Ashlee Simpson: “My Sister Has an Incredible Body”

People Magazine’s got Ashlee’s words:
The Simpson ladies have been through their fair share of ups and downs this past year, but one thing they can always rely on? Each other. In fact, Ashlee, who’s reportedly set to make her Broadway debut as Chicago’s Roxy this December following the wrap of her role on Melrose Place, is defending her big sis in the December issue of Women’s Health. “My sister has an incredible body. I feel sorry for anyone who would judge her, because she’s one sexy lady,” the actress, 25, says of Jessica, who’s made headlines for her weight fluctuation. “It’s disgusting that people would say those things.”
And, as for her own body image, Simpson-Wentz adds the only person she wants to look good for is herself – and her husband, of course. “Pete isn’t worried about stretch marks,” the mother of 1-year-old Bronx says. “He always makes me feel sexy… There’s gonna be a time when I’m way curvier, and that’ll be sexy too. What defines sexy is not someone’s weight. Personally I like curves.

It’s about time Ashlee defended her sister. She usually has nothing to say.
“Personally I like curves.” –coming from someone who used to be gorgeously curvy but who now resembles a stick figure..
Maybe she likes curves, she just doesn’t like them on herself. Which really isn’t a bad thing. Like, pink is a nice color on other people but if it gets anywhere near my clothes I want to vomit.

I don’t agree with what she is saying. I don’t think people have to like Jessica’s figure, and it’s okay for them to say that and say they prefer old Jessica. But I think Ashlee is right for anyone who makes absolute statements like “Jessica is ugly/fat/unattractive.” Just because she is not attractive to them doesn’t mean she is not attractive to others.
Isn’t that a contradiction?
No, I don’t think C was being contradictory. When Ashlee said “I feel sorry for anyone who would judge her, because she’s one sexy lady”, it’s like she’s saying that everyone should think Jessica is sexy too, so it’s wrong for her to think that everyone should think the same thing about Jessica. But she’s right that people that have to be insulting about their opinion of Jessica are being disgusting. That’s how she’s wrong and right, at least I think that’s what C means

I think a lot of people(Ashlee included here) misuse the term “judge”. It isn’t just a negative thing to do, when you state a positive opinion you are “judging” too. Call people out for what they are actually doing, “insulting”, not “judging”, that would make a better statement I think. But still wrong though, because it would still imply that everyone would have to think Jessica is sexy

I actually like Jessica and think she takes a lot of undeserved hits. I don’t know how she manages to remain so optimistic and sweet all the time.
I like how these sisters are close and always stick up for each other.

Jessica’s toes are trying to escape
of the two simpson sisters, i’d say jessica’s hotter.. only because she’s had way less plastic surgery and bears some semblance to what she should naturally look like. i’m starting to believe young hollywood moms get so thin right after giving birth cuz they finally get to snort coke again… harsh, but probably (sadly) true.

i dont get why people call jessica fat cause shes curvy personaly jessica has a nice figure and ive always thought she had great legs i think ashle is to thin though but its upto her aslong as your comftable with the way you look who cares what other people say
