Any fear of aging, I think, is simply vanity,” she says. “Because what comes with age is so many wonderful things: wisdom, understanding…. Every year, I’m always happy to be done with the previous age,” she says. “Sixty, that doesn’t seem old to me. I think it comes from my mom going, That’s not old! She’s in her 50s, but she looks like she’s in her early 40s.” Asking Leighton, whose skin looks as if it was born retouched, about Botox is faintly comedic. “If you get a wrinkle, I don’t feel that’s indicative of your losing ground,” she says. “That’s ridiculous. But I do support Botox. If people want that, do it.”

she looks really sweet, cute, and youthful in her 20s. in her 30s she just looks stunning and gorgeous. i think many women kind of shine with their beauty in their late 20s/early 30s. as for her 40s and 50s……no comment……
well these digitally altered pics always make people look weird, it’s just supposed to show what kind of alterations there’s gonna be when you get older. she’s predicted not to have gained a lot of weight, to have a bit of sundamaging and some wrinkles etc, it depends on her lifestyle / eating habits as well as genetics. it’s kind of funny though how she said “any fear of aging, I think, is simply vanity” and implies that wrinkles and so on are all ok for her, and then says her mother in in her 50’s but looks to be in her 40’s as if it’s the greatest thing; i get it though, you shouldn’t obsess about getting older but it’s nice to be able to stay “fresh” looking.
i totally agree with “fear of aging is simple vanity” with the gushing of her mother looking young.. i also think its funny how the people who have perfect skin, hair, or body are the ones that seem to brush off the significance of beauty.. like they were ever subjected to being “ugly” to begin with.
Totally agree. How could she possibly fear being anything but attractive when she’s never had any experience otherwise?

That’s what I thought too. At 40 looks basically the same to me too.
I’d like to think she’ll have more sense than to pull all her hair into a tight librarian bun. She’s going to look MUCH better than this.
on a lady who would appear 60…a tight bun like that is very sophisticated. hell, its very sophisticated on a 20 y/o. open a fashion mag!!
yeah buns can look good but still, I hope she’s got better skin than that at 50!
She doesn’t look too horrible as a 50 year old. I’ve seen 35 year olds that look way worst…some of the people around here are just SCARY at a young age.
She isn’t aging well in her 20’s especially around the eye area so I would imagine her looking a lot worse than this at 50.
I just don’t get the hype about her, she just doesn’t look attractive to me.

Her statement about aging makes no sense though. At first she says it’s vain to be worried, but then she says that her mom looks young for her age, and then she says botox is okay. Why can’t actresses take a stand on anything besides global warming? Why do they have to backtrack 3 times on anything they say?
Anyhow, that “aging” photoshopped picture means pretty much nothing, but I love her tiny and curvy body. It’s just perfect!
