Hmm… once again, I’ll say that US size 8 does not equal European size 38 (maybe 40) and secondly, most models with her measurements say they are size 2 or 4.

no way is an aus 8 a US 4, i am an aus 8 and all my american brand clothing is a 0/2.. sorry but american sizes are MASSIVE. she looks like an aussie 12 especially considering she is tall.

i am from the same city as her (perth in australia) and i remember just as she was getting a bit of a name for herself locally, they did a profile in a local glossy supplement and it said she was 174cm (5′8.5), and 97-66-100 (or 38-26-39.5) or something around there..
i would say she is more of an american 6/8, someone who is the same proportions (not measurements, if 39″ hips on 5′8.5 are the same as 36″ hips on 5′3.5, then it would be 36″ hips, you know?) as her, but 5″ shorter (average height) will be more of a 2/4..
Just to give you the idea most catwalk models have 35/36″ hips and 24/5″ waists..
being 5′9 i can tell you she is not smaller than a 6 (those pics are photoshopped, she is a bit bigger irl.)

hey:p for many its actullay more common and attainable to be a size 2 than being the oh so popular size zero especially when you are 5′5′ and under.

She looks much slimmer in these pics than she does in unphotoshopped pics. That being said, I think she does have an amazing body – she is definitely not catwalk model thin, and I don’t think she does any high fashion type stuff. Regarding her measurements, however, I looked up her info on her agency website (IMG – I know, I am a total nerd for doing this but I thought she looked larger than most models), and they list her measurements as 36-26-38.5. I think that sounds much more accurate and is still slim for her height.
I think she is a great representation of a much more attainable ideal for women, and I think most men prefer this body type for women as well.

I’ve lived in North America and now live in Europe, so I have quite a bit of experience with conversions and what they REALLY are. Vanity sizing seriously has to be taken into account when converting to US sizes!
If her measurements are 33-23-35 she is a US size 2 or smaller. I’m a 2 and I am 34-25-35. In the EU I am a 34, so she would also be that or smaller.
If the measurements Cheryl found are right (which I actually think are more likely) she is probably around a US4, EU36.
Whatever her sizes are, she’s beautiful and gorgeous and it is lovely to see a Eurasian (part white, part East-Asian).
I’m pretty sure the measurements are correct b/c they were listed by her actual modeling agency.
But yes, it is great to see a successful Eurasian model.
I have to agree with Cheryl & Ella, her IMG measurements are probably more correct than the listed one in this post. Gorgeous face, but despite all the photoshop work done on her stomach, I’d have to say she is more likely a US 4-6. Vanity sizing in the states are always really annoying, from label to label, the sizing changes dramatically.

If you go to youtube or the sports illustrated website, you can see the video clips from her photoshoots. She looks a bit more curvy than she does in these pics, but still very fit and toned.

She is no way a US 8…..thats a UK 12 which is much larger than she is. Unless she has been photoshopped, she surely can’t be any bigger than a US 4. She looks really great.
She is probably a US 6 on the bottom – those were my waist/hip measurements a couple of years ago and that is what I wore. I could never get into a 4, and a size 29 jeans was a stretch. However, Jessica Gomes’ thighs are much slimmer than mine were, so perhaps she could wear a 4.

If she’s not an 8 she’s a 6 (US). This is the first model who may have actually posted her real size. Wow, what a concept. Most models would lie and say this is a 2 or 3. And btw, Jessica Simpson is larger than an 8 (to whomever said that.) :-p
