body. Ofcourse that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t swap it for my own. But she’s not my perfect shape

Gosh, some of you ppl really analyse her apart just to look for something to complain about. She looks fine, she’s a model. Ofcourse she’s not gonna be unhealthy like America Ferrera or kelly Clarkson.
I’ve seen Miranda in person at a David Jones in store autograph signing/workshop and on the runway. She is slim but shapely and up close is really really beautiful with gorgeous skin and very blue eyes. When she walked the runway you could tell how super toned she is, very sleek and definitely not skinny fat. She answered questions about how she stays in shape and her diet, and said she has been doing yoga for years and is very health conscience and likes to feed her body the right vitamins and minerals but every now and then has a splurge, 80% healthy 20% relaxed.
Yeah, she looks like a combo of hourglass and boyish bodytypes. She’s got the small waist compared to hips and chest area, but small boobs, not much curve in the hips and no booty. My younger sister has a similar bodytype but with a slightly rounder booty.
If someone is modelling for a fast-suit (the full length speed suits used in Olympic swimming) it should be someone who looks good in one… Amanda Beard? Amy van Dyken? Please!

Gosh do the, “She looks like a little girl/boy,” or, “She looks anorexic,” comments get on my nerves. I don’t mind anyone’s comments saying that they think Miranda is unattractive, not their type, unhealthy, or should gain a few pounds. That’s opinion and everyone is entitled to one. But the passive-agressive insults are obnoxious.
That being said, looking at these shots, I will change my mind and say I do think Miranda has lost some weight. Her arms are a tad thinner than before. If she were to gain 5-10 pounds she would look banging. The balloon picture is really pretty.
i agree. i hate the whole “she has a body of a 12 year old” or “she’s starving herself”. i think she’s beautiful but wouldn’t mind if she did gain 5 pounds but she must be naturally skinny.
I’m surprised VS didn’t photoshop some extra boobage into the shoot. And yes, she is too thin. Maybe not unhealthy, but not attractive.
I reckon she’s great looking. She has a great figure it’s all in proportion, and she she’s really pretty. I think she’s at a good weight for her build. Doesn’t look starved or anything.

Where have her boobs gone that she is showing off at the Victoria Secret’s Fashion show? I think she is quite pretty but she lost some weight which wasn’t necessary at all.

In real life: she is pretty ugly, no boobs visible, very long torso with no visible waist – tubed shaped…
AFTER PHOTOSHOP: She looks younger, has a visible waist, a C-cup sized breasts, almost perfect.
Everyone can look perfect with the help of Photoshop.
What would we all do without Photoshop – every supermodel would look like a haggard old woman….

I have, and i agree…she was super thin. like, i didnt think it was poss to get that thin without being ED. and thats not jealousy talking, before someone jumps on me! i just mean…she was THIN. she wasnt ugly but not stunning imo either…and we definately are living in a virtual world! i just wish more people would open their eyes to that

Who ever said she looks bad because her bones are showing are delusional. What bones? On most thin or fit people you can see a tad of bone showing somewhere eg collarbone especially when they are stretching or pushing it out. Especially on men. I mean Nicollette Sheriden is awsome fit and looks skinny and really toned for her age but you can see a little rib and no one say anything about that. Can someone back me up.
agree. i don’t see ANY bones sticking out. i’ve seen girls who are skin and bones ( i actually model with a girl who is), and that truly is gross, u can see shoulder blades sticking out, pelvic bone protruding…gross. miranda doesn’t have ANY of that. even perfectly healthy and in shape people can still show ribs, esp when they’re arched or in a position where that certain area stretches. but i don’t really see much of her ribs either way! people are always looking for something to insult. if they see a bit of boniness on someone who is not as skinny, they won’t say anything, but are ready to attack her for “bones sticking out” just because she’s a skinny model.

She actually looks pretty curvy in those shots, not skinny. Her hips look bigger than usual. Not quite as fit. I hope she has not put on any weight and that it’s just the lighting or something. I think she looks way hotter in some other photo shoots where she looks thinner than this. Although the last one is the black spandex looks very sexy.
