Leighton Meester (with a little help from Robin Thicke) released a brand new video for the single “Somebody To Love”.
And since Leighton’s got lots of fans (or, better said, her figure’s got lots of fans) on this site, let’s take a look at singer Leighton, her jewelry arsenal, big hair, glossy red lips, big make-up, big clothes (or little clothes) and sexy attitude. Question: Does Leighton scream “sex-appeal” naturally or is she trying a little too hard?

Her makeup in the video is terrible. Red lips and dark eye makeup will always make you look like a clown, or prostitute. It’s one or the other ladies!

i agree with you. she’s gorgeous and looks so pretty in this music video. i love robin thicke and the two of them looks hot together. albeit, he IS married. the make up is a lil too much but everything else looks great. the clothes are high fashion-ish. but then again, leighton is known for her interesting fashion sense.

she’s singing about being in Europe a lot in this song. Like other websites mentioned she is going for Euro look. I can see that. Her style here makes me think Italian.
(In many countries in Europe women wear much, much more makeup and random clothes. I am Russian German)
When you say that her style looks italian you clearly don’t know what you’re talking about… I’m italian and girls in Italy don’t use that much make up… surely not as much as russians do, and they dress much better than most of other women in the world.
Also, maybe women wear random clothes in some european countries, but they do in the US too.
I’m European (Spain) and as Marge said we don’t use that much make up or wear random clothes, that is just silly, we do have more open mind about sex and nudity and maybe you mean that about her Euro look but fashion is international so I don’t get it.
She looks a little amateur with some of her “sexy moves” in the music video. I don’t think she is used to acting that sexualized. Or, it might be director of the video’s fault. However, she is attractive enough where it doesn’t matter…she still comes off as sexy.

I think the repeated close ups on her red lipstick were really cheesy. And the scenes when she was in the limo, she has these long witch-like fake nails that weird me out a bit. I don’t see this song catching on to anyone but die hard Leighton Meester fans!

Leighton Meester has that “X” thing that makes her sexy and beautiful without being perfect. About this video I’m not sure, too much make up yes but I’m sure that’s is what they wanted her to look, is too sexualized and I think that is not good, (she can do good music, just hear “Body Control” very cool song) because she doesn’t need it, it’s ok to be sexy but she should be careful about the slutty terroitory, as I said she doesn’t need it.
the scene in the limo, leighton has a bit toooo much make up on. i love the simplicity in her last look. she should keep it that way through out the video. i’m a bit disappointed with the Je t’adore part. could of sworn it would be an epic part of the vid. haha oh well. i love that part of the song! also, her clothes…come on dude. her clothes look better in gossip girl. with all the cash she has she could of done better a better job.
