ho hum. i find her kinda average looking…

    • joy

Agreed! I’m not being catty or anything like that but I honestly don’t see the appeal. She’s average looking at best. I definitely wouldn’t label her as “desirable”. But that’s just me, I guess.

Also, I get so incredibly sick and tired of her talking about how amazing she is for not being ultra skinny. She’s a) thin, and b) comes off like an arrogant yet insecure girl. Not appealing.

      • poo

i hate when people label some of these celebrities as average, if you think she is average then id love to see what the majority of the people you know look like!

        • mary

oh grow up, its just an opinion and like @ssholes we all have them! i find JL cute actually, but am i offended that other people don’t find her attractive? no.

          • Linda

I hate the fact that so many thing because you find a celeberty or so to be average looking, then surely you must be hideous yourself. I don’t get where that’s coming from. I find a lot of famous people to be average, and I don’t see myself as ugly – altough that matter is just as subjective as the opinion I have about other people and their looks.

          • Linda

            so many think*

        • snoops

I agree she is average looking, in that she looks no more or less attractive looking than average. I dont think its that contoversial.

          • melissa

i think she’s sexy af idk what everyones fighting about. lol

          • Emilie

Agreed. She is average to me too. Not ugly, but not extremely beautiful

          • Gianna

I often found that what women think of what sexy and desirable is in a woman does not correlate with what men think is sexy and desirable in a woman.

        • Cristina

Your comment bothers me. There are tons of beautiful people in the world who are not famous.

          • solaxia

Cristina…exactly. I have to say, I think it’s an insecure person who thinks celebrities are better than ‘average’ people, even in regards to looks, just because they are famous. It just doesn’t make sense to me.

          • artemis

            exactlt, solaxia, i agree 😉

        • joy

I hate it when people get defensive when a comment has exactly nothing to do with them whatsoever. As other people have pointed out, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I don’t find her to be attractive but I’m not going to attack you for thinking she is. So don’t do it to me. Also, I never said she was ugly. I just said that I think she looks average.

I also hate it when people argue “you don’t think celebrity x is beautiful!? what do the people you know look like??” Like Cristina pointed out, it’s a ridiculously insulting comment. There are many, many gorgeous people who are not famous and there are plenty of famous people who are not gorgeous. Celebrities are no better or worse than non-famous people.

And while I wouldn’t normally answer such a question, I’m going to do it anyways…I happen to know many many beautiful people. Like jawdroppingly beautiful people. And yes, I do consider many of them to be far more attractive than Jennifer. Honestly, she would pretty much just blend into the background if she went to my school. I see prettier girls every single day on campus.

To make it clear: I don’t think she’s ugly, but I don’t think she’s pretty. Hence the “average” comment.

          • Snip

I know why I get defensive: because the females I see who grumble “She’s not THAT pretty” all the time (quite often to their boyfriends) are typically a 6-7 at best themselves. Women who are gorgeous usually know it, and don’t tend to feel the emotional need to bring down other ladies for any reason. Even if a BUTT-UGLY woman is getting male attention, I never feel compelled to call others’ attention to how homely I think she is. She isn’t stealing anything from me by existing – and Jennifer Lawrence isn’t stealing anything from you either.

          • Gianna

Snip said it all the best. Truth has been spoken.

    • anonymous

I think Jennifer is way above average! I know that beauty is in the eye of the beholder so everyone has a different opinion. I never found Megan Fox or Adriana Lima that appealing, I can see that they are pretty… But I don’t find them interesting to look at compared to some other people. Its just my taste and opinion. So I can understand why some people would find someone attractive and others wouldn’t… It doesn’t matter who you are or what you look like, there will always be people who honestly do and honestly do not find you that appealing. But in my own opinion, Jennifer deserved the top spot this time.

      • jemima

        Hear, hear!

    • lc

I find her extremely average looking too.

    • Powwow

I think she’s adorable and she has great boobs! lol

    • amanda

not trying to be rude… she has a nice body and everything… but how can she be the most desirable women if her face looks like robin williams?

  • Marty

You and I both know that Ask Men just takes the most upcoming celebrity and slap on a title as “Most beautiful Woman” of the year.
Gthoh (Get the hell outta here)

    • Laura

The acronym is pretty pointless if you have to put the meaning in parentheses behind it.

      • Marty

Oh god. You actually clicked reply to make this pointless comment?..*rolls eyes*

    • Gen

Actually, Askmen’s title is based on a poll…

      • Marty

I can’t imagine men over 18 going to see Hunger Games who would know who she is…unless they were dragged by their gfs,

        • She was in X-men. They probably know her from that.

          • Jaime

She was hit in xmen too ^_^ not suprising she won…
Also this stuff about celebrities being “average looking”… Actresses are meant to be average looking, they are not models, they are hired to play people. If a celebrity is exceptionally stunning their potential rolls would be very limited.

          • Gianna

LOL @ Jamie: ”their potential rolls would be very limited”. That one sounded hilarious. Not trying to be sarcastic with you, it’s genuinely funny.

    • Snip

I remember Megan Fox said exactly this after being voted most hot or beautiful something or other. I thought that was very humble and funny of her – and she was in a position to SAY this and it didn’t look like sour grapes, because the title was hers.lol JIM CARREY got the Most Beautiful People cover in 1997. The title goes to “Who’s on the scene now.” lol

    • Nicole

This list is most desirable.. not most beautiful. Basically whose “girlfriend material”.

      • Snip

I didn’t claim this poll was anything other than what it was. What I was doing was comparing it to that of People’s arbitrary “Most Beautiful” when it isn’t even about “beautiful” to begin with. It’s just whoever’s most apparent on the scene at that moment. *Even though I find Jennifer Lawrence beautiful anyway*, that appears to be the case in this poll as well. People even forget about Charlize Theron unless she’s in movies – then once she reappars, she’s back to being one of the most gorgeous again. lol

  • Nobsnob

Good pick she has a stunning body!!
Hands down one of the best I’ve seen in a while. She’s an hourglass, neither skinny nor overtoned, gorgeous natural boobs, curvy and healthy but still slim: I’d kill to have her body!!

    • Emmy

Me too, and look at those beauty marks

      • moomuhmuh

I was just about to say that! Those beauty marks are really cute. She has got a fantastic body, I just love it. It (and she, haha) looked great in Silver Linings. Love her boobs and curves..real curves not fat..

        • Indigo Lace

          I agree w/Nobsnob and Emmy.

  • She looks hot in that black dress! I love her, for some reason.
I just watched her movie, house at the end of the street, and she looked quite heavier back then 😮

  • Emma

I love her. She is a great actress, talented, has a great personality, and is very confident in her own body.

  • serena

I think Jen was picked for her girl-next-door vibe…in interviews she’s funny and jokes about her childhood growing up on a Kentucky farm. Very down to earth rather than a sexpot obviously. But these lists are complete crap, as we all know, it’s about publicity.

  • natalia

I don’t care what men find desirable, I’m vain, beauty (and health) are more important to me.

    • Megan

Me too. I actually feel “less than” being praised for how much some slob would like to penetrate me. lol. I’d much rather hear how people would rather look like me!

Who was the silly actress/model that said every woman wants to be sexualized? No thanks, I prefer envy 😉

      • natalia

That’s funny, I think most women prefer both, to be envied and desired by men, since they want to marry and procreate…me, I don’t give a shyt about men!:) Just let me be thin, in shape and healthy!

        • Gen

You guys do realize that you sound like sociopaths, right? You guys sound like a female version of an amalgamation of Patrick Bateman and Christian from Nip/Tuck.

          • solaxia

Lol, I understand what you girls mean…even if it does sound slightly sociopathic as Gen said =P. (I personally don’t see that though).

I agree…so what, get a whole pile of men to ‘desire’ you…what does it really achieve? Most of them would be slobs if they talk like that…and secondly…do the women plan on ‘doing’ all of them?!

          • Miss Coco

I think it’s great that more and more women want to be beautiful for themselves. But announcing it as if it’s better to want to be envied by women than to be desired by men is delusional. Either way you’re basing your worth on someone else’s judgement.

Also, what does being envied by other women achieve?? Just as little as being desired by men does. It makes you feel better for a split second and then the feeling’s gone. Good luck with that.

          • solaxia

MissCoco- I agree with that too. I think it’s great to want to look good for you! Ultimately, that’s what I want.

I just read their comments though as a statement saying that they don’t just want men’s attention (as most women seem to). I’m not sure if they actually meant it in the way it came out…maybe they did. I agree though, it’s just the same as wanting to be wanted by men. It’s still looking for external validation, as you said, which isn’t healthy when it’s too extreme.

On a side note…I almost posted this under your name. Ha ha I started writing my name as MissCoco…anyhoo…

          • Tally

Christian from nip tuck lol i think the envy from women can come along when you are most desired by men,,,

          • Indigo Lace

            XD

      • Megan

Two lols and a wink and people still took it to heart… Lighten up, it’s just SvC!

    • lc

I agree. Lol, I genuinely don’t care how men perceive me. My looks are important to me, FOR me, and no one else.

  • sara

she is beautiful and her body is really nice and curvy in the right places

  • ary

what’s up with her upper lip?

    • Uhhh…it is attached to her face? Lol I don’t know what you mean it looks normal to me?

  • Anastasia.

Ehhh it could have been worse, they could have picked Rhianna…shudder.

    • natalia

Well Rhianna’s cute, she and this other one are what men tend to like, fuller figures, more fat, more breasts, that’s normal. Men are designed to be attracted to women for sexual reasons, not aesthetic ones, so what’s most beautiful has little to do with what men find attractive.

      • lex

Different men find lots of different types of women attractive. Maybe some men don’t find her beautiful but some men may think she’s gorgeous.

        • natalia

Um, okay, I was talking about how men aren’t the best judge of what’s attractive b/c they are more concerned w/ mating, sex, etc. They tend to like big breasts, fat, etc. But if you want to know what’s beautiful, don’t go to a straight guy, ask a women, or a gay man!

          • Hazal

You seem to be a little bit obsessed with body fat, Natalia.

          • PS

I beg to differ on that one. There are TONS of men out there who have a very healthy sense of what is beautiful to them and what not. And as 99% of my friends and many, many colleagues are men + all of them straight I can confidently say, that they have very different preferences that range from pretty chubby to stick thin – so there’s one for every size a girl might come in!

          • natalia

yeah, I mean, my exp. that most of them will take anything!

          • What is beautiful just depends on the person you ask. You act like every woman thinks the same thing is beautiful and we most certainly do not. Judging by all your fat comments I don’t think you would like what I find beautiful lol.
And men are fine at judging what is beautiful to them. They can’t have an opinion because they have a penis? I guess you better never have an opinion on a man’s appearance then.

          • natalia

Yeah, I mean, I really do think most women find the same look the ideal, they just don’t admit it to others. yeah imean i think if every women had a choice she’d choice to be a tall, thin type than a short fatter type. I mean, I’d love another 3 inches, im 5 7. But I admit it and am honest abuot it, most women are not, esp. not here.

          • Kate

Guys do mostly care about sex but they won’t sleep with a girl they find repulsive…drunk or not

          • serena

Natalia you keep assuming that everyone secretly wants the same thing you do and we’re being dishonest – I think you need to step outside your box a bit. The choices aren’t super tall/skinny vs short/fat. I would ideally be medium height and slender with curves. I know you called Barbara Palvin chubby but she’s my ideal! 🙂 You seem to prefer a super tall and skinny look and that’s great but not everyone likes that.

          • natalia

??? yeah…they do all want the same thing i mean, I can’t believe that any women would not want to be 5 10 and 120 w/ perfect bone structure, skin and be perfectly lean and fat free…yeah, sorry, not buying that one. That’s just silly.

          • @natalia, I am honest about what I find attractive, and many of the women you say are too fat are what i find appealing. Yes I want to be thin to an extent, but prefer meatier women than models. I also wouldn’t want to be any taller than I am now because I would feel awkward in heels.
You just need to stop acting like “what natalia finds attractive” speaks for every woman because it doesn’t.

          • natalia

yeah i mean ditto my last comment, don’t know what else to sayy

          • Ok let me get this straight: anyone who doesn’t agree with you must be lying, because really who could ever disagree with you!

            A bit full of yourself…

          • natalia

it’s gone on a little too long for me to be honest…sorry, i hear what you are saying and ok, whatever you say is fine w/ me,

          • serena

Natalie you keep insisting anyone who doesn’t idealize the same things as you is flat out lying, don’t you think that sounds a little nuts? You also said you’re 103 lbs at 5’7 which is really underweight and you find size 4 models like Barbara fat…I feel so harsh for saying it but maybe you have body issues and genuinely can’t understand that not everyone has your preference.Sorry if this is rude, I’m not saying you’re unhealthy.

          • natalia

No it’s cool, i mean, im not underweight except to bmi and that’s antiquated, im an ectomorph, we are all naturally lean and eat like horses, but being so lean I think I notice any fat on others more than other ppl would
As far as the rest of your comment, yeah, don’t know what to tell you that I havent’ already said

          • natalia

and actully i’m a size 4 in most things, broad shoulders, long arms, a size cannot be fat or skinny, only a person

          • Jaime

I agree that size isn’t any indication of fat/thin. I have a very thin friend and we share clothes and have the same measurements and similar height/weight… My friend looks too thin and I don’t. It’s really how everything “sits”.

          • Jaime

I agree that size isn’t any indication of fat/thin. I have a very thin friend and we share clothes and have the same measurements and similar height/weight… I don’t look very thin, just slim… It’s really how everything “sits”.

          • artemis

They tend to like big breasts, fat, etc.

lol, yeah, only SOME. they aren’t all the same, you know

          • Miss Coco

They see me trolling, they hatin’…

Seriously though, this Natalia chick thinks that all women wish they were model tall and thin. I shudder to think of the day she realizes that the world is bigger than her head. Even in the USA alone (where emaciated models seem to be revered) many people prefer other body figures, men and women alike. Not to mention outside of the USA and *gasp* outside of the continent of America and Europe!

Good job Natalia for single handedly being the most ignorant person on this website.

          • jenn

Natalia, no matter how skinny you are and how little body fat you claim to have, you’re not perfect either, cuz guess what? all your comments are super annoying!

          • hannah

nahh, natalie, i get you. ’cause yeah, beauty’s apparent in all kinds of sizes, but there’s a scientific explanation as to why bigger breasts and wider hips are generally more appealing. same goes for everything else. with that being said, i agree that that may not be everyone’s ideal, just as long and lean may not be. so ultimately, beauty really is in the eye of the beholder, which is awesome. because regardless of your size, there’s someone out there who finds YOU dead sexy 😉

      • Anastasia.

Don’t know about that, I’ve never heard of Rhianna being praised as something special by any man that I know, sexual or otherwise. In fact, most find her kind of repulsive. I think even on the askmen survey when they ask men to vote on whether a celebrity should be placed higher or lower on a list, I *think* the majority thought that she should be placed further down the list. And I think that men are attracted to women for both sexual and aesthetic reasons. For example, I think both sexes find women with full lips, larger eyes, clear skin, low WHR, etc. to be attractive. Both from a sexual point of view as well as an aesthetic one.

        • natascha

In Norway most of the boys I know find Rihanna really sexy and attractive and talks quite a lot about her appeal

        • artemis

A lot think she looks nice 😉

      • artemis

Men are designed to be attracted to women for sexual reasons, not aesthetic ones

uhmmm, they care about pure aesthetic reasons too :/ and also, what they find hot can also be aesthetic, like some certain nice eye shape.

        • Winnie

lol exactly. if that’s the case, then I don’t know why my gay guy friends would have as much to say about women’s looks and bodies as they do

  • Mrs Darcy

I like this pick for Most Desirable. I find it a bit refreshing that the woman they chose is *GASP* a size 4-6 most likely and appears to be au naturale plastic-surgery wise with REAL boobs (no hate, just saying) and curves, and not some skinny bobblehead with orange pushed up under her chest. Also, I know Jennifer comes off as annoying to some people on this site but I always read her comments in interviews as wildly sarcastic and witty. To me, she seems genuine in a “I don’t give a f/I’ll say what I want” and not so pageanty and prepared in her answers. Also, she is way more beautiful on film or in fashion shoots than she is posing on the red-carpet, at least to me.

  • thingsdontchange

You beetches stay hating… smh. You find a flaw with everyone. It should be mandatory to post a picture of yourself makeupless, in direct sunlight, wearing a swimsuit.

    • poo

Here here! women are so annoyingly picky, pretty much every woman i see on this website looks pretty good to me, i dont see why everyone needs to dissect the tiniest flaws they can find. I mean geez its a little bit sad, will not be visiting this website again anytime soon

      • Anastasia.

You won’t be missed poo poo. bye bye.

      • snoops

The commenters on this site express a variety of opinions, and some are a bit mean or rude, some are out right trolls or people with issues (and that makes me sad) but if you cant handle it then maybe dont visit. No shame in it. As for JLaw there is nothing “wrong” with her, and i agree sometimes women get picked apart for the crappiest reasons on this site, but come on. Theres nothing wrong with her but her looks are nothing extraordinary. There are degrees of beauty, thats why we have various descriptors for levels of attractiveness like plain, cute, pretty, stunning etc.

      • Casey

No offense but if you think that people aren’t picking or noticing flaws in real life, you are naive.

The difference is in real life they’re not shared because it is not the time nor place to share those kinds of thoughts, as is the case of this website.

    • Anastasia.

Okay b*itch, so you better never ever find a flaw in any celeb posted on here without your mandatory ugly bikini picture posted right next to it.

    • Anastasia.

BTW your comment doesn’t even make sense. So unless you’re physically perfect you aren’t allowed to find a flaw in anyone? What a ridiculous comment.

      • thingsdontchange

Oh have a seat, b. My point was that you guys NITPICK everyone on here. If they are a model, they are too skinny with no ass. If they are an actress, they are too flabby or skinny fat. Pretty face, ugly body. Nice body, boring/avg face. I’m just saying about 95% of these women probably look better than those with nasty remarks and could take your men. NOT MINE- b/c I am fine as hell. That’s why I’m not a hater. SMooches.

        • Anastasia.

lol the sad reality is that anyone that claims that they are “fine as hell” on the INTERNET, with no picture to back it up, usually resembles a warthog. Smooches b.

        • lc

Calm down guys, thingsdontchange is a TROLL. We should jut disregard her comments.

    • Layla Bach

Uhhh… then why come to a website where there’s a discussion on the female body/weight in celebrities? Of course, we’re going to find a flaw. Afterall, these people are human. And they chose to be in the ENTERTAINMENT industry. Maybe you should stop coming and you won’t feel the need to call every the b-word.

      • Layla Bach

        ***everyone 🙂 oops

  • Laura

She’s maybe not who I would’ve chosen as first, but she’s pretty and has a great body. And then again, I’m not a man or into the ladies haha. It’s an interesting list, as a whole. I’ve only heard of about half the people on it.

  • Tia

I really like her. I’ve never seen any of her movies but from her interviews she seems like such a intelligent girl. She is also super funny and down to earth. Her face can is a hit and miss for me (sometimes she looks gorgeous but sometimes she remids me of a bird lol) but her body is perfection. YES!!! I like that choice a lot.

    • Gen

Totally agree with you. Except I’ve seen most of her movies and she’s amazing. Silver Linings Playbook is especially great.

But even though I love her and spend whole blocks of time watching her interviews, I can admit that I don’t think her face is aesthetically perfect from every angle. But that’s not what makes her attractive. I mean Megan Fox and Jessica Alba have basically no bad angles and they are boring as hey-all.

J-Law is gonna have a big huge career because she is amazing, is about to be nominated twice for an oscar in three years, and has a sublime, hilarious personality.

  • Pixie

    I think she’s a good choice. 🙂

  • Rachwestnz

Haha ok this will sound really weird but I wish I could see celebs vags/women bits, just out of interest/comparison, coz then we can judge the whole package. Like oh she beautiful but what a huge bumhole. Then we could all post mandatory vag pic and judge one another’s bits, yay!!! I love it when anastasia gets bitchy, woooohooooooo. And before u ask, yes I love mine! We shld all love our women bits!

    • Gen

I think they have other websites for that…

      • moomuhmuh

Buahahahaha! This is hilarious. Hahaha, what is happening to this site. Wow, this is seriously making me laugh. We need a compilation of celebs vagina pictures for comparison, maybe it could even have a game where you match the celeb to the vagina! Hahaha

    • Anastasia.

      • Shiv

I feel sorry for you Anastasia

      • Mishael

Wow, you sound like lunatic with anger management issues…

      • Lol Anastasia what gives? I honestly don’t think that Rcahelwestnz was trying to throw shade at you.

Sometimes it’s fun to be on the sidelines and read comments on this site when things get heated …that’s what I thought she meant *shrugs*

      • Tally

Why dont you guys like go big or go home and type out the real swear words…smh. all scared n shit

        • serena

Because if you type out a swear word it will say “This comment is awaiting moderation” and it will be posted without the swear word anyway. Also because if you can’t articulate your point without swearing, maybe it’s not a great point to begin with.

          • Anastasia.

Swearing doesn’t make my point any less valid. What a stupid comment from you.

          • serena

What was your point, exactly? Other than to call someone a “kunt” and swear at everyone like a lunatic. It’s getting hard to take you seriously 😉

          • Anastasia.

lol serena you idiot, do you think I give 2 shiits if you take me seriously or not? 😉 As for my point, well it’s simply that I only got bitchy because the original poster called everyone biitches simply because they dared find a flaw in jennifer. And then you and the rest of the lunatics jump in and go after my comment without even bothering to see why I cursed in the first place.

          • serena

Except that I responded to Tally, not you….you just jumped in because you seem have permanent PMS. And pretty much proved all our points, so thanks for the laugh 😀

          • Anastasia.

Well, I guess when all else fails, you can always feign ignorance… Your comment to Tally was directed towards me, and I jumped in, because it was directed towards me. You playing stupid and saying otherwise doesn’t change this fact. I just jumped in for no reason because I have PMS? Ya I think this comment could be directed towards you, seeing as it was you who jumped into this conversation for no reason. Tally wasn’t even addressing you now was she? So tell me again, who is the one jumping in for no reason? OR better yet, quit while you’re ahead, you’re embarrassing yourself.

          • lol

            lol I love Anastasia.

I am shocked that erica hasn’t won the award for askmen…since erica is always telling everyone what is and what isn’t attractive. and how only her body shape is considered attractive.

  • mary

she looks cute here…very flattering outfit. I like her and think she is down to earth and approachable…also has a nice figure though i prefer a little slimmer

  • anonymous

I think Jennifer Lawrence is gorgeous! One of the most naturally beautiful women in Hollywood. She looks better with her natural blonde hair though & without the fake tan.

  • Tea

I think she has a hot body but a weird although not completely unattractive face, like Kirsten Dunst.

  • violet

Not much, think she has squinty eyes and weird ears 🙁 Definately very far down the list of the most desirable in my books.

  • speckle

I honestly don’t find her “desirable” at all, but that’s not to say she’s not pretty. She’s just not very alluring or sexy, IMO. She has a warm and pleasant face, but there’s nothing sexy about her. Maybe most men disagree, I don’t know. My bf says she’s cute but not sexy.

    • Emilie

Agreed. She’s cute at best, but not sexy imo

  • Cristina

I don’t find her face to be anything special (cute, yes) but her body is amazing!

  • Candy

Yes she’s hot compared to the average girl but she snot a great beauty like Angelina Jolie or Charlize.

    • Winnie

people actually find Mangelina a “great beauty”? ugh. i thought that was a phase.

      • Mishael

I still find Angelina a great beauty.

      • jenn

i agree. especially once Angelina lost so much weight. When will women get it that you can become TOO thin? it aged her terribly. she’s my age, yet when i see pics of her, i think of an attractive woman in her late 40s.

        • serena

Yes but she could potentially gain a bit of weight and look better again – that’s what makes her beautiful, vs. the average women who will look average at any weight. Fwiw I have met Angelina Jolie irl when they shot “The Good Sheperd” in my town and she is lovely irl too, but very thin.

          • Winnie

it’s not her weight that i have a problem with. i do think she looks better with more weight on, but i never got the hype in the first place. i could see the appeal in her bad-ass Tomb Raider days because of her “image” but i really just don’t like her face, ESPECIALLY her lips that everyone’s always freaking out about. as someone with fuller lips than most, i just don’t find hers nice. they’re wide, with no real shape, droopy and wrinkly, and overall just not appealing imo. the only thing i find attractive about her is her eye-colour.

      • jenn

i was replying to Winnie’s comment.

    • lc

Angelina and Charlize are quite “meh” to me.

  • Lauren

    Butterface

    • C

I can only imagine you’re talking about yourself, because I don’t see any butterface in the original article.

      • lc

Nope she means Jennifer. I’m not sure why you think she meant herself; Jennifer is quite CLEARLY who she was calling a butterface.

  • Loos

While I don’t think she’s the most stunning celebrity, I think she’s pretty (great cheekbones), intelligent, very talented and has an AMAZING figure.

    • Mel

      agreed!

  • Casey

To add on to an earlier comment, I think JL is above average compared to most people, but average for a celebrity.

I haven’t looked through the list, but I’m guessing there will be dozens of women I find more deserving of the title than her. It’s not a coincidence that these titles seem to coincide with the current popularity/PR team of the celebrity.

Also, even if she was drop dead gorgeous, her attitude just kills it for me. The stream of incredibly insecure comments regarding her “larger size” and how she is fighting a battle vs Hollywood and should be praised for it makes me roll my eyes. She is thin. She is not a martyr, and acting like it makes her seem like she is craving approval/attention/compliments. That is rarely an attractive quality.

  • D

Incredibly average, I wouldnt notice or look twice.
That being said, Askmen seems to be more of a list of who is hot RIGHT NOW, in regards to rising fame/etc.

  • solaxia

I find her really pretty…I thikn her body is cute as too! I love that dress and I want one.

  • Erica

After seeing Silver Linings Playbook, I think she’s an absolute knockout – her figure is one of the best I’ve ever seen, to be honest! I think she has the sort of body that the vast majority of men find appealing – very curvy, yet fit and slim. She’s one of the few celebs with a body I am truly envious of.
She also has a slightly rebellious yet dorky air to her that is quite alluring. She always seems to be putting her foot in her mouth and sometimes she says things that are quite offensive – but I sort of like that she’s different, both in looks and her PR-naiveté. She’s not cookie-cutter at all and although many of her comments make me roll my eyes, it’s not because it sounds like PR/PC drivel, like with most actresses!

    • lol

Predictable as ever. Telling us again what the majority of men find attractive. It’s amazing how you can read the mind of the majority of men erica. Your arrogance never ceases to amaze me.

  • I luvvvvvv j.Lawrence! She’s beautiful with a VERY HOT body! And a genuine personality(4rom what I perceive 4rom interviews).and all you haters who tink she’s annoying or ‘just average-looking’ r probably horrendous looking and extremely jealous,too bad,u can’t b her.

    • lc

No one here is jealous we really do think she is obnoxious and average. Because she is. LOL, I think I am better looking than she is.

  • callie

I think she’s got a great body and a pretty face but I’m reaaaally not liking her as a brunette. Normally I love the dark hair/light eyes combo like Katy Perry or Megan Fox but she looked so much better as a blonde. This colour is doing nothing for her!

  • La la la la

i think she’s gorg but doesn’t seem confident which takes away from her beauty. height and weight guesses?

  • Nat Shermans

She’s not for me…But she has a nice look and I’m glad she won. Better this girl than anyone else I can think of.

  • Kimmy

You guys take these things too seriously. These things are just “who has been the most popular in the last year” contests. Even someone (I think Megan Fox?) alluded to this when she got chosen…in another year itll be another actress who has gotten alot of media attention/landed the biggest role

  • lucy

i think this just proves how much men (and just people in general, really) start to believe what they are told. jennifer lawrence is ‘of the moment’ and the media like her, so she is considered the sexiest woman. the same went for mila kunis before her, and megan fox before that, though arguably they were both a lot sexier than jennifer. the point is, would any of these women been considered AS sexy and they are/were if we weren’t being told constantly that that’s what we should think?

  • lc

Average all around. If I saw her on the street, I wouldn’t look twice. Or even once, actually.

  • Kimberly

Nice, curvy body. Really average-looking face.

But it doesn’t matter. These lists are picked based on politics and star power, and Jennifer Lawrence has a lot of publicity now with her Golden Globes nom and Hunger Games fame.

I like her interviews because she kinda reminds me of myself (wow, that sounded conceited…sorry…) and I think it’s weird and funny. But I think she is one overrated actress, both in looks and talent. I know so many other young actresses with much more potential but don’t have a big movie to back them up.

And has anyone noticed that all her roles are pretty much the same?

  • Vanessa

I’m a lesbian and I don’t find her attractive in the slightest. She’s fit but her face is so incredibly average. I would swipe left for her on tinder.
