Kristen Bell Brings the Quotes of the Day

“I have no desire to put on this face of perfection. I’m constantly striving to better myself, but that’s also maybe out of intense insecurities. Feeling like I went right from high school to Hollywood, it’s essentially the same dynamic. But I can admit, I don’t always have the best style. I trip a lot, I go to therapy because I make mistakes, I just try to be as real and as well-rounded as possible because there’s nothing really that interesting about perfection. It’s been done so many times before.”

“I love 30 more than I’ve ever loved anything. I feel like I was born on my 30th birthday. It’s finally the time where I’ve fully accepted and loved myself, which I’m realizing more and more each day – it is so important to love yourself. Because if you don’t love yourself than nothing really matters.

    I quite like her attitude!

Just a small thing, i do not think perfections has been done so many times before, it’s rather that i often find the people who TRY to be perfect a bit pretentious and uptight. Otherwise, she seems like a nice woman with a good enough attitude towards life.

      *perfection minus the -s

and gotta say, i love her outfit, only not crazy about the neckline.

seems like a healthy attitude – life is too short to worry about being “perfect”! Its unattainable anyway and even if you didnt manage to reach perfection, its not gonna bring you real happiness or love.

I hope being 30 feels as good as she says it does, I still have many years to go yet but I do find the older I get the more I accept myself 🙂

    • I completely agree with you….life is too short. And being 30 does feel as good as she says it does. I’m 34, and the older i get the better i feel, and am more accepting of my imperfections. That’s really what makes a person beautiful and unique.

        wise words, you both 😀

Actually I have few years to go before I hit my 30’s. But even in my late twenties I feel better, more confident, happier than years before. So recently I started thinking when I turn 30 it will be even better and more enjoyable life. Thank you for prooving this!

agreed! every year i get older i also become more comfortable in my own skin. aging does scare me near as much it used to.

Great to hear Pixie 🙂 thats exactly how I find myself feeling more and more with every year that passes. My older sister turns 30 soon and she is so much more confident and happy in her skin now than she was several years ago, I look up to her confidence and honestly have never been afraid of aging – I think at 30 I will just be a better version of I am now haha 😀

P.S – you look 10 years younger than you are – I think happiness is a big part of what keeps us looking young 🙂

    Great post. I love her.

she has a good mindset….perfection is subjective though…so many people may consider someone perfect but others may think differently….so far ive never met anyone perfect…i think you can only strive for the best you can be which doesnt always spell perfection
ive always thought she was one of the more grounded celebrities out there

    It’s like she’s reading from a script…
