Kate admitted to gaining weight recently, saying that she finally NEEDS to wear a bra (umm, where is it?) because her bust got bigger. Her stomach isn’t as flat as it once was, but I think that little tummy makes her seem more… real and less perfectly supermodelish, which can be a good thing.

Short? What is she, 5′6″? I’ve never understood why models need to be tall anyway, many of the world’s most beautiful women have the “misfortune” of being short.
Oh please, she isn’t a teen or in her early twenties anymore, she isn’t even a model anymore except for Topshop. She’s allowed to gain weight if she wants.

IMO Kate is already in a position where she can do anything she wants regardless of the impact on her career… bottom line she still gets paid. Just like Gisele who’s also on that certain position to leave VS two years ago and still remains the highest paid model. Whether we like it or not, these two are icons in the fashion industry who has the ability to sell.
Shes a woman in her thirties now with a child and she’s still looking good.
She is allowed to gain a little – she has already been such a success in the modelling world, she can afford to give it all up now and lead a normal life!
i agree. she’s been modelling since she was 15 so thats 20 years of watching her weight…reckon she more than deserves to put on a few pounds!

she’s not the typical pretty face. part of her appeal has always been the drugged-up skinny-girl look. now that she is at a normal weight she looks very average.
I think that “drugged-up skinny-girl look” or “heroin chic” description of her modeling really only applied to the earlier part of her career. It’s been at least a decade since she carried that look.
To me, I think she looks beautiful and her softer look doesn’t change that.
She is just one of those models were people don’t agree. Its the same with Gisele Bundchen. Some people think they are ugly and not very attractive and some think they are so so gorgeous and are exactly what a supermodel should look like. Its all about preferences and we can’t all agree.
Personally I’ve never seen her as a modeltype but what I do see, is that she looks much happier.
Her face is pretty in a way. She has more of a belly than I expected but it doesn’t look terrible. Though you would think someone who was so skinny for so many years wouldn’t feel comfortable like that.

the natural way, which i mean is just eating chips, burgers and high carbo and protein crap all day and sitting on couch. the other way is going to the gym, mixing in some exercise into ur life. so ur body is not sooo crappy looking, and is toned and u still have weight and fat on you. but its not hanging off of you and creating rolls. u also have muscle. which this woman does not. u may find her beaitiful and her body just perfect, but i personally think she can work on it. btu then again, i doubt shes going for the perfect look. i mean she does have a mirror. shes just livign her lifee and she made that clearr.
I never understood what so many people see in this chick.. I find her to be extremely unattractive.. even photoshopped /airbrushed on the cover of like every magazine imagineable.. JUST DONT SEE IT.
Awesome…her body looks just like mine (admittedly, hers is a little better, minus my cellulite/flabby skin. aaand my thighs). I’m LOVING it. Please don’t lose it all again Kate. I hope she’s happy in her new body!
her mid-section is way out of proportion with the rest of her, my gosh, it looks gross.
It is a shame that being still young she looks that flabby, it is obvious that she never worked out and she only know how to drink booze and smell cocaine.

She probably just ate/drank alot and is quite bloated. The rest of her is quite slim, so she is probably not eating right. And having to be skinny for so long, it must be nice to be average weight and not care too much for your weight. I don’t know why she is like this, but I had a friend who was very skinny and became average weight and was happier.
