In the 2nd pic you can see the corset. It looks like a waspie style corset thats belt into the dress.
The dress also looks like its made out of some sort of latex, even though its a pretty pattern. I’m guessing itss not though and its just silk.

Stop with the real women have curves. Yeah, I do think this is how the models should look, even though i think everyone should be more accepting of body types. guess what? Women shouldn’t have to be put into this stereotype that we all should look like that. My guy friend actually thought my bottom heavy not perfect curvy hourglass legs was due to the fact I don’t excercise. That’s not the case. It’s bone and my bones make my thighs really curvy. I’ve got wide hips, small shoulders and bust. It’s called pear shape. So if I don’t look like this or a slim model, I guess I can’t be anything. You’ve got to ACCEPT all body types.
amen, I’m a mix between hourglass and ruler- my waist is a few inches smaller than my hips and chest, but still I wouldn’t be called “curvy” because I’ve got a small, narrow figure. It makes me feel kinda bad when people say this is how a woman “should” look, like I’m somehow less of a woman because my boobs are a c instead of a d, and my hips don’t go out to there.
I just think that nonsense should stop, women come in all shapes and sizes. I know girls naturally shaped like Kelly, and I know girls who are NATURALLY stick thin all over like a model. It’s not fair to alienate girls who aren’t blessed with curves in alll the right places, and it makes no sense seeing as MOST women do not have a figure like Kelly’s.

I don’t think anyone is saying that if you’re not an hourglass, you’re less of a woman. If someone states a preference for a certain body type, I don’t consider that bashing of others. Some people on here seem to be very sensitive to the preferences of others and they take it as a personal insult. I don’t think it’s anyone’s intention, at least not in this thread.
AMEN TO THAT MICHELLE!! we need to accept all body types and stop bashing the ones who don’t have big breasts like kelly brook. being skinny doesn’t make you any less of a woman because YOU ARE A WOMAN.

It’s all about perception. I feel differently. It seems like a lot of people on here can’t stand to see a woman with curves. I’m a size 6 but can fit into a 4 and I feel like people would still consider me fat if they saw my picture. My friends and family think I look amazing. So…it’s all relative. As long as I feel good about myself, who says what on here doesn’t matter. You can’t live your life trying to please everyone.
No, it’s not. Yea, there are the odd posters that will have to shove it out there, but the “inference” on this site, from what I have seen from the site author and from some posters, is that ANY female shape is a REAL woman’s shape, not just one shape but all of them.
Besides, I’ve run into more “curvy is FAT!!!! go on a diet” people here than I have run into the “REAL women have CURVES!!!” people on here, so if anything, the “inference” could probably be that women that are bigger than a high fashion model is fat. But I am a bit more perceptive then that, and go by what the site owner’s/author’s motives are, and that’s that all women can be/are beautiful no matter what body type category they fall under. Versus does an excellent job of presenting the women on here in a positive light no matter what their size/shape is. It’s us posters that screw it all up sometimes, but that doesn’t mean WE determine what this site is all about, that’s what Versus does.

To Instant, I disagree. Yes, I agree there are a lot of comments on here criticising women like Hilary Duff and bigger, calling them fat, which is nonsense. However, there are a lot of comments that suggest ‘real women have curves’. I’ve seen it stated a lot of times on this site. It may not be Versus’s agenda to portray that but if we the posters advocate this then that’s the mesage that rings out.
I’ve read a few of your posts on here and i’ve seen you on ocassion snap at someone and call them a ‘beep’ or something for saying something either in favour of a thin girl or disfavour of a curvier built girl. Stuff like that brings the message home as well.
I’ve snapped at the idiots dissing thin girls as well, though not as much because I don’t frequent the slimmer posts
BUT, as far as I can remember, I did NOT snap at people for favoring thin over curvy, it was HOW they stated it that I snapped at them for, not because they like thin and I don’t, but because of their delivery. I could give a rat’s patootie about a person’s preference, if they like thin, slim, curvy, fat, obese, what ever. It’s when they start acting like asshats towards what they don’t favor that gets my goat. I know I don’t defend the smaller gals as much, and I do apologize for seeming to disfavor them, that’s not my intent, but the gist of my posts have hardly ever been about dissing thin and more about dissing the person presenting an asinine view in favor of thin at the expense of non-thin(and vice versa on rare occasions).

Wow, she looks pretty incredible, corset or not! This is my PERSONAL idea of what defines ‘feminine’ (partly because I’m fairly hourglassy too!) but it doesn’t make anyone less womanly if they don’t have this shape. Just so I don’t tread on anyone’s toes. You have to step so carefully here so someone doesn’t take what you say as a personal attack – gawwwwd!
