Haha I agree…she it at the grocery store for goodness sake! People think celbes are like a “whole different species.” What do you look like when you go to the grocery store?
PS. What does she mean and her legs are skinny “again?”
She never looked big to me..not even pregnant. In fact, she was a little thinner than usual before she got pregnant. Remember her is Sin City? HOT!
And skinny legs doesn’t necessarily mean you have nice legs! Curvy legs are good to! Just be fit either way.
i know!!..i hate how people think that celebrities are supposed to be smiling 24/7 when they have these people with no lives following them around taking pictures of them doing normal stuff…i think she looks gorgous as always and i love her at this weight….
She always looks so angry and honestly, I have never and will never see anything remotely attractive about her.

and so what if she doesn’t look over-joyed – she’s in a supermarket doing the food shop, where she is being followed by cameras obviously and she knows she’s not looking glamorous – it’s not exactly a day in paradise is it.
The number of natural beauties are few. I think all three Jessicas: Alba, Biel and Simpson are all natural beauties.
I agree that she’s a natural beauty, I don’t think she looks so bad without makeup. And I don’t get why everyone (in the media) picks on her for looking cranky, not everyone walks around with a permanent smile on their face.

i don’t think the sad look is due to lack of make up but rather to the fact that she’s grocery shopping. she looks rather bored i think, like her thoughts are elsewhere. nice bod, average face.
doesn’t she have great skin? I mean, it’s not blotchy at all, no blemishes, nothing! so jealous
and as for the expression, i have the same problem, i honestly think that unless she is smiling she is going to look miserable, its just her mouth shape and her eyes. she was probably in a good mood, but she is faaaaabulous
Agreed, I would love my skin to be so clear and beautiful! I guess she could be wearing concealer, but it doesn’t look like it.
Her full lips, big eyes, and cute nose are all adorable!

omg she is so beautiful!and her skin?perfect!I don’t think she looks cranky att all. I mean picture your self while shopping for groceries you aren’t exactly walking around with joker face…
she has dark features so without make-up she still has dark lashes and defined eyebrows, that does A LOT, compared to blonder people who have no visible brows/lashes w/o make-up. she looks really beautiful here imo. and a bit cranky, true, and “happy face makes you look younger, angry face gives you wrinkles” and all that maniac barbietalk, but i agree with crystal; people who have obvious smiles on their face when they’re alone tend to look a bit – weird….. it’s hard to master that in between state – not angry and not actually smiling, just content in some way. i always struggle with it, since my “blank” face(when i’m just thinking, or spacing out) is quite dark. i often get the “why you lookin’ so dam* angry / sad , girl..” when i’m just.. a bit bored OR really quite happy but in my own world / tired..and my muscles in my face get so tired when i try to force them to stay in an unnatural position all the time. maybe jess is a happy person inside too
i’ve seen her smile when she’s actually talking to someone or doing something fun.

YES! She looks like me without make-up… NOT GOOD! ha ha! A little goes a long way!!! Just put some eye liner and blush on Alba and you are good to go! What I don’t get is WHY celebrities go out in public with out an OUNCE of makeup on (at least put on some eyeliner) when they know they’ll be photographed and features on STARS WITHOUT MAKEUP in the next rag mag issue!
Gigi, I think it’s sad you feel the need to wear make up all the time. In fact,
too much make up is what damages your skin long term. I am lucky to have good skin
and feel comfortable not to go out with eyeliner (because so many people wear eyeliner
on a trip to the grocery store..c’mon!) Or blush. Did you ever think she doesn’t give a shit?
Or maybe she didn’t think the paparazzi would find following her into wholefoods or whatever grocery store entertaining?
Oooh grocery shopping fun. Either way, she is beautiful and doesn’t
need an OUNCE of make up. Plus, not all celebs feel the need to be contricted and let the possibility
of running into paparazzi rule their life.I respect that. Afterall, they are only human! Just because they are
celebrities, doesn’t mean the privacy deserves to be taken away from them.
I’m so sick of the whole ” they’re celebs, they asked for it. Paparazzi has gotten worse over the years and
dangerous. Celebs deserve to enjoy the normal everyday things of life to.
I feel sorry that you think she should put make up on in case of a grocery store “photo op!.”
Even worse that you have to wear make up all the time. That must suck.
I agree Gigi! I’m no celeb but never go out without make up because I’m not used to it. It also protects my skin from pollution and UVA rays.
Rachael- you should wear something that protect you from UVA and UVB rays. Both are
dangerous. Also, you can wear this thing called “sunblock” for that. Not everyone needs makeup
or feels like they need to put it on to run errands. She is beautiful without it! I feel bad for people who
can’t go to the store w/o anything on. You should be comfortable in your own skin! Or
get a new facial regime, like moisturizing, cleansing…etc. If you find the right products
then your skin might glow to and you may feel confident enough to leave the house bare-face
and natural.
Anne – thanks for the tips…… I do use sun block every day because my skin is naturally very pale. For this reason, if I go out bare faced, I look like a ghost!!!
And I agree with most people here……. Jessica is beautiful without makeup. I just think, as Gigi said, that is strange for a celeb to avoid looking their best knowing they might bump into paps (and they always do!).
Hey Rachael, you can always try a tinted sunblock to avoid the ghost look. I find clinique’s super city block gives a really nice matt finish as well as giving broad spectrum uva/uvb protection.
I also think she is really pretty w/o make-up. It shows she is a natural beauty. And to be honest, i was never too impressed by her, until now. So good job going out w/o make-up
I think she is very pretty without make-up.Not a “stop traffic” beauty, but still pretty, proving that make-up is not everything.

I think the only reason she looks depressed in these photos is because of her eyebrow shape, which sort of makes it look like she’s about to cry..in my opinion she is one of the few celebrities that can pull off little to no makeup and still look gorgeous.
She looks like a woman who was up all night with the baby and then had to get up and do shopping the next morning.
I’d love to know who on this page smiles all day even when doing the most mundane tasks. I can certainly put money on the fact that if she was indeed photographed smiling all the time you’d get ten million posts wondering why she’s so fake and doesn’t dial it down ten notches! You really can’t win.
Actually I find that if people want to dislike someone they’ll always find SOMETHING to complain about. Smile on her face? Yes, but look at those ankles! *eyeroll*
