How is that a Halloween costume? What is she supposed to be? It seems like some people just take Halloween as an opportunity to wear as little clothes as possible.
Ah, I see now. She’s a referee…
you have a good eye because i honestly could not figure this out.
i love guessing people’s costumes though. i hate being stumped lol
I wouldn’t either, but then I saw the wistle…but this is the only helpful hint ,o)
Thats so true, an opportunity to wear as little clothes and as much make up as possible…
She’s HOT btw
Hot figure, but the outfit sucks. It looks like it came from Ann Summers!
seriously. Let’s all pick a random persona and turn it into lingerie.
agree. you can’t even tell what she’s supposed to be.
She looks great. The white on black vertical stripes make her waist look even tinier.
I hate how every costume party is seen as an opportunity for girls to dress skanky. I think it says a lot about the person…
She has a great body, but the outfit is pathetic and she is wearing way too much makeup. Would it have killed her to wear even just a polo shirt with the outfit? A least it would be slightly more cute then, as opposed to straight out prostitute.
I thank god that the guys I know find girls who dress like this for attention hilarious and sad. A cute outfit is what appeals to the guys who aren’t out to give you a venereal disease.
god! where can i meet these guys!? i am sick of this trend too…only thing is i take bfs to parties where the girls are like this and they lurve it! ugh so annoying!
This reminds me of Mean Girls, the one night of the year where girls can dress slutty and get away with it.
Still not my cup of tea. I would much rather do somethine really creative like Heidi Klum does or something really scary, blood and gore the lot.
She does have a fantastic body though.
yea i agree! heidi always has awesome ideas! thats real cool and creative- she seems awesome and secure in herself so she doesnt feel the need to ‘prove how hot she is wearing next to nothing’ like every other girl on the planet. on the other hand i do think jessica is a hottie- great legs
i think she looks cute! haha, i guess i’m the only one so far who embraces the tiny costume trend. i think it’s fun and honestly if she’d been wearing regular shorts that short and a tank top during the summer i don’t think anyone would say much, even though it’s not much different.
I don’t see what’s wrong with her costume. Yeah it’s kind of silly. I wouldn’t wear it. But it’s not completely tacky. She’s wearing more clothes and covering up her bits better than Rihanna does on normal days.
I also don’t think it’s fair to assume that a girl has a slutty/whore personality simply because she chose to wear a provactive outfit on one night out of the year. For some people, that makes them feel sexy, and there is nothing wrong with that. Halloween is an excuse for them to wear something that makes them feel sexy because they don’t get a chance to wear sexy things normally.
Not all women get pleasure out of doing that, and not all women have the confidence to go out walking like that, and that’s fine. But it’s not fair to call the ones that do get a self-esteem boost out of it and ARE confident enough to wear it, “prostitutes.” They are just embracing their sexuality. If they want to feel good about themselves and that’s what makes them feel good, then I don’t care! Good for them.
I think she looks so cute and pretty and has a really nice body!call it slutty or not, it still looks good.
Versus, very good job with the Halloween celeb costumes! I really enjoyed it.
Thank you, I’m glad you liked the posts!
Pffft, if you got it, flaunt it.
Why not dress extremely sexy if you can? Who says it has anything to do with actual promiscuous behaviour?
I sense tons of jealousy in this page.
I agree completely!
Halloween is a fun night to let loose. You can’t judge someone for their costume choice. Hell, usually I’m pretty recluse and I’ll go as far and say geeky but on halloween I can dress pretty outrageously. Does that make me a slut? No, it does not.
Oh please. This is so typical. Anytime a female dislikes something about another female, she’s automatically jealous.
I guess it never occurred that maybe some people genuineness dislike it and have no desire to look like her, no?
But wait, I’m projecting my jealousy again. I can barely control it. It’s getting the best of me. God, I’m so jealous of her.
This. it reminds me of that crap we did in high school where anytime you disliked another girl, you’re oh-so-obviously jealous of her. maybe i don’t like her because she ran over my puppy with her car?! maybe i don’t like her because her breath singed my eyebrows? maybe i don’t like her because she stole my credit card and used it to purchase an albino alaskan sea squirrel? maybe i don’t like her because….i don’t like her.
next, you’re going to be called fat and/or anorexic.
regarding the outfit. no, i don’t like it, it’s not a style i like, it looks tacky, and i still don’t get what she’s supposed to be.
but i’m obviously jealous, so don’t mind me.
I too agree with this. It’s a shame how women behave like this. if every time someone says, “Oh, I don’t like that girl’s shoes.” she gets accused of being plagued by the illness known only as jealousy.
What if she just disliked the girl’s shoes?
I’m sure there are many people who hate my clothing choice but I don’t automatically enlarge my ego and think something as foolish as “she’s just jealous of my obvious super hotness.”
Perhaps she just dislikes the clothes I wore that day. It’s just an opinion.
And considering the entire purpose of this site is to voice opinions on the celebrities’ appearances…I mean, really. This is stupid. Am I supposed to love what every celebrity looks like for fear of being called jealous?
Not to suggest that nobody is ever jealous, but to automatically throw out that assumption because several people said they don’t like her outfit? By that logic, everybody who said they do like her outfit secretly thinks she’s ugly and know they look better than her. Reverse jealousy. Yes, it’s all stupid.
I would like to agree with Amie and say it’s just high school but unfortunately, no it’s not. It extends well past. We’re really our own worst enemy.
You never (rarely) see men accused of being jealous of one another.
I’m sorry for the novel but this is something that has always, and will continue, to pluck my nerve.
ha ha belle! so true ‘oh she’s obviously just jealous of my super hotness’ lol! love it! i cant stand it either…i do think Jess is a cutie- but i dont like this slutty halloween trend. i often get called jealous for not liking VS or fashion models’ bodies…but. i. just. dont. like. them. doesnt mean i am jealous! i was jealous of brits old bod! and im jealous of mila kunis’s face…but i am more than happy to admit to it =D…well said =o)
No, the point about it being jealousy is that – hey, you don’t like to dress in a provocative way for halloween? Great. No problem. I mean, it’s a prefference for yourself. You like it? Well, whatever floats your boat. See? This is a NORMAL, HEALTHY way to react.
But when it gets to the level of – Oh my GAWD, dressing like a SLUT, this says SO MUCH ABOUT THEIR PERSONALITY. All these SLUTTY young chicks out on halloween, they are such SLUTTY SLUT SLUTS.
There is just too much emotional baggage coming with statements of that caliber. There’s one thing to think it tacky, or boring, or lame. But when you get to the point where you judge their personality by their having fun in a certain way…. you’re kinda barking up the jealous tree.
I mean, take for example Lady Gaga’s way of dressing up. Do I like it? No. Would I start writing rants about what a big SLUT she is because she dresses like that? What the heck? This isn’t conservative muslim society, where we gauge people’s ethics by how much their wrists are showing, and what they are wearing.
WHUT? Of course not. It’s her choice. Clothes do not have inherent meaning to them. Only a jealous, or deeply repressed person could think they can tell if I’m a good person or not, by the lenght of my skirt on a HOLIDAY that PRIDES itself on wearing freaking COSTUMES.
Are you not doing what you’re condemning? You’ve judged the few posters (I’ve honestly only seen one or two people call her a slut here, most people just said they don’t understand or like her outfit) and have assumed they must have a “jealous deeply repressed personality” based on their post.
It seems kind of hypocritical to talk about not judging someone’s personality and then doing the same thing to them. You don’t know that they’re jealous or sexually repressed. You’ve made that assumption. Likewise, they don’t know she’s a “slut”, or a skank, they’ve made that assumption. Everyone makes assumptions about everyone on this site, myself included. It seems wrong to point fingers when you’ve done the same thing in the same breath.
First of all – one said they are sluts because they dress like that.
Another person said you might just catch some kind of veneral disease from them.
Plenty agreed with the general gist.
The difference is that I’m judging them by their words/actions (putting down women who dress provocatively) AKA material that’s indicative of what they think -
and they’re judging them by something that’s barely if any related to a person’s personality. Not only that, but they throw the antiquated notion of slut (which is a general put down for any woman, and has a definition that’s as vague as you can get – for one man a slut is someone who sleeps before marriage, for another it’s someone who sleeps with more then 5-10 people, for some it’s, apparently, daring to show above knee).
But go ahead and say ” no you” instead of actually adressing my points.
First of all – There is absolutely no reason to get nasty with me when I haven’t done it to you. Obviously, you’re not able to handle this discussion and have taken it personally so I’ll let you to your beliefs.
You’re welcome to try this again with me when we can discuss this like adults.
Well said, Amie. Well said.
I actually thought suzushii had made a few good points, even though I disagreed with her previous “everyone is jealous” comment but they were heavily overshadowed by the general childishness of her rant.
Perhaps you’d like to continue the discussion with me? (I promise, I won’t get nasty or personal.
) I really love debates.
Love to.
but i think this comment-thread is going to max out soon. i’ll make a new post and we can go there.
And how exactly am I acting childish?
Instead of adressing my points, you called me a hypocrite, for apparently doing the same thing the people I was critisising, were doing.
Did you really not see a world of difference? Heck, even if I WAS a hypocrite, that has nothing to do with the strenght on my points. Even hypocrites can be right.
Gosh people here as so supersensitive, instead of typing that out, I narrowed it down to what it is “no u” response aka, accusing me of doing what they were doing. How is that nasty?
I’ll also add I’ve not taken it personally at all. I personally dress pretty conservatively right now.
Learn some comprehension skills suzushii. I didn’t say you’d get a venereal disease from her, i said that the kind of guys that tend to go for this overly provocative look are the type to give you one. They only want one thing, and that’s sex, which is all this sort of costume advertises. If you want to wear it, fine, but to me I think it shows a lack of self confidence because you feel you have to be the overt playboy kind of sexy to get male attention, which just isn’t true. There are plenty of women out there who know that showing skin doesn’t always equal sexy.
I agree. I love dressing up in so called “slutty” costumes. However, this in now way means that I am a slut. It’s just all in good fun. And if you got it, flaunt it.
the outfit is tacky , but she has one of the best body i’ve seen , slim, toned, curvy , PERFECT !
where are the girls who take halloween actually as an opportunity to NOT be the sexy-pimped-version of themselfes for once, but scary, funny or simple someone else?? For gods sake, Halloween is about monsters!
Correction, Halloween is whatever you want it to be.
Is it so amazing to realise when you stop being a kid, you’re not so AWED by dressing up as a princess/cowboy anymore? That when you grow up, your sexuality might just, i dunno, be an integral part of your being?
Let’s face it, women face SO MUCH criticism if they flaunt their sexuality. They immediatelly get labels of sluttiness, or other such things. So most of us try to hide, or dampen our sexual sides, like it’s something SHAMEFUL. We obey rigid and constrictive dress codes at work – (pantyhose is the devil’s creation). I swear to god, my boobs are fine without a bra, not wearing one does not turn me into a slut, yet if you see the outline of the female nipple, most guys start acting like complete and utter idiots. So we hide our SHAMEFUL pendulating boobs, and delineated nipples in constricting things of metal and material.
Any woman here who DOESN’T feel ashamed if by chance she wasn’t wearing a bra, and started walking and GASP SHOCK HORROR her boobs started to jiggle? A perfectly natural reaction of two lumps of fat that are stuck on your chest, but god forbid you do that in public. I mean, you wouldn’t want to SCARR SOME POOR KID’S subconscious with the vision of boobs?
So yeah, repressed uberchristian society => women who go “wild” on the one day of the year when they can
So yeah, I’m SOOOO not surprised that so many women chose an extremely sexy outfit on Halloween. Here is one day where you can dress as OUTLANDISH as you want.
I LOVE YOUR COMMENT and completely agree.
I agree with you, klara.
But for some reason, those who do dress provocative get offended when others think ill of them. Just because it’s Halloween doesn’t mean the world is going to put their judgments on pause. They’re still there.
If I saw a woman who was dressed in rags walking down the street, I would think she were homeless.
If I saw a woman who was dressed in diamonds, I would think she were wealthy.
Likewise, if I saw a woman walking down the street in lingerie and 5″ pumps, I’d have an opinion of her as well.
It’s not something that can be turned off and excused because it’s Oct. 31st. If somebody wants to dress up like a lion or an alien or a sexy little bunny, then she needs to realize that she’s still up for scrutiny just as in everyday life no matter WHAT she wears. It’s part of life.
So the “don’t think I’m a (whatever) because I dress like (whatever)” is a little silly. If somebody doesn’t know you, has never spoken to you and your physical appearance is all they have to go on then…what do you expect?
I’m not aiming this just towards the revealing halloween costumes, but all of them.
Like how people look at Heidi Klum’s outfit and think she must have a fun awesome personality because of it, same thing is going to apply to other people.
But back to the point (i’m longwinded, i’m sorry lol) i agree with you.
I think the problem here is thinking it’s completely OK to scrutinise the hell out of any person you see by WHAT YOU SEE.
You see, it kinds of gets you in the job of ASSUMING, and you know how the saying goes.
What you end up doing is not actually realising anything about the person, but most likely feeding into your own PREJUDICES (and we all have them, the point is not to let them actually lead our actions).
The problem with judging people on how they look, is that most likely you’re WRONG.
See, I’ve often had people assume I’m stupid, because they thought I was pretty. I’ve had people assume I was a bitch, because I’m not the smiley, very feminine person most chicks are – my natural face’s expression is apparently looking sad/angry/tired. I get asked if I am sick/angry/tired so many times, it’s ridiculous. I had people assume I was snobby because I like preppy clothes. I’ve had people assume I’m a slut because I simply wore a mini skirt (a tasteful one mind one). My fashion is very varied, from rock outfits, to preppy, to elegant, to hobo chic. You cannot imagine how people people ASSUMED I was some kind of stereotype, which is amazing, since they ASSUMED stuff up to which school I went to (or didn’t) and if I’m promiscuous or not.
And let’s get into the lovely other bit of assuming – I’ve been assumed a thief because my skin tone was darker. I’ve had people shy away their children when I was a child, because I was darker.
Now, some of this judging by looking, it’s really ingrained in us. You can’t help to fall back on it. I think everyone does it, as a knee jerk reaction. The thing that separates us civilised people from a bunch of assuming prejudiced people is that we STOP, and think again, and don’t fall on those opinions like they represent the truth.
And finally, I’ve never heard anyone be upset because someone THINKS they look slutty. Obviously you’d need to SHOW your dissaproval in such a way that they notice your thoughts. Which gets me to the most important thing:
If you want to think me, or someone else is slutty
(and I assure you, there are a couple million people NOW who think YOU are a slut, for daring to have an opinion of all things) keep it to yourself. How people dress is NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS.
suzushi- i do agree with you that people should not judge others by their looks. but i also agree with Amie that judgement does not go out the window because of the date. I like little costumes etc…but i try keep them in the bedroom…i dont want to put forth a persona that i dont want ppl to know me by…sad, but its true. if i pick up a guy when i am wearing a tiny halloween costume, he is most likely not going for me due to personality, or even my ‘good looks’ per se…but more because i LOOK ‘easy’. yes, it may be wrong but its what happens. The only reason i dont like this ‘trend’ is because I feel that girls feel the need to dress this way to ’seek validation’ from male counterparts. I feel these days women actually do feel more of a NEED to dress and even act more premiscuous to get more attention from men. because we are told ‘men want sex’. then they justify it with ‘women get repressed and cant flaunt their sexualities because they get labelled ’sluts’ ‘ which is very true. very tru. (I am not saying you personally, you may hav this view and thats fine, but it doesnt mean all women that dress this way feel the same way as you)…BUT at the same time, women are becoming more and more objectified and sexualized. they are not becoming ‘equal’ due to their flaunted sexuality…tehy are becoming less equal because men are being told ‘women are just for sex. they are objects. this is what they want. take advantage. they are sex.’
I agree with you, Ami.
People judge based on appearance, particularly if they don’t know the person. You go to a job interview and you dress professionally. Why? Because they’re –to some extent– judging you on appearance. You see someone you’re attracted to who you don’t know, and you’ve judged that person on appearance.
Some are positive judgments, some are negative, but they occur. I don’t believe anyone for one second who insists they have never judged anyone on appearance.
Anyone who acts pretentious about it and pretends they don’t, is either a liar or a fool…Or more likely, a bit of both.
Amen, Juliet, I second you 100%. It’s not natural to not have an opinion about somebody, even if that opinion is based only on their appearance.
“Anyone who acts pretentious about it and pretends they don’t, is either a liar or a fool…Or more likely, a bit of both.”
Among other things…and that’s putting it nicely.
I don’t get why people are taking comments made about Jessica and then turning it personally about them and their life. Some people need to get over themselves. I thought this was about Jessica.
I assume because they think somebody cares. I don’t know who would.
Not to mention, I haven’t seen Amie call anyone here a slut, whore, skank, floozy, vixen, b*tch, dirt-licking fish sucker, or say that she thought Jessica was any of the above for her outfit, so I don’t understand what this asinine ego war is about. Though it’s highly entertaining.
At least until The Simpsons comes on. They’re more entertaining.
Belle: I don’t know. I don’t know what I’ve said to make people think I’m seriously interested in hearing their life stories or that they actually matter to me.
Juliette:
No, I have not called anyone any of those names. I think it’s all just baseless ranting and b****ing that I’ve kind of become increasingly bored of.
Just another Halloween lingerie costume. Very unique
Her body looks great, btw.
I agree, I think the corset is adorable.
i actually don’t think her outfit is slutty. yes, its sexy but truth is, you can only see like half of her legs and slight cleavage. and other than the fact she’s wearing way too much make up, it’s actually not too bad. annalynne mccord looks slutty. jessica here doesn’t. oh, she’s definitly the prettiest and the hottest girl on 90210. actually she got no competition. other girls don’t look this good. lol.
i so agree with you! she is sexy sexy sexy! i love her! gorgeous bod and sexy face! i dont see the big deal with Annalynne- i find her too skinny and shapeless and i dont like her face. but her hair and attitude make her i guess…
I personally think that Halloween should be about dressing up in scary or funny costumes. It seems to me that some girls and women use Halloween as an opportunity to dress as much like a ho-bag as possible. Question: would you approve of your daughter dressing like this? Now I’m a little older and I have a child so I’m coming from a different point of view and I see this as just another attempt by girls and woman to get more attention. It’s getting worse every year. And this is my opinion, so please, don’t go jumping down my throat.
And by the way, Is Jessica actually dressing up as a character, or just putting this outfit together?
if my daughter was 18 or over.. I WOULD NOT CARE AT ALL.. id help her dress up. sorry your post made me laugh
I agree. Halloween didn’t start out as young girls running around in skimpy clothes, did it??? Nope. Are Halloween MOVIES about young girls running around in skimpy outfits?? Um, no. That’s for, I dunno, every other day of the year, at least that’s what it seems like. They’re about monsters and well, scary things. So, yes, this is by no means a Halloween costume. She is parading around in lingerie and calling it a “costume” because she wants to show off or something, which is wow, supposed to be cool or something? Please.
You admit it yourself, it didn’t START out as a holiday for adults.
But guess what – just because something was ina way, at a certain point, doesn’t mean it’s not going to change.
Imagine a bunch of angry Zoroastrians being annoying that halloween is a holyday for kids to dress up as their favourite Disney movie, when initially it was a very important RELIGIOUS holiday.
Yet times change, people change, religions dissapear, and now, it’s what it is, not what you want it to be.
Huh? Um, ok…if that’s what you think. It’s not what I think, but whatever. And yes, it did start out as an adult holiday,as a festival of the DEAD, to be exact.
well, ITS NOT anymore… traditions change.
Yes, clearly. Apparently, it’s been morphed into something so different it may as well be the 4th of July, or some other holiday I guess. I wonder why the meaning of the that holiday, along with others, has stayed intact.
LOL, don’t worry, even 4th of July might become something different. After all, America is ~400 years old – a baby on the history scene.
Compare that to Halloween, which has roots of 2000+ years and has passed through many changes.
I pointed to the old roots of the Halloween for a purpose. You’re indignant because it changed from your youth. But the thing YOU consider the ESSENCE of halloween is itself a change from an earlier stage. People hundreds of years ago would be AGHAST at little kids dressing up as monsters, the thing you youself find that defines halloween.
The point is – you can’t decide what halloween is, it’s not one person’s perception. If people want to turn it into a simple “get into a costume” party excuse, then that’s what it will turn into. Wheather the minority who don’t, like it or not.
I’m indignant? Um, no, I’m not even talking about my youth, not for a second. I’m just talking about the initial principle of the matter, which is why I brought up the other holidays. So, yeah.
Actually, “Halloween” did start out for adults. That was, of course, after it came from Celtics and turned into parties and costumes. Adults actually held the parties in their homes and did activities like bobbing for apples and telling scary stories. Then, it became impractical to continue this, so they sent their kids out to trick or treat. it took a while for adults to realize they wanted to join in. Even though people still judge others on Halloween, it really is the only night that someone can let loose.
“Question: would you approve of your daughter dressing like this?”
Before a certain age, no I would not approve of her dressing like this, but only because I don’t think children should be sexualised, and not because I think it is wrong for a woman(which J.L. most certainly is, seeing as how she’s almost 21
) to dress in such a fashion if she so chooses. I also wouldn’t approve of her(or my sons) acting as if it is wrong for women to choose this type of attire and them being judgmental of and demeaning towards those women(I really hope I will raise my boys better than that). I would rather my kids hung out with “slutty” women that are nice people than for them to hang out with people that claim to be “nice people”(aka, “moral”) but feel they need to judge and demean those that don’t fit in with their value system. IMO, to treat people like dirt because of their choices that do not harm anyone in any way, shape or form is worse than being deemed a “slut” because of how you dress for a holiday or for just plain fun and because you enjoy showing off your “assets”
Ah Instant, wonderful comment! It sounds as if you will raise your sons to be real men, not boys who see a woman who is wearing little and think, “Oh I can hit that.”
As for the people who are saying Halloween is not for women to dress up as wh***s, alright fine, but then, what exactly is Halloween according to you guys?
When Halloween was first created, it was not about dressing up as anything. No scary costumes, no funny costumes, no any costumes. It was not about trick or treating. And in most places today, it’s still not about those things.
Halloween, like every other holiday, is what people choose it to be. If in some cultures Halloween is about dressing up in lingerie-like clothing, so what? Haven’t you guys heard of Mardi Gras or Carnival? In those cultures, women are supposed to dress in as little clothing as possible (much less than Jessica is wearing here) and they are celebrated for it. And in other cultures you won’t find holidays like that.
What I’m trying to say is, because Halloween is a holiday, people will choose to celebrate it in different ways depending on their values and culture, and no one way is “correct” over another way. So it doesn’t make sense to say that people are “supported” to do this or something is not what a holiday is about. Maybe to you it’s not, but to others it is! And it’s also nonsensical to judge someone’s personality based on how they dress one day in a year. Rihanna wears much more tasteless clothing throughout the entire year but gets labeled as “fashion-forward,” but Jessica chooses to embrace a certain way of celebrating Halloween, so she’s a wh***? That’s just ridiculous!
Kae, I am moderating Xo’s comments from now on. Only the ones that are not offensive to anyone will be approved. Please comment again, you’re one of our regulars
I will make sure that only respectable comments will be posted, I’m sorry if those comments upset you (or anyone else).
well they did upset me ! and Kae yeah I am just 20 and I would never dress like that Halloween is not an excuse to look trashy it’s like being a b*** only in saturdays wtf someone said that everything is changing well somethings aren’t sopposed to I just want to say something GOD BLESS HEIDI CLUM
and Kae just because u’re alittle older it doesn’t mean that ur voice/words can’t be heard by girls at thier 20s
I THINK DRESSING UP FOR HALLOWEEN IS GREAT FUN! SO WHAT IF GIRLS DRESS UP “SLUTTY” AND WEAR ALOT OF MAKE-UP?!? AS LONG AS ITS NOT A REGULAR BASIS? ppl are weirdly prude on this sight.. or sad fatties who would never look good dressed like that so they bash it, its sad..
JESSICA LOWNDES IS GORGEOUS! i dont love her outfit though.. not that its “slutty’ COULD CARE LESS AND I DONT EVEN THINK ITS THAT REVEALING.. just that the top looks like a naughty french maid and bottom looks referee-ish.. kinda mismatched
Congratulations, you’ve proven my point. If a person on this site disagrees, she’s fat…or in your words “a sad fattie”
I would comment more, but I suspect you’re only 12 and have the maturity of a 12 year-old.
I will never understand why someone can’t just dislike something without being jealous/fat/anorexic or some other variation.
Now that is what’s sad.
By the way, I honestly did not mean the age comment to be a dig at you. I do think you’re someone younger. I realized it may across the wrong way so I wanted clarify it.
I bet youre over 150 pounds.
Xo, this is not appropriate. Firstly, because you are on a site that promotes different shapes and sizes, not just one – plus, 150 is perfectly healthy and fine for many women, even low for some, but you intended to offend with this number and it’s not right.
And neither is “sad fatties”.
Thank you for your understanding.
This poster loves to offend and stir the pot. I have no desire to communicate with this type of person so I will no longer be making comments on this site. It’s so not worth it.
Good luck with the website Versus.
Xo, I don’t like doing this, but you comments will go to moderation first from now on because several posters have complained (here, but not only) about your posts being offensive. If your comments are not offensive / insulting / etc, they will be approved.
Thank you.
CORRECTION. I said a PRUDE, or a sad fattie.. but I’m guessing youre both..
Really? How immature is this? This is so stupid. A lot of people here need to grow up.
She is soooooooooooo pretty…and so sexy
and she can wear whatever the hell she wants
Love her body,too
*waits for Belle*
By the way, I’m class right now so if takes me long to comment, I’m sorry. I’ll be back.
Jealous or not jealous?
Slutty or not slutty?
My take:
Not jealous. This is just a freaking huge pet peeve of mine when every girl starts out a response with “she’s just jealous.” It drives me up the wall. It really does.
Not slutty.
I get the point you made, I think to someone else (?) about if you don’t know someone, all you have to judge them on is their appearance which I know I’ve done too.
But oppositely, if this person only dresses like this one day out of the year, then that probably means she’s not a slut. I also generally dislike the term slut. Men are studs if they bed several women, but women are sluts? I hate that too.
There’s nothing wrong with being sexually aware however…I do think some women go about it the wrong way. Look at Angelina, she’s (was???) pretty sexual and everyone loves it. Lindsay Lohan, who also comes across as pretty sexual is considered a whore.
Weird. I think we agree on both terms. This is going to be the world’s shortest debate lol.
All I’m saying is that people are going to judge you no matter what you wear. If you dress conservatively, you’re a prude. If you dress revealing, you’re a slut. If you dress differently, you’re weird and so forth.
At some point, people need to recognize that what you put out is what people are going to take out of this.
If I didn’t know Jessica (which I don’t) and I saw her at a Halloween party dressed like this, to be perfectly honest, I’d think she did so out of looking for male attention. Not necessarily a “slut”, though. I also hate that stigma.
As I mentioned earlier, if I saw Heidi Klum dressed as a crow as she did, I would think she didn’t take herself seriously and would probably find her interesting because of that.
If I don’t know you and all I have to go on is your appearance then, really what’s to be expected?
I like this idea can I join?
I guess many ppl took offense by my comment, I apologize.. I suppose I get extremely heated regarding this topis, because I despise how so many women scrutinize others because they dress provocatively. It is Halloween and I see the human body as a beautiful thing, not something that must be covered up or youre quickly labeled a Wh*re. I believe that our ideals are completely out of whack. The other night, I was wathcing a Halloween movie, 13 ghosts that had been edited for TV.. In one scene, it usually shows a half naked Gohst with her bare breasts exposed, OF COURSE the censored it but the showed a man get sliced in half as the viewers could watch half of his bloody, gruesome body sliding off.. NOT CENSORED. I just dont see any problem with a woman wanting to flaunt her body and believe she should be able to do so without sad INDIVIDUALS quickly snapping “SL*T” GENERALLY speaking, the catty women who make these comments are either a) PRUDE, or religious. B) a woman that could NEVER get away with dressing like that, but deep down inside she’d love to so bashes it as a defense mechanism.. Should have probably taken the time to explain myself better, but was in a rush and obviously cam off as a rude 12 year old hahaha. so APOLOGIES : )
i highly agree with you comment.
i think some of you forget that its FUN to dress up for halloween. lingerie or not.
people are not going out and dressing up in normal people clothes. if they choose to dress provocatively then MORE POWER TO THEM. FAT OR SKINNY.
its halloween. give them a break.
I think it’s really awesome you apologized. It takes a lot to admit fault.
She looks very good!I always LOVED her face, but know I also really like her body!!!The outfit is a bit too sexy, but she pulls it of…
@Versus:I know that some people will start saying I ‘m stupid to say this, but can you make a post with KimK in her halloween costume?
I don’t think that’s stupid at all. Did you see Tyra dressed up as Kim and actually looked like her!
thanks for the support!xD
As much as dislike Vanessa whatserface, her Halloween costume was pretty good.
I think Jess looks great and women can wear whatever they like on Halloween for all i care, but i just find the lingerie theme a little boring. Sexy nurse / police etc costumes are at least usually very.. costume-like, but the outfit Jess is sporting i.e. looks just like ordinary (though not the everyday stuff) lingerie, plus the socks and whistle to make her a referee. Scary or funny or neither, but i love seeing people morphe into different creatures, different personas, it’s like a fairytail or a movie
I think she is sexy and i love her halloween outfit. Her legs look toned and built with muscles..its hollywood people the celebrities will use any chance to be almost naked showing breasts or legs and use lots of make up,they sell their images,so image means money.Nowdays directors producers are looking for girls who would sell themselves for fame money. Its like prostitution…sometimes worse.
Hm and people wonder where little girls like Noah Cyrus got the idea to parade around in a skimpy witch costumes for Halloween. Just a thought, nothing offensive meant.
Since I’m not feeling the costume thing I’m just going to comment on how she looks, and in all honesty her legs are thick but I don’t see any muscle or tone really.
Doe, I agree with your general sentiment, but I think the reason why Noah Cyrus is parading around in a skimpy witch costume is not because of adults wearing them, but because she doesn’t have a parent/adult around to…well, parent.
Jessica Lowndes is an adult, so there is nothing wrong with her wearing lingerie. It is acceptable, as lingerie was made for adults. She is also not a celebrity that appeals to kids…she plays a character on 90210 which is targeted at a much older age than Noah Cyrus.
Why Noah Cyrus would look up to people like her and why her parents aren’t explaining to her why it’s not okay to do that, and protecting their daughter from being overly sexualized at the age of 9…that’s their fault and responsibility. You can’t forbid adults from doing adult things (sex, drinking alcohol, gambling, staying up all night, running with scizzors…etc) just because there is a possibility that kids will start doing it. It’s up to the parents to raise their kids, not the general public.
Maybe her parents said nothing but my point is where she got THE IDEA to wear it, and that’s it.
So her parents are irrelevant if she if she hadn’t even had THE IDEA to wear it in the first place.
My opinion is unchanged, and it will remain that way no matter what you say.
Okay. I know there’s a lot of arguing on this thread, but I’m not trying to start a fight with you or anything.
I guess we have a difference of opinion. I just really feel that the parents are not irrelevant. As long as kids have ears and eyes they will see all sorts of things that they will want to imitate and get all sorts of ideas. It’s up to the parents to teach them what’s acceptable or not; that’s a responsibility parents take when they make the decision to have kids. Jessica Lowndes is not trying to be a role model for kiddies or give them ideas, so it’s unfair to blame just her. (shrug)
well i want to say is that i think she looks good and as far as women dressing like this, who are we to say she is a whore or looks like one just because she wants to be sexy? it’s not like she dress like this on a daily basis. i don’t think young girls under 18 should dress like this but when you’re an adult you should be able to dress whatever the hell you want. you don’t have to dress like some zombie or monster to appeal to holloween. i don’t see anything whorish with her costume and i don’t think there’s nothing wrong with a woman being sexy. i think it’s sad that women are constantly judged for dressing a certain way. like it or not it’s a choice. do i think she’s a whore? no because i don’t know anything about her at all. i understand we all have our opinions and whatnot but for some, and i mean SOME, to say she’s this or that because of how she looks is ridiculous. it’s holloween and i think people, men or women, should dress whatever they want and people should go about their business and judge someone because of how they look, how they dress, etc. i probably wouldn’t dress like her but i wouldn’t criticize her for it because that’s what she chose to wear. i’m not going my panties in a bunch about it. and i agree with casey, women in other cultures dress up in little clothing and not everyone makes a big deal out of it because it’s a part of their culture. you may not like it but others will and i think at the end of the day we shouldn’t judge someone or assume she’s this or that just as much you wouldn’t like someone judging you. i don’t think the ones that don’t like it are haters or jealous but i don’t see what’s the big deal? it’s holloween.
My comment said I wonder where she got the idea from, nothing blaming Jessica herself. Like it or not, trying to be or not, kids see her and will get the idea that’s all my point is.
It was as I said though “just a thought” nothing to be over-analyzed or skewed, so obviously I’m not trying to start an argument either.
i think she looks great amazing figure
Yes, Jessica Lowndes looks great in that custome and shows off her good pair of legs.
Greetings from Peru.
FAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
you are joking,arent you?
