Demi Moore’s W Magazine Cover – Was Her Body Replaced?
Oh dear – remember the recent Demi Moore Photoshop controversy? The one that regarded her much slimmer and much younger, photoshopped version on the cover of W Magazine, yes.
Demi herself denied the Photoshop job via Twitter – but well, Popculturemadness has pointed out the fact that Demi’s fake body looks an awful lot like Anja Rubik’s body, the model that wore that very same dress on the runway. Take another look:

Anja needs help. 18 months ago she was gorgeous- now she’s merely a skeleton. I’m an avid supporter of slim runway models, but she is definitely too skinny.
I just can’t believe Demi is denying the photoshopping! Hollywood people really do live in their fantasy land don’t they.

wow that cover does look awfully a lot like Anja. Even if they didn’t actually replace the body (which i could buy), it’s crazy to claim Demi’s not even been photoshopped, everybody knows she doesn’t have the body of an emaciated looking model, and she doesn’t have that pronounsed hips.

That’s because wide hips come from wide hipbones.
I’m not that skinny, but my hip/waist difference is similar.
I think the way Anja’s hip bones poke out of the dress fabric is beyond creepy…and apparently W thought that was one element they should change also because Demi’s are rounded. I’m not sure if they necessarily did what is suggested here, but the two bodies (with some adjustment) are eerily similar.
im sure she’ll narrow her hips for ya so it can look less “creepy”.
I meant the way just her bones are poking through the draping parts of the fabric, the way it is laying on her body, not her actual body.

Sure she’s tiny but gaining weight doesn’t necessarily mean those hips will go away. I’m quite petite (5′3″, 120lbs) and my hips always stick out, whether my weight is it 125 or 110.

Why is Demi denying her body was photoshopped? We all know she does not look that. Does she want to look like that? I think she looks better than this Anja, and she has decades of age on her. Oh well.
As for this Anja, her body looks scary. I have always been naturally underweight and my body is toned but even I don’t look like that. She probably weighs 10 pounds less than I do and is probably 5″ taller. That is shocking to me.

no matter what, for demi to deny the photoshop is RIDICULOUS. They photograph CHILDREN. There’s no way someone will be on a cover and not photoshopped. She’s an idiot.

ok i think her denying the photoshop is crazy, but i think people trying to say its anja is crazy also. the arm definition, legs, waist, etc… doesn’t even look like anja. also, they don’t need to use a model to replace demi, because…*drum roll*…PHOTOSHOP!!!
Or they photoshopped Anja’s body so the muscle, vein and bone didn’t pop out so contraversially. I think it’s perfectly plausible, really look at the pictures.
this anorexic chic obssesion has gone too far, If I was Demi I would have never allowed this cover, if is not her body why does she let show this skeleton? and why do they photoshop her to make her look sick? I just dont get it, seems like it wasn’t enough with Ralph Lauren, now we have to have head bigger than legs and hips, as if it wasn’t difficult before that, no cellulite, big boobs but skinny legs, ENOUGH!!!!!!!!
But lets not forget, you should also have a narrow waist and narrow shoulders so you don’t look “too manly”…

Plus Demi is amazing shape but she’s always had a healthy looking body. This body looks sickly….there’s no way it’s Demi….
wow. it looks exactly like her body with a few minor differences, maybe to throw people off. demi looks a little bit thicker, but not by much at all. that would be hilarious if it came out that they actually used her body. why would you want to pose for a magazine that would do that? what sort of pride could you take out of that photoshoot knowing that it’s not even your body…?
For Demi to Deny the photo-shopping is just plain STUPID. It looks like she ripped off Anja’s body and is trying to portray as her own to me, and that is sick.
Demi is known for being a liar.. she lied about having plastic surgery, denying that she had any work done whatsoever, and yet it is known everywhere that she spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on plastic surgery! No one should listen to anything that comes out of her dirty mouth; she should be ashamed of herself.

Yeah, I think that’s Anja’s photoshopped body and Demi’s photoshopped head to go with it.
The question is: if it is Anja’s body did she get paid for the cover?
Please correct me if I’m wrong and any of you are naturally like Anja. I’m thin myself but I don’t think this is possible. She looks seriously ill, they shouldn’t let her walk the runway, she should be recovering somewhere. It’s not only her body, her face is looking pretty bad too.
Is this the same model that was on the Victoria’s Secret Show? I think someone named her on that post. WHY WOULD THEY CHOOSE HER FOR VS? There are so many models that look better than this in adds and stuff.
It is the same model. Few years back Anja looked beautiful and healthier. She was always skinny, but I thought it was natural. Now I think she looks ill. I’ve read that she decided to have a “starving day” before VS Show. I know many models do this, but this one should actually do the opposite.

Regardless if its a different persons body or not, Demi’s body shape (on the cover) is nowhere near any actual resemblance to her real shape in reality. She really doesn’t have much shoulder-waist-hip definition, she’s more of a rectangle or cone, not curvy.

Anja does have a nice body. Can’t deny that.. I’m not sure that it is her body on Demi though. The dresses are slightly different. If it is Anja, she is wearing a different or modified dress. The changes in the dress doesn’t look to be a photoshop trick.
does that mean then that the right hip was not reduced at all carelessly through bad photoshopping which was the original bone of contention until it unexpectedly opened a more serious problem??
