Megan Fox: “My Only Job Is to Look Attractive”

I know what you’ll say – that Megan’s words in the title don’t exactly go hand in hand with “People Complain I’m Too Beautiful to Get a Part” .
Megan Fox did an interview with Britain’s GQ magazine and she revealed some info about her figure during Jennifer’s Body (yes, again).
“Really my only job is to look attractive. I was so angry about that, that I went in the opposite direction. I turned into a really butch bull dyke for, like, six months… Then I went in the other direction. From being a giant motorcycle-riding lesbian, I turned into a zombie. I lost, like, 30 pounds.”
“I was like, ‘I’m losing weight for the movie’. I was telling myself I was being method (method acting), which was so outrageous and ridiculous and not true.
“But I ended up getting sick and my hair started falling out and I was like, ‘Oh f**k. I can’t do this’… You lose too much weight, you’re not getting your vitamins, you get sick. I was really skinny. I was depressed.”

I’m so sick of hearing stupid quotes from this girl. Yes, she’s got a beautiful face and figure, but she’s a crap actress and has to mention something overly sexual/about how she looks in every interview she does to make up for it. Her personality sucks, and I hope the hype around her subsides because all it’s doing is inflating her already huge ego.

Yeah, exactly. That’s why she gets so many jobs doing photo shoots or cheap tacky videos, like the one where she’s drinking beer and eating meat. Nothing that requires any talent or brains, because obviously she wouldn’t be up for that.

There’s a huge difference between being ‘Hot’ and ‘Beautiful’.
Megan is undoubtedly Hot and Sexy, but beautiful? No. How will she look in 10 years?

Obviously talking about being bisexual is going to get you some attention and she knows it.
Also I don’t believe for one second that she lost 30 lbs because that would mean she’d have to have been 130 lbs and get down to 100 lbs. I’ve never seen her look like she’s 130 lbs OR 100 lbs she looks to me to be about 115 – 120. She should just shut up about her weight already because it honestly doesn’t look like it’s changed that much.

You sholud see her pictures after movie (I forgot the name, Drama Queen Confession or something like this). She was prety chubby, I would say 130 lbs or 135 lbs with heigh 5´6. But she was very young. Then she lost weight.

I think she is less than that – i don’t thin she’s 5′6 either, people actually say she is a bit smaller. If she is, she is surely around 105-110. Fact is, even though she is not stick skinny – good for her!! – she is still small. Petite is a better word. But otherwise you are right, i don’t believe she lost 30 pounds.
She’s one of the types of women that people generally love to hate. She’s drop dead gorgeous and she’s commonly quoted sounding heartless and vain. I’m going to take into consideration the fact that a lot of magazines and sources quote negativity before positivity. She looks stunning to me . . . she’s an extraordinary beauty, even through horrible quotes.

hmm, just like all the other bimbos, and it’s not to say she’s “the real deal”. there’s so much more to acting then lookin’ good, well at least in some films. i mean some poeple actually STUDY it, girl. and though all actors might not be rocket scientist, i know some (unfamous ones, the “working class”, cause i don’t have celeb friends
) that are very soulful and wicked smart. and for that “people COMPLAIN i’m too beautiful to get the part”, i think she’s just being consistent. In that interview, too, she said that did she not look hot, she wouldn’t've been hired in the first place, to any movie, and that it’s sh!t to say her looks are the reason for not hiring. she said they should tell the real reason for not wanting her, ’cause looks R a must in la-la-land. wow, i actually found it in me to defend this baby, aeh, she seems harmless enough, and looks good in that dress, not so trashy (i mean some skin is just to be expected, eh…?)

agreed, and though at least in my personal circle there tends to be the more feminine and more masculin in every realtionship (be it men or women), it’s not so drastic in even nearly every “case”. i think some shows on tv actually glamour it a bit too much, but i guess there’s the 2 ends of the spectrum and neither is as common as some think. well ellen and portia are an easy exemple from the public eye. ellen to me is clearly more masculin, and always wears sneakers / jeans etc. even then she uses make-up, talks w/ her NATURAL voice ( not some whiskey base) and is womanly and very approachable, not like u’d have to know how to behave around lesbians.. ’cause some ppl think it would be awkward, phlease, not a big deal. that said, i have hard time to imagine megan as gay, at most some kind of drunken making out w/ girlfriends

i like that u can recognise that someone can be sexy (due to the way they act, dress, present themselves and their overall look etc) yet still be ugly! i find the same thing. lol i have always thought that about porn stars and baywatch women and women in lads mags etc. they are ’sexy’ due to the way they come across and ‘look after themselvs’ if u can call surgery looking after oneself lol, but most i hav still found to be incredibly ugly though i personally do find megan beautiful.
