Jessica Simpson Goes Makeup-less

Jessica Simpson allowed her face to breathe a little bit yesterday, when she went out makeup-less.
She’s naturally very pretty, she looks younger fresh-faced and she really doesn’t need much make-up to look her best.

She is a natural beauty. I wish she’d realize that and quit allowing herself to be so heavily patted down with makeup.
I do know that she’s alienated a lot of her fans from her shenanigans. I do know on a JS fansite that’s extremely popular, a lot of her fans are fed up with her, especially with that recent candle-ear whatever video. And her failure to show gratitude for an expensive present they bought her.
She really needs to get her act together before she loses them for good.
Are u talking about SK.net? I remember she mentioned that site in an interview. if so she’s in trouble. It’s a bad sign when you anger your biggest fansite.
She is very pretty but it’s overshadowed by her ditziness. I used to think it was just an act for the show or maybe because she was young (was young like in her early 20s I mean, not now) but she hasn’t grown out of it.
and giant OMG at that ear candle vid!! She looked like an irritating idiot! I’m sure she’s a wonderful person but she’s feeding this negative image of her by doing stuff like that.
and tweeting that vid directly after the Brittany Murphy one was so tactless…

Sort of, it’s actually the MB associated with that site, but I guess it’s the same thing.
Awhile ago they pulled together some money, I don’t know how much, but judging from how angry they all were, I’ll assume it was a lot — to buy her a bracelet for her birthday during the summer(? I think it’s the summer? I just know it was her birthday)
Anyway, the girl who runs that site knows Jessica’s publicist or something, she has direct contact to Jessica. The girl who runs the site sent her the bracelet but nobody has heard back from Jessica. Not a thank you, a photo of it or anything. The publicist says she physically handed her the bracelet and sent her thanks by way of her.
Speaking of Brittany Murphy, a lot of her fans wrote the were upset about the video following the Brittany Murphy message and thought it was insensitive. They also dislike her Tweets (is that what those are called?) in general because she always comes across like an idiot in them and then Perez Hilton and US Magazine gets a hold of them, calls her an idiot, and she gets upset.
Basically they’re upset cause she won’t drop the ditz image and she’s neglecting her fans and she “gives up” (their words not mine) on everything she pursues that doesn’t go her way. Like her last two albums and all of her movies, if they don’t do well, she kind of sweeps them under the rug.
Sorry for the novel, I used to (…or am..I can’t decide anymore) be a huge fan of hers. I’m glad I didn’t chip in on that bracelet or I would be livid.
Also, every year the girl who owns the site scraps together a kind of um…I don’t what it’s called, like a scrapbook but not really (?) of messages and fan photos to give to her, and again, she never really responds to them.
Lastly, I think they’re upset because a lot of other artists like Alicia Keys use Twitter to directly communicate with their fans. Alicia Keys seriously wished me happy birthday once when I sent her a message about it. Jessica doesn’t do that.
In short, she’s losing her fans. The very few fans she has left.
wow…well she is seen as a walking punchline by the media. i don’t think i’ve ever read a positive article about her ever since The Newlyweds. and like you said, she does bring this on herself. the media has a short attention span. i think if she’d try to change her image she’d do better.
and that’s sad if she is losing fans. i’m not a fan of hers but i can understand why they’d be upset.

I couldn’t even watch more then 45 seconds of that video. HOW IRRITATING! The whining and the drama. The whole 45 seconds that I watched it, I was also wondering why Ken is letting her walk around with terrible roots like that. He should have stuck a few highlights in while he was over there!!

She looks lovely without makeup. she needs to touch up those roots though. is her hair naturally black? I thought it was brown but it looks black here.
Im sure its brown,but the contrast with that yellow makes it look darker.

I think she looked a lot better before she butchered her face with botox or whatever she did to it. Or maybe it was from the weight gain/loss/yo-yo ing. She looks rough in my opinion.
I’ve always loved her without make up. I remember seeing her on Newlyweds, just hanging around the house in pajamas with no make up looking so beautiful and cute naturally. Not many people have such a great skin/complexion to be able to pull of the fresh face and bare look without feeling self conscious. She truly has great skin and should go without make up more often.

She looks good IMO just pink. Hey versus I really would like to know what body type I am. I’ve always been confused sometimes I think i’m an apple and sometimes a ruler or an inverted triangle. I am 5ft tall and atm I am 110 lbs so I look kinda chubby when I gain weight it goes straight to my thighs, butt and tummy its all mostly in my thighs and tummy though. I pretty much have no hips and I have very small calves when i’m at my regular weight which is 100 lbs I look mostly straight thats why i’m thinking i’m a ruler but I kinda have a big back. These are my measurements atm chest 33 waist 27 1/2 and 35.
It is very hard to tell in your case, because you might be an inverted triangle (in case your shoulders look wider than your hips and you’ve got medium / large bust) or a ruler (in case shoulders = hips) or an apple (in case your bust is smaller and your belly looks big compared to it). You should consider the shape you have when you are at your natural, comfortable weight.
Hmm I guess I can eliminate apple..i’m thinking I am an inverted triangle but very very close to a ruler either way my shape sucks LOL I hate my back and shoulders. Right I look curvier but its not natural its mostly the fat on my thighs and butt that make me look like that. Thanks.

I thank God I took after my mom and dad who are highly intelligent because Lord knows I burned some brain cells watching her candle wax video. She used to be gorgeous until she conformed and became another lost soul in Hollywood. When I mean conformed I mean you know using excessive amounts of botox?! (don’t know if she really did) and injecting the stupid restyline into her lips No Bueno

i never thought of her as a beauty with or without make-up, i think she’s just regular. But i think her face looks good without make-up. A lot of celebrities look awful without make-up, even the young ones, because of a lot of make up they wear in movies, on stage, red carpets, etc, their skin usually looks bad, even old. And Jess here looks kinda fresh, good skin)
