Jennifer Love Hewitt Talks Diet and Exercise

“I allow myself one really bad day a week when I can have all the cupcakes and whatever else I want to have. And the rest of the week, I just try to be really sensible about it.”
“Exercising has cut my anxiety way down, and it’s made me sleep better.”
Jennifer Love Hewitt in Life & Style Magazine
Does this “one really bad day” plan sound good to you?

No. I say one or two cheat MEALS (not DAYS) for sanity and then eat clean the rest of the week. You can do a lot of damage in a whole day.
A cheat day is OK, you just have to eat sensibly and not make this a binge or “all you can eat day”. If it works for her then I don’t see why not
Defnitely true. If it’s just like oh I would like a cupcake instead of the whole week thinking I’ve just got to eat clean the whole week and on free day I can have 20 cupcakes then good. If not, she’ll need to reform.
I don’t know about “all the cupcakes I want” but I eat pretty much whatever I want on the weekends, because eff it. Life’s too short.
Same here. Within reason. I’d draw the line at say, ten cupcakes. Just kidding. But yeah, life is short.
I´ve got the same system. Sometimes it last the whole weekend. And I don´t gain weight and I think I´m healthy. When I have this “eat-whatever-you-want-day” I also eat healthy foods, cause they are what I like to eat. But I also might want to eat candies or popcorns or pizza. I just don´t eat them during the week. Well, sometimes I do, if it´s a special occasion.

Sounds like a one-way ticket to bulimia to me! It’d be far healthier to eat intuitively and be able to savor a cupcake or cookie every now and then instead of stuffing yourself with “forbidden” foods on a certain day each week. Overeating is less enjoyable!
i have stuff whenever i crave it. Luckily I don’t crave sweets too often and a sweet craving for me can usually be satisfied with some fruit or a small piece of dark chocolate. Ha ha except for when it’s my time of the month all bets are off then…..
yeah I have a day like that too once in a week, but i think I’m gonna quit. I found out that it doesn’t really work for me, so. But sure it’s a good option. Better than eating sweets every day=)
Cheat day = No, Cheat Meal = Sanity. Some of these celebs are just liars though or purgers. Either/or they are all horrible examples of what our bodies should look like.
