Plastic Surgery-Free Elle Macpherson Thinks She’s Looking Old

Supermodel Elle Macpherson fears fans will think she’s starting to look old at 46 when she appears on new US TV show The Beautiful Life – because she hasn’t had any plastic surgery.
The Aussie stunner admits even she’s shocked at how she looks compared to her beautiful co-stars, like Mischa Barton and Sara Paxton.
Macpherson, who plays a modelling boss, says, “Sometimes I really see that I’m the one that hasn’t done anything because I think, ‘People must think oh my God, she looks old.’”

Elle has always been a favorite of mine. I think she looks fantastic, especially for her age.
Aging is such a beautiful process. I wish women (& men) would stop complaining about it so much. If people look at her and think “my God, she looks old” . . . it’s kind of like ‘well . . . duh, she’s an older women’. That does not mean that she is less beautiful. Beauty does not live in one time frame . . . hence the Meryl Streeps, Imans, & Elle Macphersons of the world.

a ha ha ha… good job on promoting natural aging process – feeling almost ashamed to be the “ugly old thing” b/c of not having any work done. Obviously she’s a stunner, and even if someone would consider her ugly they could hardly say she hadn’t aged well. Maybe it’s like jazzzz said; she’s craving for attention. What a dumbas* comment.. Like that’s the first time she realized she’s not 20 anymore. For me too it’s hard to believe that ppl half my age are younger looking than me…

Plastic surgery often does more damage to someone’s looks than good (Janice Dickinson looks 15 years older than Elle) but I understand why she’s self conscious. Imagine doing a job (in the public eye) where your worth was measured by how you look? You’d freak out when your beauty disappeared.
She looks fantastic for her age. That said, I’m sure she’s had a little botox or filler injections done, maybe regular face peels too get rid of fine lines and stuff like that. That wouldn’t be considered plastic surgery, but still.
For heaven’s sake, look at her!! She’s stunning. I can remember her early stuff: she was all legs and fantastically gorgeous. Nothing has changed and I hope to look half as good at 46 (or whatever her age is)!!!
