In March 2009, Mischa Barton can be seen in 2 highly popular magazines: Vanity Fair and Marie Claire, and let’s not forget the steamy Maxim photoshoot she just did – I just have to wonder… does this sudden popularity have anything to do with the fact that she dropped a lot of weight?

She does look really attractive here, but I can’t stop thinking she’s enslaving herself to the media. Of course her popularity has to do with her massive weight loss. I hope she really did lose it in a healthy way, but I doubt it…if she didn’t, then this here is really sad.

Her hair looks kind of cool and the clothes are quite funky…but the poses are just so put on and stuff. It’s like she’s really milking it now she’s thin again. It’s so ridiculous that the media managed to battle her down like they did and get her to lose the weight. And she’s freaking everywhere- and what’s she doing, nothing! She got the oc curse and hasn’t done anything since then, and she’s appearing everywhere from magazine spreads to fashion magazines. It’s so annoying because there are so many talented actresses and singers who aren’t getting half the recognition. it’s like her comeback wasn’t relying on her talent, yet due to her freaking weight. It’s all a bit shallow, really.

Can you really blame this girl for loosing so much weight? Suddenly she is everywhere! Come on, she’s 23 and has appeared in movies since age 10. By now she knows that the way for her to “survive” depends on how scandalously thin she is. She’s conditioned better than Pavlov’s dog…
Good for her. She looks fabulous. She did what she needed to do to make herself look healthy again and fit. It has obviously payed off..
