edgy, in my opinion, does not mean constantly showing every inch of skin possible… her recent choice of wardrobe and photoshoot “ideas” have gotten pretty tacky..

I am not a fan of hers at all and yes, she does lack talent. But I will have to give her credit as I am a fan of health and fitness, her body looks good plus she has gorgeous skin. It is not all photoshop. You can say that I am bias because I have the same caramel skin tone.

I’m not at all surprised by this. She’s still in her acting out phase, which was triggered by the Chris Brown incident.
To me she doesn’t seem like someone who is normally like this. I’m sure once she’s dealt with the issues she has, she will stop feeling the need to act out and show her goodies all the time.
I think so too. She hasn’t dealt with it at all, I think. It’s like shes trying to proove so hard she’s over it, and she isn’t. Her quote from the interview says it all.
I was about to wonder aloud why she seems to have become so wonky image-wise since then (I mean, it’s obvious why but I though she would have grounded herself by now). She was edgy before but it seemed to match elements of her personality and there was a carefree humour to it then. But post-incident it seems – more often than not – over the top, too far to someone else’s idea of the extreme, and overcompensatory. It’s like she’s parodying her idea of what she was before. Except it’s not working.
Plus it looks infinitely trashier.
And is she channeling Salt-N-Pepa from the late 80′s with that hair or what?

By the looks of her behavior and appearances in the last five months or so, she seems to be trying hard to shed her “Abused Victim” status, by opting for this “Raw”, ”Road-warrior-esque” image. But instead of looking empowered–she really does look silly. You can tell this really isn’t her.
