Skinny VS Curvy

Jessica is one of the most reputable yo-yo dieters in Hollywood, no doubt about that. Even though she was never scary skinny, nor too thick, Jessica’s weight is fluctuating a lot and on a rapid rate.

Besides the fact that Jessica put on some pounds, she also put on the WRONG dresses. What’s wrong with them? Well, the numerous frills in the boob area are definitely adding unneeded roundness to the already round and big boobs. Secondly, because of the same big and round boobs, there are slim chances to look slim in high-waisted puffy dresses, simply because it looks like the boobs are meeting the belly. Of course, the voluminous hair doesn’t help either. How should Jessica dress?

Versus’s expert advice: Jessica’s got a “reversed triangle” body type (pear shape being a regular triangle body shape), since she doesn’t have particularly wide hips, but instead, she’s got a full bust – even more, she seems to deposit her weight mostly in her upper body, on the shoulders, arms, definitely on the breasts, upper abdomen and even in her neck and face.

Considering all the above, Jessica’s aim should be to add length between her bust and hips (which is the exact opposite of what she did above). How to dress for a reversed triangle body shape? Here are some tips that would make Jess and all you busty girls out there look as good as it gets:

 - V neck lines or deep cleavages;

 - Thick belts displayed on the hips that add a little volume in that area and balance the figure;

 - Lower waistlines (as opposed to the high waistlines Jessica chose above);

 - Longer shirts that create the illusion of a longer torso;

 - Blacks and dark nuances on top and bright and vivid colors on the bottom;

 - NO puffy, voluminous tops.
