i’m gonna go with Lindsay. Hilary might have a better body since Lilo is so scrawny, but i think Hilary’s shirt looks worn out and unflattering, plus her hair looks greasy and for that i just like Lindsays overall look better. Hence, the leggins look better too, i think the ensemble just works (mind you her leggins seem a bit too see trough for me, as in pantyhose!)

I kinda agree with you.. Im not going to say Awesome, but i’ll say she looks good. Her style is def better than Hilary’s.. Clearly Lindsay has small bones- regardless of what people may say that she used to be a lot heavier, etc.. No matter how much u lose weight, if you have big bones, you will never look like that. People come in different shapes and forms, and the fact that she still has big boobs (not visible on picture, but on other recent ones) makes me think that she’s definitely not necessarily sick, just losing normal weight, like a normal person under stress would, especially when they have a bunch of people like u guys calling her anorexic.

Every single model is skinny, why are you trippin just because another human being decided to get skinny also? Just because someone decides to get super lean, all of a sudden they are anorexic? There are real girls who are actually diagnosed with anorexia nervosa, it’s nothing to throw around loosely. Lindsay is not anorexic, she is just super lean. Stop overreacting!
And by the way MODELS are HOT for a reason. There is a purpose why they are beautiful. Don’t jump all on Lindsay’s shit because she is just trying to live up to what everyone in the industry thinks is beautiful. The world she is surrounded with has higher standards of beauty, give her a break. I highly doubt she is anorexic, I can bet that 99% of the reason she is lean is because she eats only raw food. And eating only raw food is not only extremely healthy but it can also aide in dropping the body-fat percentage low.
OK, stick thin standard does not equal higher standard of beauty. Eating only raw foods is not extremely healthy, and having a low body fat percentage isn’t healthy either(not for women anyway). I wouldn’t call Lindsay “super lean”, because she’s not. If she were, she’d have really good muscle definition(think Kelli Rippa), but she doesn’t, she’s just skinny(and it aged her drastically too, she’s in her early 20’s, but yet she looks older than me, and I’m 32). I’m not saying she’s anorexic, I don’t know her personally and that’s a big thing to accuse someone of. BUT, I’m not going to pretend she’s healthy because I’m afraid I’ll offend the people that like this uber-skinny and unhealthy look.
And not all the models are skinny, at least not the non-high fashion models.

I think she has something going on because she hasn’t always been this skinny, she looks like she’s lost a lot of weight in a short amount of time. You can see her ribs when you couldn’t before, her legs have no shape to them anymore, her thighs are so small now, her breasts are very saggy, and she looks a lot older than early 20’s(she looks like she’s mid to late 30’s) and she’s never looked older than her age when she had more weight on her. Her skin and hair looks dry. She’s flabby looking now too. She looks like she’s perpetually stopping, but I don’t know if that’s from the weight loss or if she’s just got bad posture.

Just because she’s not as skinny as the first time she got skinny does NOT mean she is healthy now at this stage of skinniness. Hell, the fact she yo-yo’s so much is another indicator that she’s not healthy. It’s not “talking trash” to observe that a woman is skinny and unhealthy looking. I took care to make sure I was stating it without “talking trash”.
I’m all for promoting healthy bodies too, no matter what their sizes and/or shapes are, but I am NOT going to include Lindsay in that. Hers is NOT a healthy body, she goes drastically up and down in weight(with the “down” being the more extreme), and that is not healthy.

She is NOT fine, she’s yo-yo’ed so much, that alone is unhealthy. Her hair is dry, her eyes are sunken(decent make-up job, but it doesn’t hide it). In the most recent post about Lindsay, you can see her lower belly and it is bloated looking and it resembles Amy Winehouse’s when she was in that uber-skinny stage a few months ago. How is that fine and healthy? Please, explain to me what it is that you see on Lindsay that makes you think she is healthy, because I just don’t see it. I see a sad/angry/tired look in her face and eyes, dry skin, dry hair, bones sticking out in her upper body, saggy breasts on a girl that didn’t have saggy breasts when she had more weight, aged by more than 10 yrs., perpetual stoop, no ass when she used to have one, thin thighs, and no muscle tone at all.

That’s because when she was “bigger”, she wasn’t fat, and it is stupid to claim such. Right now, it is NOT stupid to claim that she is unhealthy because SHE IS. I agree, we shouldn’t be calling her names and such, but saying she looks unhealthy isn’t insulting her is it? How can you sit there and say she’s fine but she needs to gain weight? Look at her hair, it looks like straw, and it did not look that way when she was fuller(and I don’t think it is over processing that is doing it to her hair, she went through just as many hair changes at her fuller weight as she is now). In other pics of her, she has this tired/angry look on her face and in her eyes. Others have noticed it and pointed it out. Yes, I hate to say it, but I think you are crazy(or at least in denial) when you insist that there is nothing wrong with this girl concerning her drastic fluctuations in weight and what it is doing to her health/body. It’s one thing to try and be nice about making your opinion known, and quite another to just be completely in denial of the obvious: This girl has lost too much weight, has done it quite a few times, and it is not healthy for her to be this low of a weight and to constantly be going up and down in weight like that. I don’t know why or how she is doing it, I’m not making any opinion about that, but I do know that by looking at her I can say she has lost too much weight and it does not look good or look healthy.

“Lean mass” is actually the percentage of your body mass that is pure muscle. Lindsay is not lean by any means. I saw her bikini pics and she looks to have quite a percentage of body fat, because she lost a lot of muscle (also fat, but mainly muscle), despite the fact that she is small and narrow, thanks to her small frame and narrow hips. That is what your body looks like when you don’t feed the muscle.
Another thing you should look at is hair and skin. When you don’t ingest the proper amount of healthy fat to lubricate them, they look very dry. Her hair looks very dry, and I noticed how the make up (especially blush) on her face look like they remain on the surface, without blending in at all, which is because of the extreme dryness of her skin.
I know these things because I suffered from anorexia, and my body then was skinny but it felt like jello, no matter how much I exercised! And now, I know the difference, because I’m getting the proper nutrition along with working out, and that’s what gives definition to the body (like Miranda Kerr and other VS models have). Just compare supermodels with regular, no name (and that is why they are no name in the first place) runway models that look like they are going to die up there, or break a hip.
Attractive means a lot of different things for different people, and we shouldn’t discuss tastes when it comes to skinny vs. curvy. The fashion industry made the emaciated woman look “attractive”. But the emaciated woman, as known, loses all of her physiological womanly features (reproductive etc.) This is because the industry is run by gay men, that like to see them girls looking like boys, without curves. It’s also important for the model not to be remarkable or sexy, because the audience should be looking to the clothes she’s wearing for the show, not at her. They are basically paid to act like human moving hangers.
I hate talking about this girl, it makes me sad. I’d love to see her glowing with health and happiness. She’s lacking both for a long time now…

You are kidding right? Lyndsey is not super lean, yes she is skinny but she’s probably got a high percentage of body fat. You know why? Muscle wasting and that only comes with serious calorie restriction. If you want to see super lean bodies then have a look at some olympic athletes, fitness models or bodybuilders.
Thanks for pointing that out Leanna. I wish people would research diet and exercise because there are so many things that would surprise them. Not all weight loss is due to loss of fat, it can be due to wasting muscles as well without a proper diet.
I can see bigvinamac’s point, whenever we see someone skinny the automatic assumption is that they have an eating disorder and that’s accepted. I can see why people would assume that but it could be that she’s not taking the time to eat because of her busy schedule (though this is still unhealthy). This happened to me at uni, i just forgot to eat (very much unlike me!) and lost a bit of weight. Now i’m more organised i’m happily munching away!

We’ve all seen Lindsay a fair bit heavier so i think it’s safe to say that this isn’t her “natural” weight..i.e. she isn’t naturally this skinny. Wether she is this way as the result of an eating disorder, strict dieting or stress is something i can only speculate. In saying that, although she looks unhealthy and too skinny, just looking at their leg’s-i’d have to say Lindsay looks better in tights.
While too many people seem to equate skinny with being anorexic, many people believe anorexic females are attractive and aspire to look like them. It’s so odd. If you’re naturally thin, great, if you’re not, stop hurting your body. It’s really quite simple.
This is actually depressing. Lindsay’s eating disorder that is. I think more people need to realise that she is constantly going through a tough time. Paparazzi and then media certainly doesn’t help. If anything they cause her eating disorder to worsen due to all the media attention.

lindsay IS skinny, but not too skinny for me (in comparison to those runway models out there). i mean, miranda kerr is way skinnier and less than lindsay yet many seem to idolise and admire her. so i must agree with those who say that lindsay looks great. but then again, this is Not her natural body shape, so shed look better at her original weight.

its rather ostensible that lindsay has an eating disorder though, i myself am suffering from anorexia and ive dropped from 108lbs to 84lbs, but i am recovering and am now 91lbs at 5 ft 4.

Hilary’s legs look WAY better here. No contest, they look great. I don’t think the sweater flatters her though because she does have broad shoulders.
It’s true that you can’t look at someone and say they’re sick just because they’re really skinny but Lindsay used to be considerably fuller. She’s not the naturally thin type, which makes it a lot more likely that she has an eating disorder. It’s okay to prefer the really skinny look but few people are at their healthiest that way. A whole lot of them are starving themselves to look that way. Even if I preferred this body type I’m not sure I would admire Lindsay’s condition.

Hillary is carrying frothy mocha caramel cinnamon extra light latte and looks like a cow with chubby thighs, and Lindsay is carrying plain old water and although I have seen her look better, looks happy, better proportioned with real thigh muscles, and I like her boots.

just b/c someone thinks Lilo looks better they have screwed standards of beauty, just dif. from someone elses. i’m sick of ppl calling every skinny girl anorexic. maybe lilo does love a figure that is health-wise a bit too skinny, but it doesn’t mean she has an ED, ’cause that would in many cases mean settling for nothing and loathing any fat or meat even… well there are many degrees to this sickness but anyways. and being skinny does not mean u’d be unhealthier than a bigger girl. normal weighted ppl can lead very unhealthy lifestyles. and life’s a drag sometimes, so why not let ppl be a tad unhealthy every now and then? i’m all for eating a few extra cupcakes too, if it makes the person happy. obsessing is another thing, and lilo might have a disorder, but just really don’t be so quick to judge, maybe u’re the one’s who’re screwed up, only tolerating this very standard body weight, no one is to be too heavy or too skinny. what a lot of work that takes is all i can say. with that, both girls look cute IMO

I weigh 105 lbs thank you very much. Runnergirl, many of the ppl who always put down skinny and thin, have said they are overweight.. or they prefer ppl who have shapes like theirs… read the columns. I do not say that heavier women are not healthy…I couldn’t know… I only that I do not like their looks for modeling, nor for stage, nor for setting good role models for their fans. My goodness, even the President wants to tax high sugar foods as there is an epidemic of obesity in the USA…
Off topic, I would likie to see statistics on anorexia ( usually from extreme behavior) vs. diabetes ( usually from many overindulgence’s to those prone to the disease) …. of course neither is good but from much of the talk here, you would think only the former is a problem.

what i meant is that people always want to put some kind of beauty standard to tell women how they need to look. that’s what i meant about ignorant people. i never said that stick thin is beautiful but i’m not going to say that women should have big boobs and asses to be beautiful because women should be proud of who they are. i look at all women of sizes regardless of what they are and think they’re beautiful. to me nobody knows what it is to be beautiful because we constantly pick on women for the way they look.

And that there are so many signals that she might have lost it in an unhealthy way. And ppl don’t call her unhealthy out of ignoracy, but maybe that’s how they see her b/c there are all these trademarks – like no muscle definition, or bloated stomach, or that she’s always drinking coke or energy drinks. In my opinion, LiLo has lost control. I dunno what happened,if she’s on drugs,if she taking pills or if she has an ED,but she doesnt look healthy…This is certainly not her body type because she used to be chubbier when she was younger and because she lost all the weight fast! The colours, the focus, the clothes, and even though it is candid, she still looks good. Even the ‘black’ colour is strong and evened out.

is not looking anywhere in our general direction- so she lost your attention.
