Yeah, That’s Funny – Curvy & Real Versus Skinny & Fake Jennifer Lopez!
OK, I agree that the first pic is a little cruel – but so is that dress she’s wearing.
What’s even crueler is the way they butchered Jennifer’s body in the magazine – wait, what body? It was a “copy JLo’s head and paste it on a size 2 body belonging to a model” technique, right? Yeah, I guessed so.
I’m not sure if I should use big words such as “offensive” or downright yell “Do they really think we’re stupid?”, but I will tell you that: I”ll vote for JLo’s real body with all the back fat and cellulite-full booty in the world rather than the sad, sad illusion on the right.
More photoshopped pics of JLo with top designers after the jump!

WTF?!
The woman just had twins, of COURSE she isn’t a model size 2, it would be beyond ridiculous to expect that of her. She’s losing the baby lbs w/ her marathon training, etc. SO WHY DOES SHE DO THIS, IT’S SO STUPID!
Can’t she just be proud of the body that produced 2 beautiful children and is bouncing back at the pace it’s supposed to?! I’m pregnant and I know my body won’t be the same after, but I won’t be hiding behind cardboard cutouts of models, I’ll just get on the treadmill and hope for the best. This makes me SO frustrated at the impossible standards our media have set.
The real Jennifer Lopez any day x
the real pic is very unfortunate though. don’t like the wobble exposed on her side.
What is so wrong about not being size 2??? I do not wonder that teenage girls suffer from eating disorders when the only thing they can see are fake skinny bodies.
Eating disorders aren’t about wanting to be thinner like celebrities. If that was the case every woman would have had an eating disorder. Eating disorders are characterized by 1) delusions, like “seeing things”, because the girls actually see themselves as fat in the mirror when the fat doesn’t exist and 2) they need to be able to control obsessively. Only girls that are predisposed to eating disorders (by trauma or genetics) will get eating disorders.
Plese don’t throw around the word eating disorders to describe every girl that wants to diet. There are many people that really suffer from eating disorders and you’re making it something simple when it’s actually very horrible.
excuse, me, but as a former anorexic, i can assure you that an eating disorder can very well start by wanting to be thin like a celebrity. i vivdly remember one of the triggers that made diet to an excessive degree was looking at pictures of kate bosworth and nicole richie. the difference is that anorexics, by nature, are perfectionist, take it to an obsessive level, and like you said, they need something to control (for example, i thought i wasnt attractive, intelligent, talented, etc., so i thought “well at least i can be thin. thats something that I CAN control”), and again, like you said, don’t possess a realistic image of themselves. of course, the latter two characteristics are what defines and seperates an anorexic from an average dieter, but don’t assume that it can’t start from wanting to be like a thinner celebrity.

she looks beautiful as size 2 and her regular self. i dont think she was trying to look like a model, she was trying to look toned. she has cellulite and probably some baby fat left, which is completely natural, but im not sure if everyones ready to see that on a magazine cover.
[...] side here: a “Thank You” is in order for not going as dramatic as you did in the “OMG, that’s not her body!”-Jennifer Lopez cover. So thank you, but next time, please don’t equip yourself with as many Photoshop arms [...]
The first picture is a little cruel ?!? She was pregnant idiot!
Yeah she loves photoshop, but comme on it’s hollywood!
Everybody’s doing it!
@Timcsio829,
“Is a little cruel” = “The picture is a little unflattering” – That’s exactly what I meant.
Of course I am aware that she was pregnant – and this is precisely why I prefer Jennifer’s REAL, CURVY, NORMAL, NATURAL body!
This was the meaning of my comment, I was PRO Jennifer.
[...] Magazine, the one that also had something with Jennifer Lopez’s curves, with Mariah’s figure and even with Kate Beckinsale’s [...]
not class A hot has a very plain face
that last picture of her was really cool.
Jennifer is a beautiful woman.
In that first picture, I think it’s far more a case of the belt around her waist pushing her skin up, causing it bunch up under her arm, than anything else.
I really like Jennifer. And I really don’t care if anyone photoshops her. She’s a real diva anyway. And I have that ELLE issue. Those pictures were amazing!
I find the one with flabs more beautiful considering that she’s a mother of 2 after all. Why did she have to undergo photoshop for the magazine cover anyway?
yeh tru!
she is beautiful and why photoshop!
its fake…its not even real
like wat we see in mags and stuff aint reality!
sometimes i find it hard to know whether thngs i read in mags or see are real or not!
I hate back fat
i dont understand why ppl use fake pikc in the magazines, wen i was younger i would belive they were so beatuful and hav flawless skin no wrinkles and perfect
but as i got older i understood about how the piks i see are FAKE!
its realy annoys me!
but jay lo look sreally nice in the grey with the hat….!
but its fake!
She is a beautiful woman, it’s sad that they feel the need to alter her pictures to make her into societies idea of “perfect.” It’s NOT realistic…and plainly it’s just not as beautiful as a natural photo.
She’s hotter slim, onestly. Is she in reality like in the first pictures?cause in her clips she looked good, she was curvy, not with a surplus…here she’s…not in my taste let’s say
The left pic is cruel. I was at that concert and she actually looked WAY better.
She didn’t look like the photoshopped pic, but I think it was just the angle that made this photo look so bad!
