Ashlee Simpson celebrated her 25th birthday at the Wet Republic pool at the MGM Grand Hotel/Casino in Las Vegas yesterday – and her sister joined the fun!

Wow, Jessica looks so big next to her sister.. I’m not saying she’s fat but the contrast is very noticable. And what a hell is she wearing? Upgraded patatoe sack?

How is it possible that a millionaire can dress in a curtain?! What the hell, man?! Jessica has a rockin’ body and such a pretty face and she choses the worst possible outfits. Ashlee looks really pretty and thin, but I’m not a fan of jumpsuits, they’re just hideous.
Ashlee looks so pretty. I just can’t get over how different she looks compared to a couple years ago, facial and bodywise.
Yes. I remember Aslee used to say that she feels so awkward and boyish next to pretty and feminine Jessica, but now she’s the stylish feminine one while Jess is the weird one.
She has had far too much plastic surgery. I personally think it’s sad what she has done to her face. She took away all of her uniqueness and traded it for a cliche. She was pretty before she did it to herself- plastic surgery does not make someone attractive because it is not really them.
Jessica looks HUGE compared to Ashlee!
Jess’s outfit is a no. The boxy black fabric makes her middle look even larger. Her legs are meaty, not long and slim, so the slit is not helping either. And it cover her boobs, the best asset she has to offer.
A belted sundress cover up would have been so much better.
Again Jessica is my girl, but between us her outfit, not so poppin && and there is a big difference body wise between the two sisters, but again you have to remember they have different body types.
Ashlee is hotter.. it also kinda sucks for Jessica that the hotter, skinnier sister has given birth.
Yes, but they have different body types. Ashlee is naturally slimmer than Jessica so she will recover better after giving birth.
It’s not really body type that determines how much better or quicker you will recover after birth, it’s how you treated your body during pregnancy. Ashlee’s body type is the kind that will go back to, or close to, her pre-pregnancy body, but that doesn’t necessarily mean she “recovers better” from pregnancy. I recovered very well from my first pregnancy, but my body wasn’t the same as it was before, I got rounder and slightly bigger hips, shapelier and bigger bum, a little bit more up top, I felt that I looked better after my first child, actually glad that I didn’t “recover better” back to my pre-pregnancy body
Body type and genetics are huge factors when considering how a woman recovers from giving birth. Yes, lifestyle is a factor as well.
I’m sorry, maybe I’m misinterpreting what you mean by “recovers from”/”recovers better”. Do you mean going back to pre-pregnancy body, or getting back in shape even if it means you aren’t back to your pre-pregnancy body? I interpreted as you saying going back to pre-pregnancy body, which makes it seem like that is more desirable than getting back in shape even if it means you aren’t back to your pre-pregnancy body?
I meant getting back into shape after giving birth. I think Ashlee is actually thinner than when she first got pregnant but I could be wrong about that one. I don’t really follow her career but she seems thinner to me and has always been slighter than her sister. I think Jessica has a naturally curvier figure and this body type tends to have a tougher time. I was the same way and most of my friends and family who are built this way tend to have to work harder. I’m not sure what Ashlee’s natural body shape is. By looking at her I’d say a ruler?
Anyway, some people are made to maintain more weight on their bones. It will be interesting to see how Jessica’s body reacts to any future pregnancies. Whatever happens, I’m sure the press will be all over her and I feel bad for her.

Some women go back to pre-pregnancy body, some get thinner, and some get fuller, and Jessica does look like the type to get fuller.

It almost looks like The pictures were taken separately and then pasted together. Even Jessica’s head and hands look enormous. Look at the difference!
I still think Jessica has a better body. She just has NO idea how to dress.

Ashlee must have struck a deal with the devil because I never thought the day would come when she would stand beside her sister and look better. But she look amazing here compared to Jessica. Not to say that Jessica is ugly, but she has gained quite a bit of weight, and that thing she is wearing is not looking good on her at all.

second) jessica looks at least twice bigger than her sister (i don’t think she’s fat..she’s just so big compared to her, even her head is two times bigger..or maybe it’s ashley who is too tiny..)
third) jessica’s outfit is terrible..but it’s so her style..which is a shame, she could look so much better with the right style
Actually eventhough they’re bigger than ashlee I think her legs look good, they look toned and healthy. Just because she’s heavier than ashlee doesn’t mean she’s overweight. While I’m usually on the campaign for thin, I actually think jessica looks pretty good here and I don’t really notice ashlee so much, evebthough jessica could’ve done with a better outfit choice.
Jessica will always be the prettier sister to me. Jessica is just a natural beauty. Ashlee is so stylish and being so thin she looks good in anything. They both have their styles. Love them both.

the reason why jess looks bigger than ashlee is cause of the angle of the picture. jess is a little in the front makeing her look overall bigger. what shes wearing is very unflattering. she says that shes gonna make a line for woman to make them look good depending on their shapes but she doesnt even know how to flatter hers. she would look HOT in some bootcut jeans and a nice tight shirt or blouse.
ashlee looks ok in pics but i saw her in melrose plase and she looks very blah!

Well, Ashlee looks good with the hat and all, but Jessica really scares me … she does not know how to work her curves. The WTF under the curtain is horrible – doesn´t she remember, that these high waisted pants (longer) started all this drama about her weight? … but I like the glasses and shoes on her …

It’s interesting just that Jessica knows she is overweight and dresses for it. She wants to show some legs, but she knows she can’t without looking too large. As a result, she covers up with the potato sack thing to cover up her actual size.
Uh, Jessica’s not overweight. Yea, she’s bigger than her sis, but that doesn’t equal overweight.
i honestly dont see much difference in size at all! except for maybe the legs…but even then it aint a huge difference imo…its just that hollywood has such a small window of opportunity for weight…also jess’s legs look awesome! both are pretty girls
Jessica’s head looks freakin’ HUUUGGEE!!! So does she herself, actually.
Personally, I prefer Jessicas’ face and body over Ashlees’. She just looks healthier overall and still has uniqueness to her face, while Ashlee turned into a bit of a cookie cutter beauty.
