   No offense to anyone, but I don’t get why celebrity stuff is even remotely important to people. You and I are the middle working class, they are the upper class.

   Keep in mind that the Roman Empire built the Colosseum to distract the populace from the troubles going on in the Empire, so they wouldn’t rebel.

    to sarah: she sed she hates being known for her sex appeal. obviously if ur showing ur breats to the world to see and dressing half naked, ofcourse you’ll be known for sex appeal. i guess if your a bad actress and have sucked greatly in the music industry, all you can do is flaunt your body.

    I took no offense to your comment yet I felt the need to maybe explain why most of us probably go on here (whether we admit it or not haha, I personally am too honest and open).

    I doubt it’s “important” to any of us.. we just find celebrities interesting hehe (^_^) we like to judge them to make ourselves feel better about not having the money and fame or the “class” they have or you know.. we go on these sites out of boredom.. which I’m presuming you do thus why you are on here?

    Err is the Colosseum point a metaphor about us being distracted by celebrity news rather than focusing on important world issues?
    If it is then just because we take interest in celebrities doesn’t mean we don’t care about the important world issues.. like the American election (go Obama!) or the current British election (not keen on either candidate) or global warming (guilty, sorry) or poverty and suffering in 3rd world countries (I help towards charities when I can afford to) etc.
    And the “rebelling” part I’m guessing isn’t much of an option to us “middle working class”.

    Lol. I feel like I’ve made a mini speech which I guess I did but hope this answers your wonderings and that I’m speaking for most people on here (^_^)

    P.S. Just a thought - perhaps you shouldn’t go on or comment on celebrity sites if you aren’t interested or don’t have an opinion on the celebrities in question hehe. No offense to you too by the way (^_^) oh and I’m a fan of metaphors.. the colosseum one was a good one although did I get the hidden meaning right?

    Oh and I’ve just noticed that Scarlett Johansson’s eyes look blue in the pictures but in real life they are a green-grey colour. I’m guessing that’s down to photoshop?

    This site isn’t my biggest gripe. Now that I think about it, it’s not these kind of sites that comment on fashion. It’s the sites that go “OH MY DAWKINS [CELEBRITY A] AND [CELEBRITY B] WENT TO [SOME EVENT].” So, sorry for being at all annoying.

    Ergh hate that kinda stuff too - I actually used to like stuff like that but realised how pathetic it is and that I was interested in their lives because mine was so dull at that time haha.
    I mean who cares who’s dating who? If they want to tell to us then fine I’m happy for them but if not then leave them to it. Lol. No privacy must suck but I’m sure all the money makes up for it haha.
