Jessica Simpson Talks Diet
March 15, 2010 in Celebrity Quotes, Jessica Simpson by Versus
Jessica Simpson is everywhere these days promoting her new TV show that regards Beauty and its many interpretations – so it makes sense that she’s sharing a lot about her curves, weight and diet… here’s today’s quote from Jessica (source: Us Magazine):
“I got curves!” The Price of Beauty star, 29, tells E! News. “I can’t get rid of them. There ain’t no getting rid of them. At this point, I just celebrate them. I’m a healthy girl. I work out. I box. I try to eat right. I still like my corn dogs, my burgers and my onion rings. I can’t help it. Just as long as I feel good about myself and if I feel healthy, I feel beautiful.”
“Growing up in Texas for me, fish was a fish stick. We weren’t really the healthiest of people. [My mom] didn’t force me to eat healthy. She did have an opinion on what I was wearing. But my mom has always made me feel confident.”

Eh, I wouldn’t say she’s curvy. She’s pretty straight up and down, just not skinny.
exactly; this is why curvy is used for everything now, not actually describing curves anymore; than again, alessandra ambrosio is also curvy so let’s just find another word, because this one is completely void of meaning.
lol, agreed.
off-topic, but april i love your avatar; cutsie pie kitty!! adorable really.
hey i dont agree or disagree with you girls just wanted to point out she does have DDs and that shoud count as curves
I might call her curvy, she has boobs, and at least a bit of a waist i think, and a nice bum if i recall correctly.. Add that to the fact that she has got some meat on her bones (which accentuates the assets that she does have), she does look somewhat curvy in my eyes. I don’t think curvy is just about having a big waist-to-hip -ratio or an hourglass figure, though that too defines as curvy in my eyes.
yeah it is a misleading word. i think the biggest misconception is the idea that its just a euphemism for fat, as opposed to describing body shape. the title of this website is suggesting that it is something opposite to thinness.
in terms of what she says, i have big boobs like her and know what she means, they aren’t going anywhere and it does make you look heavier. i am a 28 DD/E, and a size 6 to 8 british, and people still say things like i am a bit chubby or not skinny, yet friends who are bigger overall are described as skinny.
do boobs mean you are curvy? well they make your silhouette curvy.
I’ve always said that thin girls can be curvy, too – although the women that standardly represent the term “curvy” have, besides the curvy bust/waist/hip ratio, a bit more meat
I’ve never used “curvy” as a synonym for “overweight” (though some overweight women can be curvy too) and the title of the site… well, it’s meant to instigate people to debate, to compare, it doesn’t necessarily symbolize an opposition.
Exactly, curvy is a shape not a size!
seriously! same here
She looks like she eats a lot of corned dogs!!
There is nothing wrong with Jessica.
It’s her stylist that needs to be shot.
ha!
agreed, if she dressed her body type it would really help her, like it would help all women to know what looks good on an hourglass figure does not look the same on a pear shape
In this pic she reminds me of Blair from Facts of Life.
I don’t believe that she puts in that much effort in terms of eating healthy and regular exercize. I bet she works out every now and then and eats healthy every now and then.
But at the same time, whatever. That is her choice. At this point in her life, she’s probably happier not putting in so much effort. As long as she isn’t asking everyone to close their eyes and pretend that she’s still thin, I don’t really care what size she is.
And as someone already mentioned, she does not have much curves. She has boobs, but a very small butt for her size, and very little waist definition.
Totally agree. She says she “tries to eat healthy”. Well her appearance doesn’t lie and it looks like she’s failing at it most of the time, and succumbing to those onion rings most of the time.
She’s gorgeous regardless and its a shame how she was made to feel guilty about the size of her own body. Also a shame that she is still having to defend it
As long as she is generally healthy and doesn’t sit around eating greasy foods 24/7 she is prob fine. I never thought she was fat. She’s more like relaxed and doesn’t really care what she looks like. Def not fat but more like let herself go a bit it seems in some pics I’ve seen? I think she looks must better in this one – she must’ve taken up the boxing.
I don’t think she is curvy. She looks like a ruler to me, just with big boobs. Curvy implies shape not size, for ex. I’m tall and skinny but I am curvy.(big waist to hip ratio). Her face looks fat, so she should lose some weight she used to be so pretty
I love how she says there’s no way to get rid of her curves then goes on to talk about eating corn dogs and onion rings. She’s so dumb sometimes.
she’s so pretty! I’ll always be a big fan of hers and I respect that she isn’t trying to change for anyone
Go Jess!!
how do your arteries feel about those corn dogs and onion rings?
Intelligent, well educated vegetarians agree that most
people could often cave in to almost any food choice indulgence, so long as the most healthy diet is a steady habit too. Balance isn’t a 180 degree thing. It’s a 360 degree thing. Mostly, nutrient dense foods are raw fruits, vegetables, legumes, nuts, seeds, and spices. They contain most of the nucleic acids, enzymes, and flavinoids needed to heal
properly. So long as a person doesn’t have food alergies, it’s
easy to plan your own diet that will work for you. You could even make your own corn dogs, burgers, and onion rings armed with a some knowledge and a little immagination.
Eg: buy a combo of 3 or 4 different types of onions. Make a
batter of ripe wheat, barley, and rye grains that you malt first.
Then deep fry them in olive oil. I suscribe to the RealAge.com
