Some people prefer skinnier types and some prefer curvier types. Obviously, Bar and Miranda are both sexy girls or they wouldn’t be in Victoria Secret. Bar IS bigger than Miranda, no doubt about it, but still gorgeous.
My favorite VS model is still Tyra since she had the body and personality. Some of these girls just stare into the camera and try to look sexy. Rather banal.

Agreed. Miranda’s cute, has a kick ass body (which I’m sure she works hard to get), and does have some sultry looks, but not really a “super model.” She’s definitely better than a runway model, but she doesn’t have that oomph or personality like super models

omg… if we’re comparing her to bar refaeli, there is just no contest. bar has the most incredibly beautiful body, even without photoshop. miranda is naturally more child-like and slender; i hate how that translates into ‘better’ so automatically. i agree too that miranda doesn’t deserve the term supermodel. i don’t think her face is beautiful, and she seems to lack personality. the shots are all quite… vapid. not sexy.

It doesn’t translate into better so automatically, as indicated by the people on this site. Some think Bar is better and some think Miranda is better. That’s not automatic to me. I think they are both beautiful in different ways (Bar has the sporty, athletic body and Miranda has the slender body).

im sorry. i dont mean to be horrible. but i really think her body looks like a childs…i think its really really scary that this is the ’standard’ for beauty. that we all should want to look like pre-pubescent children to be considered ‘hot’ man thats scary…i havent had a body like that since grade 5 (8-9years old)…and im glad for it! tho it was hard at the time developing faster than the other girls, now i am glad…man this scares me! i feel like i am looking at a 12year old in a swimsuit! yuk. sorry if i offend. just my opinion.
I don’t think Miranda is the standard for beauty, I think she is the standard for thin beauty or top model beauty, which is a different kind of beauty than curvy beauty, or short beauty or tall beauty…etc. Beauty has many standards. Maybe Miranda represents the best of one standard, but certainly not all of them.
