Raven-Symone Lost 35 Pounds, Says Star Magazine
I noticed that Raven-Symone has lost some weight, but I didn’t estimate it around 35 pounds. Here’s what Star Magazine says:
Raven-Symone has always been frank about her weight struggles. “When I’m stressed, I gain,” she says. Judging from her appearance at the September 25 Teen Vogue party in LA, things are going great for the Disney star! Dr. Michael Aziz, author of The Perfect 10 Diet, believes the 5′2″ actress shed 35 pounds over the past few months. “Raven was obese,” Dr. Aziz tells Star. “Although she’s naturally a full-figured girl, she’s at a much healthier weight now.”

No way has she lost 35 pounds! She still looks big, but the clothes are a much better choice and that may create an illusion of losing weight.
Whatever. Regardless of her weight she has a great attitude and head on her shoulders.
i actually dont like her attitude. does she have any talent actually? she was a supercute child though and i don’t think she looks good now with the extra pounds (not saying nobody does, but rs would look much better if slimmer).
I have a feeling that a 35lb loss is probably a bit exaggerated, but no matter how much she lost she’s definitely looking slimmer and I think it’s great that she is taking steps to get healthier.
She does look like she’s lost a few, you can see it in her face. Regardless, Raven is a true role model for young girls, she has a good head on her shoulders and has always kept her morals in tact.

She definitely lost a solid 15 lbs and that’s great. She looks wonderful.
…….Nah I’m guessing no more than 10lbs. and a new stylist (who also taught her how to pose in a more flattering way), but she’s still a plump girl (based on Hollywood’s standards). The before picture she looks like a mafia gangster! LOL So there are obvious improvements.
She looks great!! Raven is a beautiful girl and she should never try to be skinny just to take care of her self and she didn’t look like she was doin it before right now looks perfect for her body type i hope she stays this way!!
She looks great! I really like her, just saw her on the Tyra Banks show with Chris Rock. Raven is funny, smart and has a good head on her shoulders. She is normal like the rest of us, and doesn’t try to project a “holier than thou” attitude. Love her!
@Ms Canna – I saw her on Tyra also! When I saw her I was like WHOA she lost a lot of weight! It was definitely noticeable!! Good for Raven I have always thought she was an intelligent, funny girl.
i think its quite possible she lost 35lb, unless shes quite short?
I’m 5ft7 and i gain/lose weight quite evenly from all over my body, I’m doing jenny craig and have lost 14.5lb so far and I haven’t lost a dress size yet, i’m hoping at 20lb i should be able to buy smaller jeans!

Raven is 5′2″, I believe, and she does look like the type to gain and lose in a proportionate manner.

nah not 35 pounds, but she has definitley lost, I remember seeing a picture where she looked very big, but she still looks a little big. She’s only 5″2 so probably weighd less than you’d think she would before she lost any weight, therefore losing 35 pounds is a definite exaggeration
she did loose some weight and she looks good…I wish she would wear better fitting clothes…Anyways I still love her she has a good attitude and doens’t let hollywood crush her spirit b/c of her weight.
Well she was always a nice presence and I always admired her for being earthed but now I like her more.I think she had a really hard time losing weight and now even more to keep it because as she said she tends to gain weight easily.Anyway good luck
Basically my opinion is i dont care if she lost weight or not. Raven is still beautiful and like she said shes thick and fabulous! I think she looks amazing. She’s such a role model and she’s not fat. She has so much talent and I think she’s doing something wonderful with her life unlike the people that just wanna sit around all day and talk about how much people lose and gain. But hold on a minute. Raven what is that bra you are wearing (no homo) lol. I think were trying to add a little sexy thing going on are we lol. Thats new but still she looks nice
if raven did lose 35lbs did good for her! she looks great and is a positivr role model. and klara , raven do have talent she was working since she was baby and still is .!!! YOU GO RAVEN!!!!!!!
yea she definatley lost 35 pounds thats her at the begining of the year oh god you should of seen her in the middle of 2009 she was getting really fat this size it fits her best not every celebrity has to be flat stomach skinny i dont think shes over weight i think shes perfect the way she is now
