she is pretty…but im sorry…i feel like she looks like a child here. facially, bodily and the clothes she is wearing…the whole ‘teenage tart thing’…i find it worrying…

I don’t see what is ‘teenager-tart-like’ about the the clothes. They are plain white clothes that anyone can be seen wearing. It would look more teenager-tart to me if she were wearing trainers, tight jeans with a thong poking out at the top and a tramp stamp on her lower back. Plus a tight top and myspace-wh**e poses with the photos looking like they were taken by her on a mobile/cell phone. Then I would feel as if they are trying to sell her as a teenage tart.
I do think she looks young facially and body-wise, but she cannot change that. I do think that all the white is giving off a pure and innocent impression though. I just don’t think white screams ‘teenage tart’, but it does convey something ‘child-like’.
See through tops and wet lenjerie is very pure and innocent, indeed. *bashing head against wall*
I was talking about the colour. And I don’t see any lingerie, only vests and shorts in most pictures.

Thos are panties, not shorts. Ok, have it your way, but for me this is far from innocent and pure. And you can say that as much as you want, it still won’t change what this images are sending out to most people.
Uma – I never said that EVERYTHING here was innocent and pure. You’ve misinterpreted what I posted and ignored what I responded to you with. I just explained to you that I was talking about the COLOUR white. I was referring to the SYMBOLISM of that colour. i.e. WHITE (the colour) symbolises innocence and purity. I was NOT talking about anything else in the shoot. Do you understand it now? If you still think I’m saying transparent lingerie is innocent, then you don’t understand and continuing this is pointless.
Okay, it looks like we’re both wrong: on closer look the white ones look like men’s underwear. They were baggy and low on the leg for women’s boyshorts so I thought they were shorts.

I love Jessica Stroup, but this shoot looks extremely amateur, like a young teenage girl trying to look sexy in front of her boyfriend, and is miserable failing at it. These are horrible shots, especially of such a usually gorgeous girl. I agree with the whole VF-could-be-more-imaginative comment.

No….this is horrible. She looks like a child, I’m actually uncomfortable looking at this.
Oh God, the bending backwards kind of creates a little but in almost every person, but not in her LOL…she looks pretty, but yep, too much like a child.
She looks amazing. She is an average size now, I kinda miss her being super skinny, but she looks good either way.

phew! when i wrote my comment about finding her too child like i thought i was going to be attacked! lol so its not just me being strange then. sure she is a gorgeous girl…and some ppl are meant to be this tiny (tho she isnt) and that is fine! but…its like they have just played up on that…like, tried to make her look younger…and i find that really scary if thats wat appeals to men these days…teenage girls who look just like teenage girls =S

completely agree…its like the teen porn that old greesy men would like where they make them look as young and ‘naughty’ as poss. like i said, i think its scary if this is a mans ideal of sexy now…(not talking bout the bod so much, but the whole photoshoot)

She is so amazing. Fantastic eyes and smile. She looks like a child in some of these photos, especially the ones where her hair and clothes are wet and thats very offputting but other than that she so beautiful, one of the most beautiful actresses on tv in my opinion.
